      @LKRNCK of course he would be happy if var was in his favour. Just as Germany team probably was.
      It's not fair when a player is running optimal with arms swinging, as is a normal way to run and the ball hits his hand at 100 mph. He can't defend at his best with arms at the side while in full sprint. Var offside is ridiculous too. It's impossible for strikers to judge body parts by centimeters while trying to stay onside.

    The offside goal was an offside. Doesn’t matter by how much. Now that they have brought in the technology once you’re off you’re off. Penalty is a joke. As tight as that was, he's offside. If being offside by one centimeter still counts as onside we create a grey area, and where does that grey area begin and end?

The technology is now so precise that it is 100% certain that the Dane was offside when the ball was played and the goal was rightly disallowed. There is a censor in the ball that detects every movement of the ball and 12 cameras in the stadium that track the position of the ball and the players 50 times per second. This is a purely psychological perception thing. There is no difference judging between 1cm foot plus error or 5cm plus error. You just shift the discussion from "was it really offsite" to "was it really 5cm offsite to count"?
      And the second point still stands: If you don't trust the VAR, you can just respond: Well before people didn't trust the ref. And in decades of football/soccer there a gazillion examples where a ref did the wrong thing or seemed to have been bribed.

      It's a spectator sport. Stopping the game in its tracks for tiny margins like this which cannot be perceived by any human on the pitch is terrible.
      Besides the attacker can't eyeball a 2cm difference in the heat of the moment. It incentivizes the attacker to stay behind the defender by a large margin, to not get caught by 3cm.

    Does VR really make football fairer? I don't see it that way. As in this case, sometimes it's a matter of microseconds, but is the technology sufficiently precise? At what microsecond is a pass a pass? It used to be said “in doubt for the striker”! Of course there were often wrong decisions, but they were human and there were consequences for bad referees. Now it's getting pretty absurd, it's about the tip of the hair on the fingernail, which may have somehow touched the ball. All these video reviews take away some of the positive, emotional aspects of football, and that's a shame. Above all, how far do you want to push the technical game? I feel sorry for the Danes because they have clearly become victims of technology here.

    So we got the technology to tell if it’s a legal or illegal goal but we shouldn’t use it that way ? What are we supposed to do ? Say okay if it’s 1 cm we count the goal no matter it is offside and we can prove it ? Sound hella stupid to me cause you are playing for millions of dollars so we have to be 100% correct. And we are he only dislikes it cause Denmark couldn’t score a legal goal. They weren’t close to winning they could have condensed 7 goals.

    Id be more pissed off with the offside. Its ridiculous. Its not humanly possible for players to have the ability to keep onside by centimeters. They should bring back the one foot margin.
    I feel sry for Denmark 🇩🇰

      So next time the Dart WC, the players can just stand anywhere they want.
      I dont understand how someone cannot understand that sports is ALL about regarding the rules with no tolerance area.
      That would be playing around, not sports. Sports is competitive. "Oh they can't possibly..." oh yeah they can. Just stand a foot behind the last 2 players of the opposing team. No rule says you have to stand on the offside line.
      .

    • @ritchiebaxter627
      @ritchiebaxter627 4 месяца назад

      @ssm445 Darts is very slow paced. No good reason they can't follow the rules behind the line. Fifa have already played around with the margins. They made the margin smaller. Since it's a fast paced game then the margin should be bigger like it was before. 1 toe, 1 foot, 1 hands width, players can't cheat the systems still.
      Isn't offside to stop strikes having a unfair advantage or goal hanging? 1 toe or 1 foot is hardy a advantage

    • @ssm445
      @ssm445 4 месяца назад

      @ritchiebaxter627 🙄 can't you understanding that there HAS to be a fixed line. It doesn't matter if darts is slower or not. The player has to stay behind a line, period. If speed would matter, yeah, this tennis ball was just of an inch, let's say it was not outside, I mean, that was just a toes width...
      If you have a big toe, stay a toe behind. If this didn't give you an advantage, a toe behind will not give you a disadvantage.
      The rules are clear. There is no "roundabout", "circa" or "roughly" in that rule.

      @ssm445 @ssm445 Do you understand that the line was thicker at one point? It gave a little more room for error. It's been changed once and they can do it again.. For your information, many managers are asking for a review of var. No point badgering on about laws to me. I know the laws of the game and I know the laws of var have changed over time. So I'm saying they can do it again

      Regarding the offside ruling, Kasper Hjulmand is completely wrong!!! The technology is now so precise that it is 100% certain that the Dane was offside when the ball was played and the goal was rightly disallowed. There is a censor in the ball that detects every movement of the ball and 12 cameras in the stadium that track the position of the ball and the players 50 times per second. On the other hand, there is broad agreement that the "hand" rule must be changed.
