  • As I headed up the Keweenaw Peninsula, I visited several excellent historic sites, including the Eagle Harbor lighthouse. I also took a tour of the Quincy mine, where I learned all about copper mining and its importance in US history. After leaving the peninsula, I discovered Lakenenland, a crazy junk sculpture park on the side of the highway, the four heading over the Mackinac Bridge.
    🎥 What's a Rapid Recap?
My Rapid Recap videos started as a way for me to let family and friends know that I made it safely to my next destination. Over the months, it became a way to give a quick overview of what I've been doing on the road and share my location as I travel. I'm sharing them on RUclips as I wander for those who are curious about this crazy lifestyle.
🥾 About Shea Oliver - The Hiking CEO
I'm a wandering nomad, roaming around in a Jeep Wrangler and Teardrop Trailer, seeking to discover what's around the next corner. I go slow and stop anywhere that looks remotely interesting. This unconventional approach to travel has led me to beautiful natural locations, quirky small towns, magnificent National Parks, spooky abandoned buildings, surprising architectural wonders, and everyplace in between. I even discovered delicious Mexican Sushi in the middle of the Colorado Plains!
