@tedboy66 ?! Timothee' Chalamet is heterosexual. He's only ever dated girls - and beautiful, talented ones at that. He's dating model/entrepreneur, Ms. Jenner, as we "speak." He is impressed with Zendaya because she's impressive. She acts, dances, writes, sings, paints/draws, produces, etc. etc. etc. Zendaya even did most of the stunts as a Trapeze Artist way up in the air in her great hit film, THE GREATEST SHOWMAN. And Zendaya also convincingly portrays a tennis player in her upcoming film, CHALLENGERS , according to the film's award-winning director who had used the coach of US Open winner, Coco Gauff, to coach Zendaya on tennis-playing for months!

I love how being unproblematic IS part of why these actors' are so popular. You see people commenting on their powerful perfomances AND about how well mannered they are. They are so quiet and calm and all giving this introvert vibe in their own way. If you compare this to the marvel cast an promo, it's way more laid back and as much as I love banters, jokes, and iconic lines, it feels great to see courteous, humble and self aware young actors and actress interact with each other.
I have great respect for Austin, Timothy and Zendaya as actors and as great people. ❤

I agree. This focus on this book in cinema form will take several iterations as will their careers. Hopefully they will be given that chance to show a range in their careers that adds complexity as well as longevity.
These young people give me hope for new generations. Talented, eloquent and well-behaved. Just the way they acknowledge each other, listen and praise. E.g. 4:17 where both guys listen to Zendaya speak with their whole bodies.

i know he’s so chill i love it, but it’s so funny because he used to be so adorably awkward and nervous 😂 him being able to pull off both of those personas over time just shows what kind of cool person he is❤❤
Zendaya has helped him become more comfortable in his skin during these interviews. He credits her with teaching him how to navigate the press junket more calmly

Timothee' was a straight-A student at a prestigious University. Austin is well-spoken and well-read also. Zendaya is a brilliantly Multi-Talented actress. Florence is a very good actress, too. All 4 thespians are top-notch (and funny) and deserving of accolades and awards (including OSCARS) for their work on this magnificent film. I would include Tom Holland in their group of fantastic actors. That scene of Tom, filled with righteous indignation in that church alone with Robert Pattinson in The Devil All the Time, pinned me to my chair. Tom is a revelation. I see why he won a BAFA for his brilliant work as a Child in THE IMPOSSIBLE.

@@Webstercolumbus It's the "quickest" nickname. But people who've known her longest call her "Daya." Jacob Batalon (Ned in SPIDER MAN) actually called Zendaya "Daya" in an interview. They grew up together on SPIDER MAN from the time they were Teenagers - along with Zendaya's beloved Tom Holland.

During this two years i've read the whole Dune saga, and ohhhhh boy, what's going to happen in CRAZY. (and in the end... it's a love story.) if you've read, you know.
I shared your excitement about seeing DUNE: PART TWO. And I've seen it now, 3 times. Obviously the writers - including the Genius Denis' have diverged in crucial ways from the books.
Austin always delivered
I remember reading the novel, and I immediately felt like Denis Villeneuve. Amidst the chaos, plots within plots, there was a love story. Paul has a sincere and enduring love for Chani. She was his sihayya, his desert spring. She's his place of refuge. Chani obviously loves Paul as well, she believes in him, she would kill for him. They're just lovely together in the novel...despite the overall story was not a romance lol.

Zendaya states that while Chani in the book acquiesces and fervently believes that Paul is the "Messiah," the director/writer, genius Denis' Villeneuve, makes Chani in the film more complex, layered, and intelligently observant. She loves Paul and knows him deeply and personally as a man., She does not see him as a god.
