I bought a Fagor Rapid Express pressure cooker that I purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond last fall. PLEASE do not let anyone you know purchase or use one of these. Mine blew up like a bomb last March. I would have been very injured or killed if i had not been in the bathroom at that moment! The company claims that I had not properly cleaned the pressure release valve which is not true. It was releasing steam just fine...until it didn't
Ms Moon,your pressure cooker was tested and reviewed and the testing determined the pressure cooker valved was not removed to be cleaned in a while. As explained to you food particles build up if the valve is not cleaned properly and can clog the opening . This was a new pressure cooker. I have used them for over 35 years. I do not appreciate being told that this was somehow my fault. That is simply not true.

Does it achieve 15 psi? Or just 11psi like other electric pressure cookers?
It gets to 11 psi, like all other electric pressure cookers. Thank you.
