What a great episode!! I lived in Abqaiq and Ras Tanura Saudi Arabia when I was young. I had many Muslim friends and saw first hand how wonderful these people can be. Hi Rosie having spent time in Muslim countries myself I know what your saying, sadly I don't think our western governments want us to know the truth. Loving your adventure.
well that is a unsubstantiated, stereotypic generalization if i've ever seen it. You may be surprised to find out how many different groups of muslims exist - if you are open minded and willing to find out. Maybe start by looking into how many different reformist groups exist and how many various translations of the Koran exist and how many different views individuals generally hold - and you may start to find that you are looking in a mirror of our culture.
You have got a point, but to be fair these Muslim countries are doing way too less to tackle the problem and to open a dialogue. Same goes for the mosques and imams who basically do not speak up or haven't for far too long.
Rosie, as you know I have traveled the world for well over a half a century. I can say that everyone I have ever met has been friendly and helpful. So more than others. The people that I have encountered in Muslim countries have been the kindest of all. Thank you for trying to spread the word.

Muslims r amazing generous people I was on a motorcycle trip through New York and could not find a place to stay due to some event I was getting some food at a dinner asking the waitress if she knew of a place to staywhen a Muslim man approached me and offered to let me stay in his home for the night I felt I needed to share that story because of all the negative things about the Muslim culture people like to emphasize the few bad apples over there but the man I met that diner changed my views and I am ashamed of my ignorance and willingness to believe what I was told in the media

Rosie, this is tremendous. I've taught English to many Omani students and they are terrific people. I'm currently teaching many Muslims from various countries, and they are beautiful people. Muslims are very deeply indoctrinated by by their religious teachings and by the teachers of their religion, so that many of them present the same versions of whatever "teachings of the Quran" they have been exposed too, hospitality to strangers is one of the more visible (and appreciated) of the hundreds of Quranic teachings Muslims practice and present. And there are as many "interpretations" of the Quran as there are sects of Islam, and many of them vary, and are different, and some are not so hospitable.
love it Rosie! :-). i'm an american and was married to a moroccan woman for a few years. i too found the muslims to be very gracious and giving people. got to spend a few weeks in morocco with her family. everywhere i went i was surprised by the kindness and generosity of the people, and their religious reverence and daily praying was beautiful to behold. i actually said for many years that the american church would do well do adopt the reverence for God and man that the moroccans showed in their daily lives. i wish the marriage had worked out... i miss the arab world. I wonder how she would be treated as an American blonde woman on the side of the road, or how about a single Jewish woman. The same...maybe, maybe not. Certainly not what goes on in many parts of the world. Very respectful to their own race but not always towards others. The biggest problem is the nice Muslims don't speak out against the horrific acts of the 20%. But they don't, why is that? They are either afraid or they silently agree with their actions. You tell me.
mzimmerman12 i would say maybe a bit of both.not everyone hates so strongly as that 20%.i seen a clip of good muslims making a circle to protect jews from some angry muslims protesting.problem is that 20% you speak of may be growing.
mzimmerman12 the Horrific acts of 20% .!!!! Are you stupid or playing stupid or perhaps delivering a sinister message. ! 20% of 1.5 Billion people are a mere 300 million people. ! Are you saying 300 million Muslims are committing horrific acts .!!! Like what. ? Like they invaded the USA in 2003 and killed over 1 million people. ! Or maybe they dropped nukes on Japan. !!! Can you totally shut up please or go get educated before making comments.
Nym GRACE slave trade. !!! The only slave trade in the 21 century that I know of is in white skin women. !! , can I ask you, your comment is based on personal experience or hearsay or perhaps on prejudice. !! Seems to me what you see in this video does not fit with your mindset. Simple as that
Idaho Rider Hi. i actually live and work in masirah, the place where rosie had the accident. and the brothers are my friends in real life. everyone in this country is a copy of salman and his brother. i really love being here. only becausr of the hospitability and kindness of omani people.
Thanks for taking us along to meet the people. No surprises, but certainly a lot of fear of Muslims here in the U.S. Everyone I've met, OTOH, has been exceptionally nice, including the Palestinian clerk at a nearby grocery that insist on shaking my hand every time I visit.
You are correct Mike, one should be very careful. But don't think that you can do that anywhere you want in the U.S. either. I have several gay friends, one from South Carolina. If you don't keep your sexuality secret your safety could be in jeopardy. We're really not much different here. In addition to my gay friends, I also have several Middle Eastern friends. I used to be married to a woman from Baghdad Iraq. My Middle Eastern friends and former family have gay friends. It's really the government and crazy fundamentalists that's the problem, not your average citizen.
