Nice Hoberman's sphere Joe! I have one that I use with my students for some breathing exercises and they love it! Thanks for the great video! I love makimg freezer meals. My only wish is that my husband would like creamy dishes and casseroles. I am limited in what I can try because of Mr. Picky! Lol.
Congratulations on the up coming birth of the new grandbaby. Also congratulations to your daughter, son in law, and their children. May God blessing be with everyone.
Hello Jennifer, and Emily, congratulations on completing what seems like a Herculean task the laughter was great. Sending blessings to Emily for a safe delivery, and recovery. 🎉 Congratulations to Emily, her husband, and the two little children.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 God bless the Brockmans. X
Maybe next time if you overfill, flash freeze and then wrap🥰 Congratulations on the new baby, so exciting!!! We need More Emily!!!! 😂 I miss these times with my Mom so much!! 😭
I think these freezer meals would be perfect for cranberry harvest time. It would keep you out of the kitchen so much and it would be hearty filling meals for everybody working so hard.
I make sure I heat my corn shells in microwave for one minute and rolls nicely. Your leftover rice could also have been used for fried rice you had alot of vegetables leftover and fried rice freezes great. You guys did a great job I've do freezer meals alone many times and alot of work. Congratulations on a new grandchild.🎉🎉
Congratulations your new little one Emily and family ! Wow girl, that’s a long time to be on your feet, hope you are resting up 😊 I make the same tetrazzini, an oldy for sure but it’s good ! Stay well.
Such a great video. You ladies really worked hard, and everything looked delicious. Congratulations to Emily and Sparky. A new baby is so exciting. I find if you heat the corn tortillas in a little vegetable oil in a skillet they are more pliable thus less likely to break.
Maybe try putting foil on first, then saran. One less step when ready to bake, and the saran will help prevent punctures in the foil while it's in the freezer.
Emily is hilarious!! "I'll clean the microwave for $3.00!" 🤣🤣 Those freezer meals look amazing!! I especially like the chicken tetrazzini over rice. That just sounds so good to me! Also, congratulations on the new baby!! ❤
Congratulations on your new grandchild. I can’t believe how big the kids are. Joe’s voice is deeper now. I didn’t realize how long I have been enjoying your videos until I realized how big the kids have gotten.
🎉🎉🎉 lots of love to the family, new babies are the best. Jennifer, have you tried the refrigerator tube of fresh herbs and garlic? I think they are the brand fresh gourmet at Walmart and are located in the produce cooler. The garlic, basil and cilantro are my favorites! Super fresh taste, and much better life span in the fridge! Aldi has tubes too, but are in the spice area and don't require refrigeration until opened. I do prefer the brand at Walmart though. Maybe give the cilantro a try since not all in the family are fans!? ❤❤❤
I’ve been looking forward to this video. Joes saying did you say something Mom? When it came to the onions. lol put your onions in the refrigerator. That helps a lot. Is Emily homeschooling? This was fascinating. I loved this. So many meals are ready to go. How nice. Thank you Jennifer for taking the time.
the meals looks so yummy! And I must say, that black turtleneck makes your eyes look SO BLUE! 🖤🖤🖤 and congrats on a brand new grandbaby!!! So exciting!!
Oh my stars! Emily's hilarious improv about mowing the grass for $2 was soooooo funny. I replayed it 10 times to enjoy my fit of crying laughter! 31:10
The split corn tortillias with the meat for air frying would be good to use in a salad with salsa and sour cream for a taco salad. Sometimes it hapens with old or cold corn tortillias. I know you just bought them doesn't mean they were fresh. They could have been more full or they could have been a little thinner. Nothing you could have helped anyway, just is what it is. I love taco salad and would eat it that way. Lots of great food for you and your daughter.
When measuring solids put 1 cup water in measuring cup. Drop into water till desired amount causes h2o to rise...easy peasy plus great math skills. Also teach fractions as in 3t = 1 T....good job Maria!
Oh my goodness!! Congratulations to the whole family a new baby!!🎉❤ I love how much your younger kids help you out in the kitchen! Yummy carrot Joe, good man, those are so good for you!😊
I always love your videos! Thank you for being such a wonderful encouragement to so many! Your meals that you share always look so delicious and give me ideas of different meals to try in our home for my precious family. Congratulations to Emily, Sparky and the kiddies on the upcoming birth and arrival of their new precious child and sibling. Congratulations to you all also on the upcoming arrival your newest grandchild (& great grandchild for Jennifer’s sweet Mum) and cousin, niece and or nephew for all your kids etc. Praying for a safe delivery and a healthy Mama and sweet baby! What a beautiful blessing children are from our LORD. Much love from our family to all of yours. God Bless from Australia xx
Congratulations to Emily on her soon to be arrival.. she looks so young. What a great thing to be able to spend time with your daughters oh yes made the favorite casserole yesterday hubby went back for seconds and then he said who is this from Tammy Leslie core Jennifer? I said Jennifer he said tell her it’s good..
Congratulations on another baby in the family! This was fun to watch, thank you for doing the extra work of filming on a day that was already busy and tiring. I hope that in addition to those good freezer meals there will also be a meal train organized for Emily and Sparky after Baby arrives. Those are such a blessing in the first weeks. Your corn tortillas *might* have held together better if they'd been sprayed with cooking oil and lightly warmed in a frying pan first but that is never a complete guarantee. Sometimes they just want to crack apart!
The Sombrero bbq sauce in the ball canning book is really good in the crockpot with a chuck roast. We shred and make taquitos with flour tortillas and cheese added. They are even good leftover. Bake or air fry. Lots of flavor. Just some work canning the sauce. I will be canning more this fall we like it so much.
Yay, another baby, how exciting! Congratulations Emily! Love these freezer meal video's! Maria is so big and so smart and such a great young lady! I also love Peter getting Joe a carrot in the kitchen! Such a great brother! ❤❤❤
Love when you do freezer meals . I don’t have a instant pot or an air fryer . Thank you ! I use crushed ritz crackers and mix with melted butter it has a richer flavor and we don’t like cornflakes . Congratulations Emily ! 🌸🦋🌸
Hi Jennifer and Emily. I really enjoy watching your freezer meal marathons! And CONGRATULATIONS Emily on your upcoming new bundle of joy!! Maria looks so grown up and her skills in the kitchen are greatly improved!! What a wonderful and fun day!! Hugs.
I loved when you and Emily hit that wall that we all hit when we have done waaay too much. Hearing you two laughing and lost made my day. Sounds so much like when my sister and I used to enjoy working together until we got silly. I have kept a food saverbag that we sealed up empty one of those times. Congratulations on the new baby.
Hi Jennifer, Emily and sweet families! Congratulations Emily and to the whole family! How exciting to have a new baby welcomed into the family. Grandparents, aunts, uncles not to mention I bet the siblings will be so excited when you bring your bundle of joy home. So many delicious freezer meals. Joe, Maria and Peter all pitched in the process. I hope everyone has a very blessed week!
Your little daughter is just so adorablely cute, when she smiles and demples show, her whole face lights up. Thank you for showing your freezer meals and prep work. I appreciate you so much.
Cheers Jennifer:) Congratulations, Emily! I love freezer meals. They are wonderful to have on hand. I received my cookbooks and am enjoying reading through them. I plan on making the pizza crust for tonight:) I can tell that your girls watch and learn from you and are very comfortable in the kitchen. I miss doing that with my mom. Enjoy your meals:) That is going to be great for a new momma!
Your comment about the onions reminded me of an old "Happy Days" episode where Howard enlists Marion to make 100 pounds of potato salad for a lodge picnic and she had to cut all those onions because he wanted German potato salad and not a regular mayo based one!
Congratulations Emily! We’re expecting baby #6 at the end of May and I will be giving a lot of these recipes a try! Thanks for the tip on the Freezer Fit website!
I love your channel and I wanted to tell you a hack I learned from another u tuber on the taquitoes. Before she rolls them she sprays the corn tortilla one at a time with some avocado or vegetable spray on both sides and does about a stack of ten. Then she puts the plate of 10 in the microwave for about a min or so and now they are nice and pliable to roll up without cracking. Then another hack she showed us was make a paste af about 2 Tbs of flour and add a little water to make a paste and right before you finish rolling up the taquito she spreads the paste on the top edge and then rolls it over. It acts like a glue and then put them on your tray seam side down and they will not come open. And for the last hack cover them with a damp kitchen towel or paper towel to keep them from drying out and splitting open. I hope this helps you and your daughter the next time you make them. Thank you again for your channel. Have a blessed day!!!
I just would mist each corn tortilla with oil and heat them on your griddle. It not only makes them easier to roll, but the heat makes the flavor of the corn tortilla come out. Tastes so much better.
Do yourself a favor and try the potatoes with Golden Grahams on top instead of corn flakes...trust me! Just those little happy accidents that come from running out of or forgetting an ingredient -- I had to substitute frosted flakes one time, and that was even better than the regular flakes, and the next time, I only had a small amount of flakes and added GGs, and that was IT! My entire family insisted on GGs to top my potatoes from there on out. The onion and salted butter just really are complimented by the sweetness of the GGs.
Dry corn tortillas will crack. If you are using some topping like chili or gruel dip the tortillas to soften them. I’m Hispanicand we make beef or cheese enchiladas and have hot cooking vegetable oil with we lightly fry the corn tortillas to just soften them, place on paper towels to absorb the oil. Then we place either prepared beef or cheese and roll up the tortillas they don’t crack. After rolling them we top off with homemade chili and topping off withe cheese, bake in oven till cheese is all melted . Can add sour cream if you like. Cook meat with finely diced onions and you can use taco seasoning or use your own seasoning in the meat. I strongly dislike the can of red enchiladas sauce used in restaurants for the topping. Quick, easy and so delicious along with guacamole.
That’s a great price for butter . In Alberta we pay $6.49 for a generic brand of butter . Some other kind is on sale right now for $5.99 . That’s a good deal for us .
Corn tortillas need to be heated usually in a bit of oil for 20 seconds each to keep them from splitting. Hopefully that helps. Sometimes if I'm being really lazy i might microwave them but you have to be fat because they cool down quick and they don't get as pliable.
😂 now Emily sounds just like my older kids they're always remind me how they work harder than my younger ones😂 I think everyone goes through the same thing also my older sister used to say the same thing to my mom.
Save yourself the extra step, put the foil on the pans first, then the saran wrap, anchor with small piece of tape. That way you only have to remove plastic and not have to worry about putting foil back on
Drinking wine from a measuring cup....we've all had those days! ; ) LOL....kidding Congrats on the new grandbaby! Thanks for the great freezer meal ideas.
Babies and weddings? You are one busy and growing family! Just think…one day Warren will have lots of hands for cranberry harvest but will maybe want to be retired!!!:):):)

