Not actually. Rhyles tube( naso-gastric tube) insertion is a clean procedure. And it only require good hand washing and a pair non sterile gloves.

It doesn't matter what you appreciate. This is not a sterile procedure. There's no need to wear gloves. Clean hands suffice.

ITS THE WORST PROCEDURE EVERRRRRR !!
You clearly have no idea what your talking about. She literally did this textbook perfect. OG tube placement is not a sterile procedure so as long as she has washed her hands (which she said she did) she is good to go. Lubricant is not always necessary however most newer OG tubes already come with lubricated tips, or she could’ve prepped the tip before hand, this is evident since she had zero trouble threading and didn’t meet resistance. And the baby didn’t even cry and barely flinched, this is the least stressed baby I’ve ever seen getting a tube. And what the heck are you talking about “too much air” she checks placement by drawing back stomach contents, PH measurement or via x-ray.🙄
