How To Reset or Erase SRS Airbag Light on Honda and Acura.
In this video I will show you how to reset the air bag light on Honda or Acura cars trucks or SUVs without a computer. This method works on Honda and Acura year 1993 to 2012 newer Honda and Acura cars reset automatically if there is no fault in the Airbag system. Air bag light on? Airbag light on? SRS and airbag is same thing Supplemental restraints system. What is SRS light? What is Airbag?

Wow! Had the same problem on Insight, I Just checked it if the wiring is the same, and it seems almost the same as in the video. While touching the wires I heard doors lock clicking a few times. Apparently connection was the problem because the airbag light is off now 😂 🤷♂️ I see this as absolute win 😄 thanks man

Legend! worked well in a Honda Jazz 2007 (after changing clock spring) reset was what it needed

Go under passenger seat n check that every connection is tight then after that go turn your car on

This works for 2002 Acura MDX
Had a subwoofer installed under the passenger seat in my 2004 Honda Pilot and after the seat was put back in and plugged up the airbag light was on. How to I do this to the Pilot and where is the plug located?
What do you do after the reset cause I turned car off then plugged Mes back in and the light was back when I turned key back over
You need a scanner to diagnose most likely you need to calibrate the seat

This worked for my 03 civic. But then I turned the car off and turned it back on. Light showed up again. What do I do?
This is the same situation with my honda accord 2006 :(
If the light comes back on that means bad sensor. I would start with driver seatbelt buckle as that’s typically the first to wear out.

Hey, just tried using your steps, but didnt fix my prob. Im driving a2006 honda civic and i follwed the steps but its not getting rid of the airbag symbol. followed the exact same steps and everything. i sill have the airbag in the dash on and the airbag2 for i guess passengers on as well. Totally confused. if you got some info or anyoe else, plese give me a shout...thanks!

The dealership told me I have a bad seatbelt buckle, the electronics that the SRS reads I guess.. Will doing this actually allow the SRS system to work again? Or will the light just come right back on for me until I replace the buckle assembly?

never take your car to the dealer. they deal cars, not fix. they just perform professional rip off when attempting a fix. why doesn't the public realize this yet?!?!?!

You do, you just haven't found it. Its not easy to see. That said, error may come back if its ended up hard-coded into SRS Ecu. ruclips.net/video/BFggk09e7F4/видео.html
We're do I find that Yellow harness on a 06 tsx
In the box under the dash close to the dead pedal. You have to remove the plastic cover above the pedals to access it

Saw someone with a 2002 Acura MDX as well as a 006 Accord so I imagine an 06 might work as well. Came here looking for the same answer for the same year lol.

And leave the yellow connector off so the light never comes back in right? Or plug it back in?
Makes no odds. The yellow (MES) connector just sits in a hole in the fusebox, unconnected to anything, so makes no difference if put back or left hanging.
