The best part of that run for me was how raw his riding style is. That is a display of pure talent. He had a few moments there and he kept his shit together. I tip my hat Sir.... bloody well done!
If you do not Ride a Bike or just don't know these Bikes you can't always say its MPH or KMPH. I myself ride alot and had to look twice for MPH or KMPH.
I just got my L Version of the Bike two Weeks ago and it is such a Beast, even with just 35 kW and the Sound of the Acrapovic is Insane. The Bike just does not like going slow or holding a certain Speed. It is poking you all the Time and says: "go faster, pull the Throttle, give me speed" Just great.
good riding and good bike but what a road to race up, very impressive. Interesting to see the temp on the dash change 63 degrees at bottom and 41 degrees at top . Cheers 4 sharing
Wow, without doubt the most interesting wide-angle camera ride along ever + at Pikes Peak no less... Stunning! Really does make we want to buy a "Scalpal" right now!
Wow, that was amazing, the camera footage was insane, I loved all the different views to give you multi perspectives. And not only can Fill ride the hell out of anything, but the man is fearless. Congrats KTM and the man CF.
*Honda is for reasonable riders. *Yamaha is for reasonable riders who like style. *Ducati is for riders who value style over everything else. *KTM is for riders who are hooligans!!! I mean that in a good way :)
WOW I have a deposit down on the first 790 to hit NC and super stoked even before seeing this. Great video and some of the best riding I have ever seen!
@@noahp9143 Doesn't matter.. when you're going 100 mph everything is a straight drop because your momentum will send you down the entire mountain. Btw Pikes peak from base to summit is 7800 feet.
way to go Chris! you represent the brand well and make all of us who bleed orange proud. i cant wait to see what that motor will do in a flattrack frame.
I should be receiving mine within a week. It will have the Akropovik silencer and factory tank bag installed by the dealer. 120 MPH in 5th gear! Stock! What a fantastic motorcycle.
1st class footage from that Fusion! Caught every slip and slide on the way up. Sounds great too. Wish the Akrapovic for my 790 would hurry up And arrive!
RipsDiner Unfortunately I ordered the exhaust along with my bike so it's too late now. Do prefer the look and sound of the Remus and Austin Racing though so may be tempted to swap it out and sell it on EBay at a later point👍🏼
Kai Rickenmann After going out on my other bike yesterday with its much too loud exhaust, I've come to the conclusion that the Akrapovic will be fine. I don't want to go attracting any unwanted attention while I'm out enjoying myself. There's a fine line 😉👍🏼
I just rode that road at end of May and my ol sport tourer was fun, but no cars and a real bike that corners... just amazing how daring this guy rides cause the top is truly freaky of this road at speed!
Mid-size twins will do that, a lot more immediate power than a 600 4 cylinder, but without the problems of wheelies off the line that the Super Duke has with its massive torque.
mrvwbug44 more immidiate power than 600 4cylinder? You mean with 3000 or 4000rpm. But when the 4 cylinder goes to 10k rpm, there is not more power on the 2cylinder duke. You just have to ride the 600 bike like it should.
His run with the 1290 was cleaner, but props for the super effort here. My stomach still gets a knot watching this. Wonder what tires they run? Suspension is non-adjustable in front of the 790, wonder if they installed cartridges...
Thats Impressive... Those lean angles with that rear biting the tarmac...always impressed watching a rider that has skills..
The best part of that run for me was how raw his riding style is. That is a display of pure talent. He had a few moments there and he kept his shit together. I tip my hat Sir.... bloody well done!
Pure adrenaline. Anyone who rides a motorcycle can make out its MPH not KMPH. Look at the speed guys.
It's MPH. The Bike does not top out at 140 KMPH. It can go about 200KMPH
La llega a poner a 196,4km/h en lo que yo vi de video para que te agas una idea
Joebullethead who is so stupid and thinks that is kmph???
Tobias Jungbauer Many people asking in the comments if it’s MPH or KMPH. It’s hilarious!
If you do not Ride a Bike or just don't know these Bikes you can't always say its MPH or KMPH. I myself ride alot and had to look twice for MPH or KMPH.
what a awesome motorcycle and even more incredible rider
Höchste Belastung für Fahrer und Motorrad auf dieser Höhe wirklich beeindruckend
Am I the only one that wants to see a RC 790??
i hve the rc390...... would love something bigger in the rc.
How about a Husqvarna 801?
viches me too
Maybe rc8r
New husqvarna Nuda R with Ohlins, monoblocks Brembo...why not
Someone did a top speed test on this bike on the Auto bond and it did 151 MPH (244 KPH) completely stock.. He's definitely in MPH.. Awesome video!

