When you call people you know, talk about their activities, interests, etc. People like talking about themselves and not people they don't know.

There's a lot of factors beyond just sending the emails that can influence the ratio! I'll be doing a workshop soon on sending effective cold emails/messages 👍🏻

I've sent around 600 emails and have had zero gigs. Lots of conversation with directors, but that 100 to one ratio is way off