We welcome you all with love and appreciation in your second country Sultanate of Oman ... I am Omani and I love to welcome all people and all religions with all love and respect for our religion, our people and our Sultan Qaboos Allah.
if only i could put more thumbs on this one, i'd love to. safe ride, always! ^^ from my point of view... regarding the content itself on muslim/islam, and others comments on origin, political views, religions, .... or any labels out there... it's only labels. we're all the same human being, with guts and blood. and if we're talking about riding... we share the same planet, we ride on it, we share the road... no matter what. so let's keep it that way... forget the labels, just go on riding! :)
Matthew Guzek sorry Matthew, I do however include it in the video description. They also go in order from when I first posted them to now, so bottom of the list up. with just a couple random vids in between. Sorry for the confusion , I will change that
Really hats off to you..what a gutsy lady you are......glad you are in a Muslim country, showing the world what is Islam & Muslims in reality are.....May Allah S.W.T gives you hidayah & lead you to truth my friend
I have been working in algeria and to be honest I was not treated well there and developed a negative attitude towards muslims. This video has shown me a new view and challenged me to open my views towards muslims and that they are not all like the people I met. Thank you Rosie.
Duke Colby oman is a poor country with low Gpd compering to nehibors gulf states like Qatar, UAE And Saudi with that being said The omani are very generous, happy And kind to others.
Glad to see you share this personal experience with people out there. Generally muslims are like this, just like all of you too. But some cultural indifferences, thoughts, make people difficult to understand bcoz they never know until they experience by themselves. Media can make thing worst. Take care while riding... You are a strong woman.
Rosie I’m from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 but I’m so happy to see a Western girl traveling in Muslims countries and explaining how we live in peace all the times
Omani people are very simple and not arrogant like in EAU and Saudi , Kuwait and Bahrain I think there are bit stupid . So I prefer Oman :-) . Very peaceful , very friendly people .

rosie, enjoyed your video & i have to agree w/the man, you are a brave young woman & also i admire the fact you know what you want to do & you do it!!.....A salam malekem...safe journeys! that was very kind of them to offer you breakfast!!
Another awesome video, Rosie. I've traveled all around the world (not in fancy hotels or resorts...) and indeed some of the very best hospitality I've encountered was in the Middle-East, often with very modest folks I couldn't even communicate with other than with gestures and big smiles. I humbly believe that the issue of hatred and violence isn't about religions or creeds certainly. It may not even be about education, even if it does help. I've observed that most people are just nice, but a few aren't so nice. There are bigot and hateful people everywhere, including among those who are educated and should know better. Now the difference may be in group dynamic where a type of behavior becomes "normal" and "accepted". The less historically, socially and culturally evolved a society, or a segment of society is, the more being a mean, sad ass is going to be viewed as normal, and bad, racist and intolerant behaviors are going to be accepted. It's really about living in the 12th or the 21st century, but the actual time or geography we live in is irrelevant unfortunately. You can live in the 21st century but it's possible that your neighbor lives in the 12th century. Who's in the ruling majority makes the whole difference. Hey, good for you to dare feature a Middle-Eastern public restroom. This one was fairly mild compared to others I've seen (swimming pool of pee in North Yemen, or a cave seemingly carved out of a mountain of doodoo in Southern Iraq...). That's one very jarring "cultural difference" for sure. And as to wheat, I am Celiac: eating industrial wheat in the West sends me straight to... the bathroom precisely... But I had to eat wheat products in Italy and throughout the Middle-East and I came to realize that natural wheat harvested the old-fashioned way where the cut and bundled wheat stays on the fields for days, even weeks where it gets a chance to break down and become more digestible, doesn't affect me at all. It doesn't destroy my bowels. Have you tried to see if you experience a difference with industrial wheat ??? Thanks for all these great videos, Rosie. Good luck and ride safe always.
interesting to know about the wheat. yes its very challenging most places I travel, especially since I was also vegan for 2 years ! now, I'm not full vegan. I've never tried wheat products in other counties that are harvested differently, I'll have to try that out !