So you can put the akrapovic even in the L version?
@@mat2tia Of course, why not?
But the camshafts go out quick
Incredible camera work, best hot run video ive seen in a very long time
Abnormal wow it's 11 minutes adventure trip for me. Thanks KTM from India
good riding and good bike but what a road to race up, very impressive. Interesting to see the temp on the dash change 63 degrees at bottom and 41 degrees at top . Cheers 4 sharing
Probably one of the best quality, smooth, professional and REALISTIC feeling bike videos ever. Great Job!!
Congratulations Chris. Can't wait to get our hands on one of these. Nice run (as usual)
Wow, without doubt the most interesting wide-angle camera ride along ever + at Pikes Peak no less... Stunning! Really does make we want to buy a "Scalpal" right now!

That's the best motorcycle video that I've ever seen! Awesome!! That 360 degree camera work made it even more real!
I bet that road has a pretty good K/D ratio :P
A few days ago a famous rider called Carlin Dunne crashed and died at Pikes Peak, so sadly yeah :(
Cursed fuckin’ comment
Head On
Dead Right
😖
KTM 4 LIFE.!🤘🏻
The man is so smooth rider, and the bike looks so flicky... What a wonderful thing to watch. Enjoyed it very much. Thanks

Well I ride an FZ-09, I can tell it's a true hooligan bike !
I think Aaron Colton feels Yamaha is reasonable and stylish. ruclips.net/video/04AHOdeU9es/видео.html
Aprilia is for mechanics...
Lately Aprilia machines have been quite reliable.
Lifted_Above A few years of reliability doesn't absolve them of a tradition of crappiness...

I saw this video like 10 times, and i love it
The most Hooligan rider I have ever seen and the maddest bike in its segment KTM 790 Duke, WOW
7:39 that oh sh*t moment when your rear tire slips at the edge of a thousand + foot drop.
Jared K the mountain might be 1k feet tall but I’ve driven up pikes peek casually and there’s no 1000 foot + drops except maybe at the peek.
@@noahp9143 Doesn't matter.. when you're going 100 mph everything is a straight drop because your momentum will send you down the entire mountain. Btw Pikes peak from base to summit is 7800 feet.
Jared K welp now I know to never race on pikes peak lmao
way to go Chris! you represent the brand well and make all of us who bleed orange proud. i cant wait to see what that motor will do in a flattrack frame.
THIS LITTLE BIKE ROCKS !!! I'll buy one for sure
I hope ktm revisits the rc line up with this engine!
Truly "Puckered." I've seen ALOT of P P footage, but nothing like that. thanks.
Superb camera work.

