I felt that way about running because I’m so bad at it. However, during lockdown there was no gym and I did the couch to 5km and now I love it and prefer it over the gym! My top tip for starting to run is little and often! For me running like 1km a week 2x a week and building it up really helped my endurance and it got easier over time. Oh but also if you stop for a few weeks you have to build it up again I’ve found 😂😂
I totally agree with you about the couch to 5K! I did that during lockdown too and eventually, when I finished the couch to 5K, I started using the audio but started timing myself to see if I could run further in 30 minutes/run 5k in less than 30 minutes. I was NEVER a runner and I'm still not but I helped me to get into running. It's what you make of it ❤
I used to think the same about running...I just couldn't do it. But I found a way...I think the key for me was really slow and steady...it took me ages to build up but I love it. I also adore 5k and 10k races...I don't do it to be competitive but just as a challenge for myself...I pretty much always finish last but I don't care its so fantastic. Its such a great way to destress and get out of your head 💖
As a business owner I can totally relate to no time off 😩 because your income is completely reliant on yourself it’s hard to take some true downtime 🙈 I’ve just moved to a three bedroom house (from a apartment) and really struggled to keep it tidy and the best tip I’ve heard is “touch something once”, so when you pick it up, don’t just move it, put it back where it belongs. Sounds stupid and simple but it really works 🥰 ps love your videos as always and would love 2 a week!!! 😊 pps if you are looking for our own car I fully recommend a Porsche Macan, I bought one a few months ago and they are so beautiful and a bit different from a range.

Similar to you i didn't go running because i felt i was bad at it, but today, many years later, i went for my first run and i loved it. It was refreshing and i followed a pace of 2 mins walking and 2 mins running for about 45 mins, that was a tip i found in order to your body to ger used to running again.

Probably is a bit rogue to have roasted celery. Have never tried, but shall be trying it now. I love roasted veg…and someone who was raised in the Uk I can remember dreaded cross country…and now I am a runner. But I started running with a marathon training group and they became friends. I like the social side of running. But not in secondary school, hated it back then
I can relate so much to the cross country thing. The PE teacher back in 92' would make me do 3 extra laps of the field and I was only a tiny thing back then. Was a massive field aswell. It was child cruelty to be honest but hey oh Joe Dispensa would say forget it it's in the past 😢🤷♀️
Bad Sisters on Apple TV is great. Do try running. I started last March and am running a half marathon in April. Its addictive and really helps mental and physical health. I am in a running club and have met some lovely people. I never need yo run alone and its really social.
As for TV shows: you need to watch severance on apple tv, i binged 9 episodes in 2 days i literally could not stop watching. it’s a psychological thriller if you like those also started the last of us on HBO max, very good- there are 2 episodes out so far. it’s based on a video game ab a zombie apocalypse but it’s very big in the US right now as for the running thing, i have the same thoughts! long ago i used to run long distance track so i trained with the cross country team, and running came so naturally to them. i struggled and i was always in the back, but even then i could run a 6.40 min mile pace. now it would probably be double that because i don’t run, but i do think about getting into it from time to time. let us know if you try it, i may just join you
