I cannot express enough just how much this moment means to me for this project to finally be reality. You're all the most incredible, supportive and very patient people for putting up with my shit for 9.5 years since this Ratchet business began. I thank you for sticking with me through the thick of it and I just need you all to know, I gave it my all. This video is a celebration for me, but it's a celebration of YOU! 💜 Cheers and I hope it was worth the wait, have a great fucking day! -Jak

Yo man! 😂 I didn’t know you were a fellow square eyed jak fan. And yeah I thought that sounded a bit low at first but I feel like he may just be leaving room to be improved with the sequels.
Oh hey, that's my voice at the start! Thank you so much Jak, it's an honor to be a part of such a special video! You've inspired me to do my own thing so I thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
I was a bit shocked when you said you didn't like Captain Qwark. To me, he's one of, if not, the funniest characters in the game. He's like if Kronk from Emperor's New Groove was a douche. His voice actor made the character and a lot of his jokes even more enjoyable to watch
Congrats on 200 episodes! Getting the whole trilogy reviewed this month is a huge surprise! Thanks for the early Christmas gift! I absolutely love ratchet and clank, it's my favorite series of the holy triangle of the PS2 so I'm excited to see what you have to say about the next two.

Incredible review Jak! A long time coming and you absolutely killed it. After 199 episodes I expect no less from the Squareeyed one. Congratulations on the milestone buddy!
Finally, finally, finally. I've been waiting for this since the beginning. I'm glad you finally did it. My first experience with Ratchet and Clank was on a Jam pack Disk where the only levels available were Metropolis on Kerwan and Blackwater City on Rilgar... Bro, me and my neighbors spent hours trying to beat the sewer level on Rilgar. I'm currently playing through every single game to make my way up to Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart.

This is huge for the channel congrats jak I feel like I’ve commented to review the ratchet trilogy for years now n here we are, once again CONGRATS n TOOK YA LONG ENOUGH 😜
I'm happy Jak got to finally end a long running gag for his review series, by actually reviewing Ratchet and Clank, not only that but doing the original three games making episode 200 a three parter, I'm happy Jak likes the PS2 classic and finally understands why the RYNO kicks ass.
Can't believe Jak got John Ratchet and Clank after getting John Croc: Legend of the Gobbos. Excellent video Jak, your videos always have so much care put into them. Excited to see the rest of the Ratchet trilogy videos.
Congrats on reaching 200 episodes, and on FINALLY giving R&C a try! It's great to be a part of this (my voice at 0:27)! Thanks for the great content, keep it coming! PS: so many hilarious moments during the intro! Congrats to everyone who showed up as well!

