NICK’S CRACK: it can only be visited with accompaniment of a guide of the company Guartelá Ecoturismo. The contact is 55 (42) 99986-9340. You can also book online through reservas.tibag... page (currently offline). But I recommend consulting via Whatsapp before buying the ticket.
The guide will arrange a meeting point and lead the group to the trail, which is inside a private property with controlled entrance. This is located in the southern part of the municipality, near the border with the city of Castro, accessed by a side dirt road to the PR-340.
PUXA-NERVOS FALL: the property is at coordinates -24.559620, -50.518847, west of the city center, after a 30-minute stretch of dirt road. But beware: do not search for "Salto Puxa Nervos" in google maps, because the point leads to the wrong place. I don’t know if the location is correct on Waze.
To get there, do the following
1) By the time I write this, Google Maps does not chart a route into the "Salto Puxa Nervos" property. Then, enter the following coordinate -24.555528, -50.518361 and trace the route there.
2) This coordinate is from the point where you need to turn right, leaving the main road and entering the property of Salto Puxa Nervos. Then, just ride a little more and park in front of the inn.
Anyway, the main road has good signage for the property.
If you want to visit during the week, make contact to check the opening hours and days by phone [phone].
SALTO SANTA ROSA: the property is located at coordinates -24.556879, -50.526101. Searching for the location "Salto Santa Rosa", on google maps, the route will be correct. If it is on weekdays, check the opening hours at 55 (42) 99842-0028.
GUARTELÁ CANYON: To do the basic trail, go to Guartelá State Park. Search for this location in the traffic app, or head to coordinates -24.569394, -50.266372.
The opening hours and from Wednesday to Monday, from 9 am to 6 pm - however, the trail can only be started until 4:30 pm and you need to return until 6 pm.
