Bear Boy yeah, I can't believe they're not more famous, but at least for now they play smaller venues which is great for atmosphere - I was in the front row when I saw them in Glasgow last week. If they carry on the way they're going, they'll be playing much bigger venues soon, and I think that's a mixed blessing.
pp37903 True true. WHAT that must of been AWESOME! One of their songs was on a TV show awhile back but I forget the name. Hopefully, if their music is associated with the right kinds of shows or movies etc, they'll blow up. They're funny too, I really enjoy their interviews and I think Stella was an excellent addition to the band.
Bear Boy i have seen them 3 times now and also in glasgow twice, best band i have heard in years.i ve been following and listening to them for over 5 years now and they should be massive.
Stella, Stella, Stella... wow, just wow, what a performance by all of them, but Stella most of all. Major props to Jenny, who didn't sing her normal primary backup vocals and was kneeling because she was apparently very sick during this show and Disco/Very was up next, so I guess she had to save some voice for that one... but she was still her usual perfection on the bass.
oh I thought she was just "feeling it". but you can notice Theresa and mostly Emily just looking at her from time to time around the parts when she should've sung
Yeah I don’t remember exactly where I read it but Jenny was really, really suffering during this show. She left the stage a couple of times to either get rehydrated or throw up, or maybe both.
Just beautiful. A hugely talented group of people who are criminally undersold, in my opinion. I know hardly anybody who has heard of Warpaint, let alone like their music. I think many folk find their sound a little challenging. Seen them live twice, both times sounded vocally and sonically brilliant. Here's hoping that I make it a third.
@@marcpadilla1094 'For a bunch of girls.' Yeah, I bet The Go Go's, The Bangles, L7, and Kittie heard the same sexist sounding 'support' many times. Glad you like, though. Let's just ignore the 'bunch of girls' part.
Kahmayee Whitfield they're almost always good live it's crazy! I've only seen a few weak performances and even at their worst they are really good! and Undertow is one of those songs that sounds good in any version they do :)
Great song even better live performance. I have watched a number of live performances of this song and this is my favorite so far. The entire part is at 3:42, when they fully add in the snare. And around 5:02 yo these dames is bad.

@@sarahgallagher7ify the amount of dudes who have made comments about their age in the comment section from 2014 Bonaroo show is so strange. I swear there must be some weirdo Reddit thread about allegedly older attractive women directing them to this performance. Where are they all coming from? They all keep talking about them being 40 and they were barely even in their mid-30’s here. Weird shit.
Not that much, really… but for me their ages (approximately: Jenny, Theresa, Emily, all 41: Stella, 38) signify the love and commitment they have for their craft(s), and for each other.
@@johnthorne4093 30's or 40's? Wow! Was I way off. I pegged them all at their mid-20's - at the most!! They actually could have passed for late teens at that time, 2014. But In agree who cares. Very talented people. Just discovered them a few days ago, actually, though I'm sure I've heard the name years ago.
I'm at the lab wearing yellow safety glasses, trying to replicate a formula that converts "Polly" into "undertow"- I will keep u posted on my findings- sorry mom
did anybody else notice that Emily has hairy armpits? check out 5:45 and 1:58. No objection, just unusual. but not too unusual nowadays. often that means the girl is a lesbian but not always. and no, that's not all I noticed. she has great legs too. seriously (i was serious) they are very good at what they do,
Holy Christ; isn't Emily one of the greatest singers you've ever heard? Stella put in a lot of work on this song, and it was an amazing effort. No surprise, though. She stands amongst the best drummers ever.
I have work tomorrow, but here I am watching every warpaint video on youtube instead of sleeping
Stella is just otherworldly on the drums in this one.
+Jack Watson Dokładnie!
Absolutely! She's incredible!!
One day, I will see them live. It will be a good day.
Damn right. I've seen them twice and they're *stunning*.
pp37903 Saying that I'm jealous would be an understatement. Its great that they've picked up some momentum; hopefully they get even bigger!

Stella Mozgawa is such an outstanding musician! They all are, but that lady just emanates a natural groove.
this is still the most perfect rendition there is of this song
i stand corrected, the mexico acoustic version could possibly compete
@@karen-te4xr In my opinion you were right the first time. This is just sensational.
The second verse with all of them singing together in other versions docks a few points here, but pretty amazing nonetheless

I have been in love with this band from the moment I watched them open for Depeche Mode in 2017 and I cannot get enough.
Stella!!!
this song is full of energy
GOD WHAT A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE!!
One of my favorite songs from them!
Mine too, and Undertow.

Paula Bunbury
I couldn't imagine them doing a weak performance. They just sound too good.
My goodness the sound on this is excellent
Stella on that snare 😍😍😍
The instrumentals in this song are amazing.
This song gives me the shiver every freaking time..... Special!
Perfect performance
not perfect because of the backing track so it is not 100% live
These women are awesome! Love the sound and style.
i love the keyboards!

I meant to say the entire song is great, but my favorite part is at 3;42. Yeah I see I still need to check my work before i turn it in.
This was excellent
I think Bonnaroo was their best set so far
stella is great

holy shit, what a sight for sore eyes! bonaroo, you have the most gruesome crew!
usually i'd comment on theresa cause she's my waifu but GODDAMN STELLA IS KILLING IT ON THIS ONE!!
amazing
Such a rad band
It's like John Bonham playing Paul Simons Ways to Lose Your Lover. Epic.
four incredibly attractive women, each in their late 30’s, all very talented.
Wtf has their age got to do with anything?

Not that their age matters at all, but just to offer a slight correction: I think Stella is around 4-5 years younger than the the other 3.