Hell! Yes! It has all led to this moment, and the final result is an awesome one to say the very least! The way you not only professionally pick apart aspects of the game, but also shed a bright light to all the good stuff shows how far you've come, and how this review... was pretty much created at the perfect time of your continuous improvement. I'm happy for your milestone, Jak, and I'm also happy to lend my own voice too! (0:31)
Man, disappointed I didn't end up submitting a clip 😅 It's been freakin' FOREVER since we've started begging for you to review Ratchet & Clank, and oh you're doing all 3 right now (just got to that part towards the end haha) AWESOME. Can't wait to see how Ratchet 2 goes for ya, I can definitely see the Ratchet 3 vid already... It was very similar to Jak 3 from memory (the scope seemed about on par or even greater than the 2nd entry but as you got further in it was clear that Time constraints led it to having a kinda "Unfinished" feeling... Also I believe Ratchet 2/3 on that PS3 HD Collection have a ton more texture and graphical issues/bugs, definitely the weakest "HD Trilogy" out of Itself, Jak & Sly)
Holy damn, 200 episodes? That is a monumental task and now it all pays off in the end! From the crash bandicoot days in 2014, to your PlayStation move heroes review in 2018, and now the long awaited R&C review we always wanted to see! Thanks jak for 200 episodes and the memories from the beginning. Cheers!🎉
On this day, history has been made. Rewritten. The ways of our mortal realm unravel before our very eyes. The laws of time and space lay shattered, and Ratchet and Clank reviewed.
Heck yeah! One of my favorite series. The Taunter shouldn’t be considered a weapon but a gadget for breaking crates. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the lack of strafing. The mine glove is only useful in the fight against Drek in my opinion.
After 10 years, you finally have gotten around to the Ratchet & Clank series, it's about bloody time! Haha joking aside, it's awesome to see you finally get around to talking about the series and it was worth the wait. I can understand now why you didn't talk about the game since you personally didn't grow up with it per say like you did with Jak & Daxter and that's totally udnerstandable. Personally I started off with Ratchet & Clank and I was more or less glued to the first game and especially Going Commando before making my way to Jak through Jak , yeah my history with these two franchises is weird since I technically came in during their sequel installments right before their third games released. Point is, II totally undersand the situation as I was like that with Sly Cooper and didn't play those games until I was like 20-21 i Anyway on Ratchet & Clank 2002, I have way too many fond memories of this game and it's always a nostalgia blast for me taking me back to the summer of 2003 and finishing it in 2004 (including when I was being bad and skipping some days of school to play the game lmao). This game was truly something special, it inspired me to go even further with my own drawing & art so I owe the series, especially the first 3 games a lot to my continuation of my art journey. I also loved the music in this game, David Bergeaud is an amazing composer! And while the OSTs for the later 2 games have more action-packed songs the really get the adrenaline pumping, I still think the OST in this game is the best one of the three because I love how experimental it is with how it played around with techno, electronic, (some) industrial, and funk, it's such a nice smorgasbord of sounds. Though make no mistake, the trilogy + Deadlocked have amazing soundtracks and I do prefer them all compared to the OSTs that would come in the next generation of R&C. And I so feel that on the ifnal level, it really isaa ha hell of a challenge and yep, you'll more than likely spam the visibomb gun a lot here. I still remember feeling so tense making my way through the level as a kid sweating just what was around the corner. And the n the final boss battle, epic to say the least lol. As for the R.Y.N.O. I didn't get it until ab out my third playrhrough of the game many years ago and I did it the old fashioned way as I had no idea about that cheat lol. So. Many. Hoverboard. Races. My god, never again even if the weapon is honestly pretty boss. I think the appeal really was for kids who could see just how overpowered the weapon was and 15 year old me was entertained but yeah, once you get it it can take the fun away when you can cheese through everything so I really don't use it much when I replay the game. All in all, this was amazing and even though I'd probably give the game a higher score (yes, my nostalgia bias cannot be contained with this one lol), it was well worth the wait and I look forward to the next one! Happy 200th! (And also thanks for the inclusion at 29:01 , apologies again for submitting it so late! 😅)
Glad you finally tasted how good that game is. Back in the day I played the demobut had to wait until '04 to play it properly. Ratchet 3 is my favourite of the early trilogy.
I got this game bundled with my PS2 one Christmas and I really loved it, my mom never allowed me to play m rated games so I was allowed to play this one and it changed my life on a way. I remember I had a bad fever and I played this game and it just felt surreal and amazing, still have for this one
I honestly thought you had already reviewed those at some point, not gonna lie! I'm a fairly new sub. That being said, 200 episodes of games, many of which being from the PS2 era, for around a decade, and you haven't even touched the Ratchet and Clank series? ...well to be fair, outta the whole series, I only ever played Secret Agent Clank, much to my dismay, so y'know.
Hey! It was a lovely review! 🧡 One that many of us will keep close to our hearts! I loved the addition of Ratchet (and Clank)! I couldn't have imagine a more memorable pizazz!😁 I knew that the longer we wait, the better of quality we would get! Not just as a video output or an edit, but as a more objective and better judgment of the product that was presented to us. ✨🙌🏻 I loved the flashback scenes of younger you. 💚 Following you for that long made me feel like we really are in the future! O.o Oh, and that scoring scene!! New one mixed with the old one??? CHEF'S KISS!! 🤩👏🏻 It is an honour and a relief to finally see this day! Also, thank you for including me on your intro! I'm glad that my pun worked out! 😁 Much love and relieving light! ✨🤗✨
22:39 It was weird seeing the Nanomite upgrades for weapons not exist in the first game and instead having to upgrade them with Gold Bolts. I mainly started playing this game with the second entry onwards.
1:59 hey, that someone looks kinda familiar but, in all seriousness, Thank you for giving me this opportunity to be in the Video, , Jak I always have loved your videos ever since the Hawktober series
Hell yeah! Going Commando is my favorite Ratchet and Clank game! (Ratchet: Deadlocked/Gladiator is my second favorite game in the series). I hope You'll cover Deadlocked/Gladiator eventually!
2:32 It's me...again, great to cameo once again for you Jak, and if the chance comes up again, hopefully it's not something I spend an hour trying to find a copy of in my room for only to find it was in another room altogether. As New Game+ modes, I'd say it depends on your game, Resident Evil and Silent Hill always gave you extra but optional weapons that you can ignore if you want so you can have the plain experience still, but the fun comes from using those weapons to deal with enemies where before, it was use resources or try and evade the danger before it kills you, the rest of the game isn't changed otherwise. Where something like the Lego games with it's Free Play modes, they can feel pointless because at most, you're just going back to get the collectables you can't get in the regular version of the level because it doesn't give you the characters to get those items to simply encourage replaying, like Lego Star Wars having items which only move or activate with a Sith character like Darth Vader, or a Bounty Hunter like Boba Fett being needed to blow up a metallic object with a thermal detonator, or even needing both because they unlock areas locked off otherwise.
When it comes to the RYNO, it is something i enjoyed using a LOT when I was a kid. Because back then, I would usually get a new game every month or two. So, spending time grinding for the RYNO and then using it on the final boss, or new game + felt like a lot of fun back then!
29:08 Ey! There I am! Glad I could make the video after all! And congrats on 200 episodes! But yup, you ain't done with the game(s) yet. Get to the first trilogy first. Until then, have a great fucking day! Cheers to 200, and here's to 200 more!