Maybe next time if you overfill, flash freeze and then wrap🥰 Congratulations on the new baby, so exciting!!! We need More Emily!!!! 😂 I miss these times with my Mom so much!! 😭
Yah! Another baby! One of the reasons I enjoy your videos so much is because I'm from a large Catholic family, and your family reminds me of that🙂
I think these freezer meals would be perfect for cranberry harvest time. It would keep you out of the kitchen so much and it would be hearty filling meals for everybody working so hard.
And planting time
I make sure I heat my corn shells in microwave for one minute and rolls nicely.
Your leftover rice could also have been used for fried rice you had alot of vegetables leftover and fried rice freezes great. You guys did a great job I've do freezer meals alone many times and alot of work.
Congratulations on a new grandchild.🎉🎉
When the pans are too full, you can bend the edges up and that will give you more room to put the foil and plastic wrap on without sticking.
Enjoy your videos especially when the kids help you. You are teaching them important life skills.
Congratulations your new little one Emily and family ! Wow girl, that’s a long time to be on your feet, hope you are resting up 😊 I make the same tetrazzini, an oldy for sure but it’s good ! Stay well.
Peter is so talented in the kitchen!! He is prepping food like a pro chef 😂 And congrats on another grandbaby!!! How exciting and so beautiful!
Thanks so much!!
Such a great video. You ladies really worked hard, and everything looked delicious. Congratulations to Emily and Sparky. A new baby is so exciting. I find if you heat the corn tortillas in a little vegetable oil in a skillet they are more pliable thus less likely to break.
I heated them in the microwave per the package directions, but as they cooled, they still split.

