Just purchased a GMG Ledge 2.0 yesterday. Previous grill was a basic Traeger. The grill assembly was a joy: One 10mm wrench was provided, and only one size screw. The is an app that gives step by step instructions. Quality of materials is over the top. Start up instructions were excellent. I have only grilled on it twice but it has met all my expectations, temp control is within 0-2 degrees. Can't ask for better than that. The window and internal light are a nice feature. Two unique differences that caught my attention: you can hear the auger and or fan working to keep temperature perfect (I like that), and the other thing is that there is no true OFF switch. When the unit is powered down (all automatic) the OFF light stays illuminated. The grill must be unplugged to make the OFF light go out. Maybe this is by design for a reason I do not understand. I've owned a Traeger and I currently own an EGG. This pellet grill is fantastic. The EGG is a different animal, not necessarily in a good way.
Nothing has got better in last 3 years less quality and more expensive!! I have a GMG ledge prime don’t think I am gonna upgrade but I love the videos my local dealer that I got mine from because i only try to buy local he hasn’t had a GMG in over a year
I have an outdoor kitchen with a platform for my OG GMG, and I'm thinking about upgrading to this new one. Can you tell me if the hopper hangs lower than the base? I would set it in place with the legs to make it work in my outdoor kitchen.

@@DRSmokeNJ car shows start this Monday up where you were last at the Auto Zone
Hi, Dr. Smoke.
Whats up! Thanks for watching
You’re welcome.
The 2.0 GMG doesn't have holes in the main grill plate. Does the grill still get hot enough to grill burgers?
Gmg don't have a cover for the prime 2.0 so i am looking elsewhere unless they do make one.
Very cool! Love my GMG
Thank you
You are welcome
Guys I can't decide if I should get peak or ledge sizing. Family of 5.
May I also ask if you guys have standard grills for burgers etc or do you use your GMG for everything including grilling up burgers/dogs?
Peak, we have never had anyone come back and ask for a smaller grill. We have had people come back for larger.
I personally use mine for everything.

Hopper sits about 2 inches higher than the base where the legs go in.