16:28 Its much more efficient to repeat the Giant Clank section in Quartu a bunch of times you can earn over 3.000 bots per minute.
You can do this glitch earlier since quartu is basically almost at the end of the game
@alex_-yz9to Yes, but it takes you less time to get to Quartu than doing this glitch xD
Its refreshing as you are playing this without playing the later ones so have no comparison. What id give to play this fame for the first time again.
Oh gods, the moment that music started playing as you insert the CD....I want to be 8 again, playing this and just...that music hits so hard

i seen him review others games throughout the years but i never thought of him ever reviewing this iconic franchise
Congrats on 200 episodes Jak. Here's to another 200!
Cheers mate!
1:59 hey, that someone looks kinda familiar
but, in all seriousness, Thank you for giving me this opportunity to be in the Video, , Jak
I always have loved your videos ever since the Hawktober series
Hell yeah! Going Commando is my favorite Ratchet and Clank game! (Ratchet: Deadlocked/Gladiator is my second favorite game in the series). I hope You'll cover Deadlocked/Gladiator eventually!
Surreal seeing you reviewing this, nevertheless cheers on going strong with this channel mate!
AWESOME VIDEO DUDE
When it comes to the RYNO, it is something i enjoyed using a LOT when I was a kid.
Because back then, I would usually get a new game every month or two.
So, spending time grinding for the RYNO and then using it on the final boss, or new game + felt like a lot of fun back then!
29:08 Ey! There I am! Glad I could make the video after all! And congrats on 200 episodes! But yup, you ain't done with the game(s) yet. Get to the first trilogy first.
Until then, have a great fucking day! Cheers to 200, and here's to 200 more!
Hell yeah ratchet 3 is my fav can’t wait for the next parts
Finally! My man finally reviewed the game we’ve all been wanting to do!
Congrats!
Hey congrats on the milestone been watching since 2015.
