Red Stone Engineer here. You can reuse props for added complexity in your escape room by having a circuit which checks for 2 conditions: 1) The prop is in place or 2) The next room requiring the reuse of this prop is available This will allow for back tracking and increase the reusability of your escape rooms which interior decorators would love you for implementing this circuit as they're audience gets another look at their designs while back tracking through the puzzles. It's really simple to implement. Every circuit here has a finally line where when powered activates the door and keeps it open assuming all conditions are met. If a condition is not met then the some part of the circuit is broken and thus doesn't power the door any longer. To keep open despite having taken a prop necessary for all conditions to be met you just need to run a line from the completed power circuit of another puzzle further down from your escape room and connect it to the powered door. This way the door will open: either if you finish the puzzle for that room OR if you reach a checkpoint room which will power both rooms' doors. I plan on adding this in my escape rooms so that I can write riddles which will hint at which rooms hold the pieces necessary for a the puzzle or even better creating a giga-circuit that requires the key piece for each room to go to a specific room within the entire Escape House and unlocks a secret room for the ultimate puzzle/prize.
@@Jay-hc6qy It is what it is. Maybe someone a year or later from now will happen on it and it'll help them. I've been there where a comment from long ago helped me out.
ruclips.net/video/6yJ2hg7H6f8/видео.html this video details how to make t-flip flops. To make the specific one in the video: Place a dropper facing straight up, then another dropper facing into the first. Next place another dropper above, facing down into the sideways dropper. Finally place a hopper facing into the top dropper and put a single item inside any dropper/hopper. To use the flip flop power the dropper below the hopper with a repeater. Enjoy and reply back if you want a better explanation! :D
Really solid ideas! I think hiding stuff is definitely a good idea, especially the adventure mode 'can break' items make for a really satisfying loop
thanks so much! i often make escape rooms for my younger brother and will certainly be trying some of these...