but this people is educated from islam , really it s a beautifull religion, the terrorist have other religion nothing to do with islam who speak about help the strangers or travelers, to smile to people who dont know and say salam mean peace who say that if you give and you be generous is like you do a credit to god and god will give u much better, a lot beautifull things like this in islam
"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)." Chapter (49) sūrat l-ḥujurāt (The Dwellings) verse 13
You have done a good job. If you don't travel around the world, you don't realize how good the Muslim people are. Now you have seen everything with your own eyes after Ashar. Thank you sister
Another way to place your hair where it will be more manageable; make a single pony tail and then place a few other hair bands down the ponytail evenly spaced apart. I used to do this when I had long hair. It works really well. (only if you don't feel like braiding your hair),
Can i ask just one question without getting bombarded :) Where are their wife's? Wouldn't it be nice to thank them in person for all the work they did?
yes, you caught me, I'm hiding something... WTF... no, its their culture, the wife requested that I didn't show her face on camera. I respected her wishes. and of course I thanked her in person for the meal, what kind of person do you think I am. I hope by watching my videos you would have learnt that by now.
Rosie Gabrielle i said without being bombarded :D don't get me wrong. The meal loked awsome and some of us as you see mised the cook. For me it was strange how you only had a talk with a man and there was no woman to be seen. Can you blame me after all the propaganda, i just don't know who wants to decive me and who wants to open my eyes. That's a big reason i watch your videos and because you ride a klr ;)

mzimmerman12 i would say maybe a bit of both.not everyone hates so strongly as that 20%.i seen a clip of good muslims making a circle to protect jews from some angry muslims protesting.problem is that 20% you speak of may be growing.
mzimmerman12 the Horrific acts of 20% .!!!!
Simple as that
Derrick Murphy Derrick don’t get taken by this 20% myth. ISIS and the likes don’t count 1% of the Muslim population. !
Allah open your mind for accept the relegion of peace ...hospitility and respect and the true way of life
May Allah guide her
Fuck Allha , Who destroyed so many people
She is Muslim now MashaAllah 😍
Leyla Ali Ameen ❤️
@Ahmad Raza hi
Hey Rosie the sunsets are spectacular - thanks for sharing. Take care, John here in Winnipeg
Younis and Yousuf.. my neighbors haha. Good video!
As salaam u Alaikum Br. Saqri. I lived in Lexington KY. Do you know when Br. Younus or Yousuf were in Lexington KY?
Lucky guy 😁
Really
Muslim didnt hate America, just hate racism act there by some people
yes
Thanks again Rosie, I'm seeing things that I would never have a chance to see other wise. Great job as usual.
Kareem
The brothers were very hospitable indeed.
Idaho Rider Hi. i actually live and work in masirah, the place where rosie had the accident. and the brothers are my friends in real life. everyone in this country is a copy of salman and his brother. i really love being here. only becausr of the hospitability and kindness of omani people.
Watching ur vdeo about Oman, make me feel excited to visit this country if I have a chance..thanks fr the vdeo Rosie...its makes my day..😊
العمانيين شعب يرفع الراس ..احترامي لكم جميعا
Respect to the Omani People you honor us all
Thanks for taking us along to meet the people. No surprises, but certainly a lot of fear of Muslims here in the U.S. Everyone I've met, OTOH, has been exceptionally nice, including the Palestinian clerk at a nearby grocery that insist on shaking my hand every time I visit.
Heck, I wouldn't want to do that here.....
Great video on so many levels, the brothers showed great hospitality. You are one intrepid traveler ! All power to Rosie :-)
that food looked great
Its the breakfasts
إللي من عمان أو الخليج لايييك ❤️❤️❤️

Im from algeria in sahra.
Hi
Rosie, I enjoy watching your adventures and people you meet along the way. It restores my faith in humanity. Be safe.
Yup after 2 years there I put my t.v. in storage and never had one since. I loved Oman as well. I met great brothers in UAE as well. Awesomeness!
Love this.. im from INDONESIA 🇲🇨 bigger Moslem in the world ☕🙏
* Muslim 😊
if only i could put more thumbs on this one, i'd love to. safe ride, always! :)
These are great, you are awesome. I just wish you put the episode number in title. Just to make it easier to navigate them. Keep posting. I love it.
Matthew Guzek sorry Matthew, I do however include it in the video description. They also go in order from when I first posted them to now, so bottom of the list up. with just a couple random vids in between. Sorry for the confusion , I will change that
Love it your's vlog dear.
I am following many days with your's journey.
So beautifull pracentation.
