Couldn’t get spacing even with Curry getting the constant double & traps, because they always respected Klay on D but wouldn’t respect any of the other 3 on the floor. Unfortunately any lineup that could execute offensively crisply enough to take advantage of Steph’s hard double, couldn’t play D.

Coach ... i was really irked all year by poor rotations and soft close outs that led to wide open 3s. Steph even when he tried his best to contest didnt seem to faze all the 3 pt shooters this year. The team needs long and athletic guys to compensate. Mikal Bridges, Brandon Ingram, etc. P.S. i know that Steph was turnover prone all year so you felt forced to play him and CP3 more but they are just too small to defend teams effectively. Moody has taken the leap, he's ready for more minutes. Podz can be the primary ballhandler he's really good at pushing pace and attacking the paint (needs to work on his floater still).
Finally I hear that he let Moody play more minutes! How nice because I do believe he can shoot well with 3 points ! Whenever he plays I can see he is clam and confidence! A very quiet guy who doesn’t show much! I don’t know I have a good feeling about Moody! Of course, all young players needs a good minutes too! The earlier is the best for them to practice more where are the big 3 are getting older so we need to support the young players too! That will help the big 3 a lot right, Coach 😊

You are not totally right the problem here is perimeter defense with dray and TJD warriors should not be helping so much, in that saying warriors have the pieces but too much agenda/hierarchy basketball is being played here. The starters should be 30, Dray, JK, Moody, TJD Bench is really good: Podz, Looney, Klay, GP2, Gui Santos/ Garuba is good around the rim and rebounding and some size Cp3, Wiggins, Saric (traded)

I grew up a kings fan as a kid. Raised in the Bay Area as a ninties baby, i never even knew of the warriors until the Baron Davis "We Believe" season. That's when i can dedinitivly say i had two favorite teams. Once the Core of Dreymon Klay and Steph came to pass, i was instantly hooked. The Kings started reminding me of oakland A's. They would draft young players, raise them to near stardum just to trade them away before they reached their full potential. Its a hard process because after a few years of deleloping players theyre gone and your back to where you started. I feel in love with the loyalty of the warriors. They could have gone in a thousand direction but they stayed commited to their team. For that hats off warriors. And to the Kings take note.
Trade CP3, Jerome robinson, Wiggins, dario saric for Mikal bridges from brooklyn nets and I promise you this team will be able to win 60games next season. Mikal fan fill the bucket and defend at a high level. So the starting 5 will be Steph, mikal bridges, kuminga, Draymond, Trayce. They will be the no.1 defense in the league. Bench: moody, podz, klay, santos, Loon/kai soto or another big and LQ with a healthy GP2 , no one will be able to stop us. With that, we will have length, athleticism, speed and quickness, IQ with veteran leadership. Next year Memphis, Houston and the spurs will be in the midst so we need bridges

kerr has a great mindset about why we lost the close games and on his part he said simplifying the offense which can be true because all the offball and confusion cause alot of the turnovers we have which is really why we were bad

CP3 and Klay are on when they are on....but quickly recognizing That is another big key....48 minutes of effectiveness is essential as a team...
People get on Jk for not rebounding but all year he's been rebounding more than wiggins, from the start of the year wiggins been bogging down the starting line up even tho lately he had made a few plays and shots he wasnt as newrly impactful as the salary he earns, the problem usnt playing jk and Wiggins is the problem it's wiggins starting with klay is the problem, the -/+ king.
We need 3 rotations-the other a defensive one. There will be some interchangeability, due to our needs and injuries, but I agree that too many changes causes confusion, or at least hesitation. There are 15 slots on our roster, and the new way is to use all 15 for playing-not just development.
If there are so many guards that are just better than Moody on the team then trade him. Then please tell me what guard on the team not named Steph is better than Mood, hint: it is NOT Podz (I love Podz)
Podz is better, but the two are hardly comparable. Its more liek: Wiggins, Klay, Quinones, GP2…maybe Kunminga. So thats the company he is propably in. Podz is more like CP, Steph, Drey to some dedgree. Moody is essentially a 3 and D guy. Not a decision maker….yet.

