Yup, good eats...actually its just as good as kala, if not better, especially if made sashimi style. Umaumalei, kala lei, Chinese kala are just a few names they call em.

We callem Chinese Kala, but its actual name is Naso Tang. I dunno if they fall under Kala regulations, cause ive never seen them nearl 14inches, usually around 10 or smaller out here. We usually pass them up, no one ever throws for them out here, maybe I gotta tryem one day.
