File a claim with the shipping company! It's itemized. They know what's missing. It's insured. Use it! For what you paid, I'd expect perfection! We ship with my job daily, and when things go wrong, we file claims to make it right. You paid for it, now it's the shipping company's turn!
I was glad to hear it was itemized in the video. If I was Wood, I would be freaking out more knowing some of my stuff went missing during transport and that I had no idea what exactly went missing. It's also worse that they taped some of his items to the side of the containers because they couldn't get them to fit back in the containers. Shoddy packing and shipping job. I would definitely expect better for 3,000 dollars.

At the very least they should cut him half of that shipping cost back + lost items.
Issue is, the shipping company will put blame on the storage company and vice versa.
AstrosGamer it was the shipping company’s responsibility to pack it ready for shipment (which they clearly did not even attempt to do). If they weren’t happy with what the storage company had done then they would have said so before shipment. There is literally no blame on the storage company.
Honestly, it's almost miraculous that all that stuff made it mostly in tact in plastic tubs shipped around the world.

Kakashi - Leonhart well when you ship internationally (which this came from australia) they have extra tax and shipping fees that add up, and if these items were based on size and weight im sure thats why it added up! Thats quite a bit of stuff.
When you ship internationally and all the stuff is heavy, it can get pretty expesive
Was expensive for the packaging he got but tbh I'd pay that if I had easy 10 grand plus in merchandise. I'm surprised the shipping didn't steal anything.

I'm pretty sure you know this but be careful with electricity differences because Australia is 220v and America is 120v you could end up frying your stuff
how America has less volt, the other way around I understand that is possible?
@@shellybbt America uses 120v for some reason...most of the world uses 220v I have game systems from there and where I live its 220v so I have to get a converter adapter to play those consoles...if you look at any product from America is will say 110-120 and almost everywhere else will say 220-240
@Christianne - They have it differently because America just needed to be that little bit different.
I lived in the states as well if I bring something from the states to Australia or Europe it will fry, but I am not sure why that would happen the other way around? The console will get less volt. Yes, you need to convert, but he does not or at least he needs to if he needs more voltage not less what we need living somewhere else than the states. (sorry cannot really explain it but your answer says the same thing as I do. Still, the question stays I guess he does not need a converter against frying, rather to add voltage but I never needed one of those.
I know I lived there still it won't fry because it is less volt going through the console not more.

I live in Australia and I will never use Bendigo pack and send. So maybe count that as a win I guess. Because I really feel your pain. I have had similar experiences with some personal gaming belongings. It's a bitter sweet feeling when you get your stuff.
I’m glad you got your stuff back. I would spend whatever I had to do to make sure I got my stuff too. No matter what, hold onto things you hold dear. At the end of the day that’s all you’ve got.

Of course, it's still not 'broke' in the sense of 'not having any/much money overall', it just means, 'I'm now broke in this given sense since I just spent my money on games/hobby stuff'. Real broke people don't have money for food or games. That's what poverty/broke really means. It means poor all the time. I see this a lot of people say, 'now I just bought this dear item and lots of drinks, I don't have much money left' or 'I don't have enough money for two really expensive hobbies'. That doesn't make you poor, that just means you wasted all your money on things you shouldn't have bought or you're simply spending too much, thus leaving no money left for things you actually needed to buy. Only stupid rich people or druggies give this kind of argument of, 'now I spent my money, I don't have any left'. Well, that is how money works.

I knew a guy who worked in a game store and he kept getting credit cards and had a massive overdraft of like 10k he lived in and knew he'd never get out of and he spent everything on video games and Jager and lived in a bed sit (one room and a separate toilet) barely able to pay the electricity bill to play the piles of stacked up games. He was miserable but he couldn't stop buying games, convinced he was investing in his future even though it was all pre order prices on current gen, albeit with an employee discount. Some people are weird.