I just wanna see the tires at the end.
Jon Fuller I bet there's no chicken strips left on them.
smoking - time for a new set
Enh, it’s only 12 minutes, and it’s chilly, and there are a lot of slow turns. Probably not too bad.
Loved every second! 👌
That’s it, I’m buying the 790.
Goddamn it sounds like the beast!
Great run on a beautiful bike. Congratulations!
The 360 camera is annoying though, in my opinion. Give me a standard forward facing go pro any day.
KTM you Beauty! Chris Fillmore is a daredevil!
Super impressive stuff Chris! Man I can't imagine the lack of grip on slicks 9 degrees from freezing, rad stuff!
Congratulation on a record run! This video is fantastic!!! Woah!!!
1st class footage from that Fusion! Caught every slip and slide on the way up. Sounds great too. Wish the Akrapovic for my 790 would hurry up And arrive!
Rob Campbell , get a Remus exhaust, sounds much better, seen it in a naked bike test at 1000ps youtube channel.
RipsDiner Unfortunately I ordered the exhaust along with my bike so it's too late now. Do prefer the look and sound of the Remus and Austin Racing though so may be tempted to swap it out and sell it on EBay at a later point👍🏼
Rob Campbell it depends on what kind of sound you pref. the akrapo sound more sporty and the remus deeper
Kai Rickenmann After going out on my other bike yesterday with its much too loud exhaust, I've come to the conclusion that the Akrapovic will be fine. I don't want to go attracting any unwanted attention while I'm out enjoying myself. There's a fine line 😉👍🏼
That bike sounds awesome even with the stock pipe and a de-cat. I would probably not even bother with a slip on with this one.
Holy shit! Great bike, fantastic riding. Risky, too. One mistake could be deadly. Thanks for sharing.
luckyluis couldn't be more true !!!!
I just rode that road at end of May and my ol sport tourer was fun, but no cars and a real bike that corners... just amazing how daring this guy rides cause the top is truly freaky of this road at speed!
Taking my 390 in for some work tomorrow. Got a test ride on one of these. Will be a good boy though. Great camerawork
Boss, the way you lean that animal over is UNREAL
What a stud you are Chris Filmore!!! OMG such a GREAT run and video is off the charts awesome!!! Great job bro 👍
Pure talent Sir Chris and pure rawsss sound DUKE !
Great video.. Miss riding my 640..
My god! Those Knee downs are breathtaking!!
From kerala!
duke 790 🙌
WOW! Thanks for all your comments!
manipur songs
great video, well edited.
Awesome video
Hammer nur 7-8 sec hinter dem Rekord!!! Gesamt dritter Super Leistung 👍
I'm choosing between this and the 890. This film shows me that the 790 is waaay more than enough bike for my skill level.
Please do a separate video of how you set up the camera. It was fantastic!
Dang lol that bike is fast right off the line... lol crazy!
That's it's launch control feature at work I bet

Sensacional, melhor video que já vi sobre Pikes peake !!!
Its amazing how they can lean so much without sliding. Does it take a lot of practice to lean like that or were they born to ride like that?
Good evening!
It is a very good picture!
The motorcycle best!
What skill this dude has. Mental!
god damn thats mental. make one "lams approved" i need it
Incredible bike ♥♥♥
His run with the 1290 was cleaner, but props for the super effort here. My stomach still gets a knot watching this.
Wonder what tires they run? Suspension is non-adjustable in front of the 790, wonder if they installed cartridges...
Awesome ride, thanks for sharing..
Awesome onboard!
That was so cool you sir are king ..
That sucker is quick!..I wasn't expecting it to start the race like that it almost scared me..kekekeke!
I'd love to ride my Rc 390 on that beautiful road !

My god that engine 😳it's like a grizzly bear gargling with bees 🐝 fierce 😍🙏
My mind is blown on so many levels. It's like I just watched the matrix for the first time.
WOOOA AMAZING
Amazing and intense!! But where can I get that camera!!??
Absolutely awesome, the footage is amazing, anyone know what kind of camera was used how it gets the total 360 views???
Vaya tela…esto es ir”a tumba abierta “ y como se conoce el tramo al mm… que manos para pilot🤙🏻🙌🙌🙌
This bike seems so much more modified than the stock one. Remind me more of the new 890 engine tbh
wow so amazing to watch!!!
5 years later and I bought one 😂
actually ready to race
LOL fantastic...1:19 curve marked 25mph, takes it at about 83 mph! Good rider!
Everytime I watch this I wonder if KTM used a prototype 890R engine for this run.
This was shortly after the 790 was released. Theres another video where he explains he hasnt touched the motor
Best ever
My body hurts just watching
