- Little Nightmares is one of the most requested games I've ever played, and it did not disappoint! This kind of atmospheric and unsettling horror has to be my absolute favorite game genre.
I feel that Little Nightmares 2 is even better than the first, which was already one of my favorite games I've played recently!

@@thedestroyerofbirds Im guessing 2nd quarter 2024, the announcement trailer shows off mainly gameplay, unlike 2''s trailer, and there was a hands-off gameplay demo at gamescom, so the game im guessing is 60-70% complete, the necroplis looks finished, just some animations need some polishing.

@@frog6384Ok, so here's what you do. You solicit a list of games, half of which end happy and half end sad, but you don't know which ones. Then you play several. You won't know how a given game ends, but you'll have a good chance of playing at least one happy
@@frog6384I recommend playing The Devil in Me, Little Hope, The Quarry, and any other games from the same studio as they have a lot of good horror interactive movie games but depending on your choices results in a good or bad ending pretty much

To be fair the dlc basically adds nothing to the story as the ending doesn’t make a difference to the plot, it’s just extra gameplay essentially

Here’s some timestamps if you wanna avoid stuff :’) 41:24 is when they last appear, 45:10 is if you wanna skip straight to the final chase and 46:22 if you just wanna skip the entire hospital area. The rest of the game is clear of weeping angels type scares afaik! Stay safe, from one scaredy-cat to another :D

This is the first time I’ve interacted with Little Nightmares stuff so I have no idea what’s going on, but I gotta say Grateful is the best one.
It makes sense to call her Boochie because we don't know that her name is Gumpkin cuz this is in the past.
If you're looking for a horror game (Well, "horror game" in quotation marks) with a happy ending to play, might I suggest Smile for Me? More on the level of Bugsnax 'horror', but its spooky at parts. Idk, I played through it and found it very nice :)
You know that Little Nightmares is a PREquel to LN1 and not a SEquel right?
This is the timeline:
1. Very Little Nightmares
2. Little Nightmares II
3. Little Nightmares I: Secrets Of The Maw
4. Little Nightmares I
I'll explain:
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!
In VLN you play as the Raincoat Girl. At the end RCG falls into the water with the pretender and we only see her raincoat floating on the surface.
We also see Six throughout the game, with her gray sweater on.
I know, Six gets her iconic raincoat in LN2 at the end of chapter 2, but I will also explain this.
I believe that the raincoat was found at the shore of pale city and that a different kid found it. Then the coat was left in pale city and the kid most likely got taken by the thin man.
At the end of LN2 we have a secret ending, once you've collected all the hats, we see Six encountering Shadow Six. Shadow Six points at a poster of the Maw laying on the ground. Then we can hear Six's hunger, her stomach, for the first time in the game.
In the comics we see Six being taken by The ferryman, who brought her to the maw, also seen.
Then, LN1 begins in the maw.
You know the drill.
At the end of the game, six kills the lady.
Now, why do I think that secrets of the maw came before LN1? Because we see six throughout the game on her journey through the maw. And because the Lady is still alive at the end and runaway kid, the kid you play as, becomes the nome that got eaten by six.

Little Nightmares is such an incredible feat of environmental storytelling, I LOVE THIS FRANCHISE.
With no words spoken, it conveys everything you need to know and such much more!

A cool little note about the ending!: before 6 ‘drops’ mono, after a bit of investigation and clipping into 6’s pov, you can actually see mono nod their head beforehand! Insinuating that mono TOLD 6 to let go!! Idk I just really love this game and the first one. And I think it is such a cool little detail that is so hard to notice, but changes the entire meaning of the ending from mono being abandoned by 6 to mono just accepting their fate (or that only one of them could go on)

i genuinely think ln2 is an improvement over the first in every way accept the janitors design :3 ln2 is scarier, and harder, and longer. all the monster designs are awesome and the story is amazing!

If you want horror game with good, bittersweet ending then you might like "Ad Infinitum". It´s about a soldier from WW1 dealing with trauma he suffered not only in war, but also at home.
Might not be your cup of tea, but that´s ok :)
I would consider Omori a horror game with a happy ending. It doesn’t look like it’s gonna have one but it all comes together in the end. Its bittersweet. It’s like 40 hours, though.
It was a treat watching you play both LN games. They are probably my favorite games of all time and honestly it's not even close at this point. The atmosphere, tension, worldbuilding, and characters are just perfect. Loved your reactions to stuff.

this game is a prequel! there is a secret ending that shows Six seeing a pamphlet for the maw and i believe getting hungry, which she doesn't do the entire game, meaning it being a time loop is impossible.

You should play Eversion - it's a deceptively cheerful horror game, and IF you collect all the gems you get a happy ending. One of my favorite games; I've played it through like 3 times.