Really hats off to you..what a gutsy lady you are......glad you are in a Muslim country, showing the world what is Islam & Muslims in reality are.....May Allah S.W.T gives you hidayah & lead you to truth my friend
Another great video: wonderful scenery, learned a bunch, funny and entertaining. Good stuff.
I love your attitude and direction
These are very inspirational
Thank you
Cool music selection. Mellowed me out.
Ride well.
I have been working in algeria and to be honest I was not treated well there and developed a negative attitude towards muslims. This video has shown me a new view and challenged me to open my views towards muslims and that they are not all like the people I met. Thank you Rosie.
May sound bad but loved the bathroom part "DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!!!" and talking to yout self lol your dork in a good way. great video.
dsmmike95 every country in the world share the same problem. Bad public bathrooms😂
Love ❤️ to Pakistan. Love ❤️ for Rosie because she joined lslam now. Jazak Allah mashallah. Welcome to Pakistan and Islam.
Another great video I'm so thank full we live in Canada
Duke Colby oman is a poor country with low Gpd compering to nehibors gulf states like Qatar, UAE And Saudi with that being said The omani are very generous, happy And kind to others.
Maybe you misunderstood me I was reffering to the racism in the states not about oman
You are great, I salute you my dear sister
You are an amazing woman
Amazing traveler amazing adventures dare I say a most enjoyable upload by this special beautiful free spirited Canadian ...
Thanks Rosie ... you're doing great job ..... You're truth seeker and spreader.... Cheers
I love Oman, it's so much nicer than the UAE.
Kat yeah but most of people that live in UAE are indien workers not like oman when you only find local people
True
Kat جزاك الله خير
Omani people are very simple and not arrogant like in EAU and Saudi , Kuwait and Bahrain I think there are bit stupid . So I prefer Oman :-) . Very peaceful , very friendly people .
uae is disgusting, sooooo
Did you have a plan to ride to Indonesia? Lots of beautiful place to visit..
MashAllah good hospitality
12:45 get a Wrapter hair wrap, i got one for my wife and sister and they love them. Its like a fabric tube that stops your hair tangling on the bike from the wind.
god bless you amazing videos. thanks for teaching me how kind muslim,s are.i have seen the kindness and family values awesome thanks again. you take care. you are a teacher of life and love of man kind.
rosie, enjoyed your video & i have to agree w/the man, you are a brave young woman & also i admire the fact you know what you want to do & you do it!!.....A salam malekem...safe journeys! that was very kind of them to offer you breakfast!!

I realy love in your chanale👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hi beautiful sis. May Allah keep you protected in your beautiful journey. Thankyou for all that you do xxxxxx
العرب الطيبين
Great adventure sister, congratulations.
The problem has never been the people Rosie, the problem is politics mixed with a religion that can be and is very brutal.
Cap So true. Just look at Saudi Arabia
as in the u k
but this people is educated from islam , really it s a beautifull religion, the terrorist have other religion nothing to do with islam who speak about help the strangers or travelers, to smile to people who dont know and say salam mean peace who say that if you give and you be generous is like you do a credit to god and god will give u much better, a lot beautifull things like this in islam
"O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)."
Chapter (49) sūrat l-ḥujurāt (The Dwellings) verse 13
You have done a good job. If you don't travel around the world, you don't realize how good the Muslim people are. Now you have seen everything with your own eyes after Ashar. Thank you sister
Ahhh she's living my dreams.
Don’t be scared and start doing it to .. start by discovering ur region (maybe with a friend of yours) for starting ..!!
A believing woman doing it by herself like this would not be encouraged in Islam. Do it with a man who's your mahram
Incredible experiences. You've met some amazing people in your travels.
NOTIFICATION SQUAD?! Where you at?! :D
well done :) I'm back home in Canada now ;)
SQUAD MEMBER HERE! :)
Rosie Gabrielle my mum's in Canada 😀❤ she's loving it, we are from UK. she would be inspired by u
Mormert hello
Major Tom I did,,, I was there for 6 months !
Gasper Erjavec haha I was thinking the same. I think the wife dont want to be shown on camera. something that have to do with theire culture. i think
H Assendelft Maybe. I hope Rosie explains it because if not it kind of makes her look bad as she is hiding something.
yes, you caught me, I'm hiding something... WTF... no, its their culture, the wife requested that I didn't show her face on camera.
Rosie Gabrielle You are very open minded, I wish there were more people like you.
love and peace to you ;)