I like the comment about having the players make better decisions. This Starts with Draymond Green. Its not a secret that the Warriors play through Draymond Green, and as a team and floor leader, the HC cannot repeatedly have an extension of yourself going off and having a meltdown. Sometimes, the game has just begun and the vitriol towards the officials is in full swing. This cannot be allowed by the staff, and can't possibly endear the player or the team to the officials, who are there with a job to do. You have to keep Klay, but not at the expense of breaking the team's bank.The owner Joe Lacob has said, he's not paying a luxury tax again the upcoming season.Klay does have diminished skills, but I believe he feels the team owes him for what he has meant to them. For that, I would thank Wiggins for coming through, and reassign his salary slot to Klay, a little north of $25 mil.Lockdown defenders, accurate, knockdown shooters, and as Jerry West had reccomended,as you upgrade at each position, you upgrade with size .Either you go all in on a Rebuild, or you get Busy in free agency with a Win Now approach. Coaching and attention to this new roster is imperative, because Kerr and Steph will be coaching and playing in the Olympics this summer.
As a help, I advise Draymond to use the energy of our opponents, who are trying to get him kicked out, and destroy the Dubs, to fuel himself to get better on the court that game.
Regarding the lack of defense against the 3-point, it seems if you have a point guard like Pods who led the team in rebounds and charges in the paint then that's one less player on the perimeter. How to you adjust for that? It really shows how unique a player Branden is and the dilemma to have him shoot more 3's as a potential #2 player like Klay and sacrifice those numbers.
If you're to stick as a Shooting Team u should study this to have clear shots for your shooters aside to this a combo of attacking and power playing players to contingent ur team You should have a Goal and that is to Win The effects of their players trading the recipient team won and is getting stronger what's left of them they will again build chemistry
Love having cp3, and keeping Klay for a reduced cost if he's willing and bringing him off the bench. Cp3 and Klay with that second unit can be really solid. For sure need to trade our guy Wiggs and some role players for maybe another star level player. Gotta keep TJD, JK, and Podz in my opinion. Moses, GP, Looney, and the other youngins can be pieces to trade. Couple years left of what we got in Steph
Kerr has a short leash for moody, hopefully it’s because he has high expectations of him. Go moody, still rooting for you! Hopefully more breakout next year!
The coaching staff and vets need to adapt and embrace change is the only way Warriors can be a strong contender next season. Now its time to fucos on JK and Moody's development, they're growth had been delayed because of favoritism and lack of trust lol. I know JK had a leap this season but we all know there are still a lot of things that he needs to improve and im glad his priority this summer is to get more better as a player.
Moody, Kuminga, TJD need to start if this team wants to compete The problem is that their learning curve and timeline doesnt fit with the win-now necessity of the aging big 3 Best bet - find a stretch 4 that we can start (like a dario saric upgrade, one with size that can play defense and get starter minutes). That way you start Steph, Moody, Kuminga, (______), TJD. At this stage convince Klay and Dray to come off the bench and win 6th man of the year. GP2, Loon, Podz rounds out the bench unit. Podz can spot start for Steph. That leaves CP3 and Wiggins to be traded for this stretch 4 that we are lacking Markannen would be a dream fit. Maybe Cam Johnson or Tobias Harris would be nice as well
The warriors never needed height to win. I dont think thats the answer. Just need to improve on the margins. Get Steph some help, he was shouldering too much this year.
I hope this season is a wake up call for them and gonna make a change for the team. I'm sure they are not dumb not to notice their play style is outdated and they need to add some size. Stop signing old players
First off, I have deep deep respect for Kerr on so many levels. But .... I think he needs to figure out how to STRATEGICALLY get past his lack of trust of nex gen players. The Warriors in the past 4 years, and even right now, have had a ridiculous weslth of nex gen players ... but none have reached their potential because .... Kerr can't get beyond his lack of trusting these guys.

Moody isn’t a screen shooter, so can’t really be compared to klay. He isn’t a playmaker so can’t be compared to CP/podz. His play style is more of that of a wing in the wiggins/kuminga mold.

Has anyone thought that even if we bring Klay back for 20mill, if we don't resign Looney, Saric and CP3,, and we reshape Gary's contract to make it less money for longer (he even mentioned it in his exit interview), we'll get 30mill to hunt free agents for 3 roster spots. If another non NBA player like Anthony Lamb, Ty Jerome or Cory Joseph gets consistent minutes the ENTIRE season, instead of Moody finally getting a role, its up for Kerr. He's not a real coach, just an ego manager with a good idea who happened to get Steph on the rise. Looney's role is understandable, he is only good in certain situations. Moody has been solid in every single garbage minute Kerr gave him. Leave the players with no upside alone and develop your young guys. Podz and Trayce getting burn honestly doesnt make up for it. Kuminga should have easily replaced Wiggins in the starting lineup this year, especially with him playing like a hostage

It's a new world. Old ideas will no longer work. You have to pay attention to how things really are, and go with what works, rather than go with your mind(e.g. 20-point leads are safe. You have to cut down the number of players playing in the playoffs-which was done prior to our possible playoff situation-etc.). It seemed like every situation when you went with what your past knowledge told you, it backfired. This new world is a positive world-negativity(e.g. towards your players, GM, etc.) no longer works.

