The paint and weathering are just perfect. There is A excellent balance between being subtle And bringing out the details at the same time.

So pleased to hear that. Thank you.
Tell me specifically what you would like to know re painting handles? Do you mean chipping them?
Let me know and I’ll do my best to address it for you 😎

Excellent outcome Clayton - it was even more impressive in the flesh at ScaleACT last weekend!! 😉This tutorial and your presentation at the show explain your techniques, the products and your process really well. Looking forward to your next series of tutorials ✈🛩😁 Lastly, thanks for taking the time to have a chat and look over my newbie 1/48 Panzer 38(t), it meant a lot and is/was very appreciated. Cheers.

The opening shots really showed off the disruptive urban cammo on this cat but the different colours really tested the weathering stages introducing other challenges.
I really think you brought the best out of this beast with the colours and textures you used.
Clayton you've really knocked this out of the park mate.
    Best wishes mate.

This was a master class Clayton! I am now in early 70’s and have returned to the hobby after around 55years ( I lost interest when I found that girls were far more deserving of my time I guess) and the amount of new products and techniques I found were overwhelming. My first few attempts at weathering my models of German AFV’s were a disaster, and the results almost made me quit again, and pay more attention to my long suffering wife.
However, with the help of master modellers like yourself and RUclips content, I have learned that ‘less is more’ as far as weathering is concerned. My latest models are a lot better because of the assistance, and guidance that I has been available to guys like myself over the last couple of years. I have not approached a build of modern armour as yet, but I agree that there are are some interesting subjects available to us now.
Anyway, I love your channel because you explain what you are doing in a way that guys like me can understand easily. I have to turn everything off at the bench now as ‘she who must be obeyed’ is calling. She has found my hiding spot, and sounds annoyed, so wish me luck. Keep the content coming my friend, and cheers for now. Coming dearest!

I love the Leopard 2 tanks. True, the 2A8 promises to be depressing. At the beginning of the nineties, 12.7 mm machine guns were no longer enough. 25-30 mm guns should be installed. Great work. Thanks to the author.
