This last week I have seen a MASSIVE spike in people leaving mythic 8+ right after it starts. They are either stress testing to see how many they can leave before they get banned, or they are just protesting and leaving on purpose
@@BusJustice i had a guy leave after 3/4 packs because i asked if he wanted any help with routes. I was on an alt and it was a 4, he kept afking between every pack. My bad for helping because he had a temper tantrum saying i should be the tank if i wanna act "Like that", and left after his rant. Retarded take to say the least if u think ppl dont just leave after 1 minor mistake no matter what it is.

Even if it was one thing and they leave, just get over it, I think that's happened to me like 5 times since Legion. And I do more keys than you every season. Not worth crying about.
Had one leave after the first boss fight on Dawnbreak. Died to the first boss due to a glitch. Dude called me a noob tank, claimed the key was dead and left. We 4 manned it and upgraded the key by 2.
At the very least they could’ve made the trading post reward all of the holiday weapons (except perhaps for the 1h candy cane sword that some may have bought last year.) The stupid murloc romper is a huge miss for December especially.
I feel like a ban for leaving a key is extreme. 3-4 hour dungeon deserter penalty, and making keys not deplete when someone leaves sounds like a better solution to me. Sometimes people just end up in groups that physically cannot complete a key, so now what, i have to sit in the thing for 45-50 minutes in fear of a ban?...
@deseanroot75 well if they're going to ban people then that needs to be made into an in game feature, I don't disagree with punishing people for griefing others. I just disagree with banning people who aren't technically breaking terms of service, instead of implementing a solution themselves. They have deserter penalties and such in BGS and regular dungeons, raid finder etc. should be implemented, much longer than 30 minutes, and potentially stop key depletion, I don't think it makes sense for the game anymore. Just some thoughts though.
@@andrewhutchinson3074 it's really hard to say since they were kinds vague with the wording but it's not quite the same as leaving qued content. Blizzard is ok with occasional leaves, or is the group decides to quit, the ban is only affecting serial leavers. They just haven't said what the number is that qualifies. It would be like if someone left maybe 10 lfgs a day, should they still get a 30 min penalty or a full ban? It's hard for m+ because You shouldn't get a penalty if you need to leave for a valid reason, however if you leave 10+ times a day a 30 min timeout is nothing ya know.

It's not grieving when 1-2 people lack the skills to execute dungeons that had increased timers. It's also wasting someone's time for shit amount crest because most people can't not fuck up and ruin keys from playing outside their abilities.
If the point of playing them in leaving whenever smth goes wrong, I guess it's good, that they'ra gonna die. P.S. I don't play mythic+, just judging by the context

Honestly. Under a 12 even with deaths dungeons are very timable.

The whole group can agree to drop the key.