Podz is better, but the two are hardly comparable. Its more liek: Wiggins, Klay, Quinones, GP2…maybe Kunminga. So thats the company he is propably in. Podz is more like CP, Steph, Drey to some dedgree. Moody is essentially a 3 and D guy. Not a decision maker….yet.

I like the comment about having the players make better decisions. This Starts with Draymond Green. Its not a secret that the Warriors play through Draymond Green, and as a team and floor leader, the HC cannot repeatedly have an extension of yourself going off and having a meltdown. Sometimes, the game has just begun and the vitriol towards the officials is in full swing. This cannot be allowed by the staff, and can't possibly endear the player or the team to the officials, who are there with a job to do. You have to keep Klay, but not at the expense of breaking the team's bank.The owner Joe Lacob has said, he's not paying a luxury tax again the upcoming season.Klay does have diminished skills, but I believe he feels the team owes him for what he has meant to them. For that, I would thank Wiggins for coming through, and reassign his salary slot to Klay, a little north of $25 mil.Lockdown defenders, accurate, knockdown shooters, and as Jerry West had reccomended,as you upgrade at each position, you upgrade with size .Either you go all in on a Rebuild, or you get Busy in free agency with a Win Now approach. Coaching and attention to this new roster is imperative, because Kerr and Steph will be coaching and playing in the Olympics this summer.

Regarding the lack of defense against the 3-point, it seems if you have a point guard like Pods who led the team in rebounds and charges in the paint then that's one less player on the perimeter. How to you adjust for that? It really shows how unique a player Branden is and the dilemma to have him shoot more 3's as a potential #2 player like Klay and sacrifice those numbers.
If you're to stick as a Shooting Team u should study this to have clear shots for your shooters aside to this a combo of attacking and power playing players to contingent ur team You should have a Goal and that is to Win The effects of their players trading the recipient team won and is getting stronger what's left of them they will again build chemistry

Love having cp3, and keeping Klay for a reduced cost if he's willing and bringing him off the bench. Cp3 and Klay with that second unit can be really solid. For sure need to trade our guy Wiggs and some role players for maybe another star level player. Gotta keep TJD, JK, and Podz in my opinion. Moses, GP, Looney, and the other youngins can be pieces to trade. Couple years left of what we got in Steph

The coaching staff and vets need to adapt and embrace change is the only way Warriors can be a strong contender next season. Now its time to fucos on JK and Moody's development, they're growth had been delayed because of favoritism and lack of trust lol. I know JK had a leap this season but we all know there are still a lot of things that he needs to improve and im glad his priority this summer is to get more better as a player.

Best bet - find a stretch 4 that we can start (like a dario saric upgrade, one with size that can play defense and get starter minutes). That way you start Steph, Moody, Kuminga, (______), TJD. At this stage convince Klay and Dray to come off the bench and win 6th man of the year. GP2, Loon, Podz rounds out the bench unit. Podz can spot start for Steph. That leaves CP3 and Wiggins to be traded for this stretch 4 that we are lacking

the Moses answer doesnt make sense. Klay is older. Podz is a rookie, CP is ancient. GP is a role player.
Moody isn’t a screen shooter, so can’t really be compared to klay. He isn’t a playmaker so can’t be compared to CP/podz. His play style is more of that of a wing in the wiggins/kuminga mold.

Has anyone thought that even if we bring Klay back for 20mill, if we don't resign Looney, Saric and CP3,, and we reshape Gary's contract to make it less money for longer (he even mentioned it in his exit interview), we'll get 30mill to hunt free agents for 3 roster spots. If we can't get two/three players that cover needs we'll be screwed. And I don't remember Bjelica and Otto being so expensive.

If another non NBA player like Anthony Lamb, Ty Jerome or Cory Joseph gets consistent minutes the ENTIRE season, instead of Moody finally getting a role, its up for Kerr. He's not a real coach, just an ego manager with a good idea who happened to get Steph on the rise. Looney's role is understandable, he is only good in certain situations. Moody has been solid in every single garbage minute Kerr gave him. Leave the players with no upside alone and develop your young guys. Podz and Trayce getting burn honestly doesnt make up for it. Kuminga should have easily replaced Wiggins in the starting lineup this year, especially with him playing like a hostage

It's a new world. Old ideas will no longer work. You have to pay attention to how things really are, and go with what works, rather than go with your mind(e.g. 20-point leads are safe. You have to cut down the number of players playing in the playoffs-which was done prior to our possible playoff situation-etc.). It seemed like every situation when you went with what your past knowledge told you, it backfired. This new world is a positive world-negativity(e.g. towards your players, GM, etc.) no longer works.

People are too enamored by Kuminga’s athleticism. His basketball IQ, decision making, & handles are all below average for a player of his hype & perceived value. These deficits have proven to be significant liabilities. Unlikely to be an all star in year 4 or anytime soon unless some unforeseen magical leap forward occurs.
