Just went to check my filter. Dealer did the same thing by installing the original screen over the one attached to the filter…. Thanks for your video so I could fix mine.
Thanks for the video! The manual left out most of the procedure. The only thing it said was to remove two screws that weren't screws. All set now. Thanks again. Steve
Thank you that answered my question I didn't low if the 2011 had a removable screen now I won't have to order one when I purchase the attack blue filter from TKO
I know this is a bit old, but still very useful! The only problem I had was to remove the connector at side of air channel. I know I have to pull the small while slider under the connector back full. But the thing did not want to move and I didn't wan to mess up the connector. Anyone else have this problem? Solution? I was able to remove a hold down on the connector cable and wiggle the air channel out without removing connector...but it's a pain.
"grab a TOR-EX" LOL, funniest thing I have heard all day :-)
Thanks! Replaced this in 2017 without this guide. Manual says once every 50K miles. I'm good for the next 7 years at this rate!
Nice enjoy ! I put 50k on this car in 2 years driving to golf tournament s up and down east coast

There is some sort of animal living where my air filter is. Is he going to be OK?
I’d remove him so he doesn’t block all the horsepowers lol
Nice job--and one-handed too! I can barely do it with both hands...
You can do it!
BTW, a new filter will not increase your mileage but may slightly increase peak power.
Thank you! Didn’t see that first pullout clip. 🙏
Your welcome glad to help
I'm going to have to get me sum of them tore-x bits...but I won't be running the screws into a plastic hole with an electric driver/drill. Just sayin'
Good call !! I had the choke on a very light setting so it wouldn’t have power to strip
Looks quite a bit different than my C6 air cleaner set up
Thank you that answered my question

Sometimes I remove the entire white slider piece out of plug before the plug is released fully they get clogged with dirt sometimes
How do you remove that slider? @@golfncars5094
Can I put a perfomance air filter in there? Do you know anything about the blue attack air filter? Any change in sound? Performance?
Ahmad Hafez You can put a different one in there but it’s not gonna make much sound difference like an exhaust would
can you tell me where u got the new filter from ?
Amazon pa5821 premium guard air filter
No tune required?
Nah just normal service