Woohoo another baby!!! I live grandbabies ❤❤❤❤ we have 6 boys! Congratulations too all
On the taquitos that have cracked, throw those i to small pyrex and top with enchilada sauce or queso and bake in over or airfryer.
Congratulations to Emily on her soon to be arrival.. she looks so young. Wow! Congratulations to you and your family. How exciting.
I use sweet onions doesn’t bother my dry eyes. I dice the onions by hand.
Love your videos. Peter is going to make a great husband one day and a great cook.
I hope so 😊

Heads up Kwik trip has butter on sale right now for $2.99. Congratulations on the new grandbaby to be!
♥️👍♥️

Congratulations Emily
I would say warm your tortillas first and fill them a bit less. Looks delicious!
When Emily shows up with her food grade tote, things are getting serious!!😀
Very true!
To prevent splitting, warm the corn tortillas in oil in a pan first.
Put them in fridge before, helps cut the burning
Corn tortillas need to be heated usually in a bit of oil for 20 seconds each to keep them from splitting. Hopefully that helps. Sometimes if I'm being really lazy i might microwave them but you have to be fat because they cool down quick and they don't get as pliable.

That way you only have to remove plastic and not have to worry about putting foil back on
I kept looking for the baked spaghetti recipe in your cookbook… finally realized it was out of another cookbook you were using🤣🤣🤣
Flash freeze first. Then foil
Jennifer, if you heat/fry your corn tortillas in a small amount of hot oil and pat dry with paper towels they won't break.
Good morning (evening) Joe!!!!!
Hello there!
The taquitos you made would be really good dipped in nacho cheese or cheddar cheese sauce!
Drinking wine from a measuring cup....we've all had those days! ; ) LOL....kidding
Congrats on the new grandbaby!
Thanks for the great freezer meal ideas.
Mission super soft corn tortillas are the way to go.
FYI, Aldi has butter on sale either this week, 3/13, or next week for Easter…
Congratulations on the upcoming new grandchild…💙 or 🎀???
Happy news about another baby.
Yall should make hot dishwater and wash as you go while cooking , that's what I learned to do raising 7 kids , works perfect,
Just curious could you put the foil on first then the plastic wrap then just remove the plastic wrap only . Then bake.
We tried once and the plastic wrap didn’t stay in place. We had to tape it and that was an extra step we didn’t want to do.
Do the noodles and cream soup freeze well or are they separated and mushy when baked.
Babies and weddings? You are one busy and growing family! Just think…one day Warren will have lots of hands for cranberry harvest but will maybe want to be retired!!!:):):)
I heard if you keep onions in the fridge, that should help some!
Do you make your salsa verde with tomatillos or green tomatoes?
Green tomatoes
You can run the onion on the wall cold water and you won't have that burning
If you microwave the corn tortillas first, they'll roll up perfect.
I always heard if your knife is not sharp enough, that’s when you will tear up from onions.
