Hi, I've just subcribed! I fell over your channel when looking for a Malizia Vetiver review. You are putting out great content on great classics, whereas others just put out one video after another about the thousands synthetic mess, talking sh*t like "compliment factor" and "ladies reactions". What I especially like in your videos is that you also refer to the accessories like after shaves, deodorants, body washes etc. Please upload more videos! Greetings, Dan
Don Dan hey glad you enjoyed the video sir ! Classics are my favorite and what i find most interesting in terms of scents. I have always like to pair the colognes with the other products to enhance the scent for sure. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I love me some Polo Green! That and Brut Faberge are the two scents from my childhood that I most relate to and enjoy, as they are what my dad regularly wore throughout the 80s and 90s. Brut is my go-to deodorant, and I'll be picking up some Polo Green--probably not for office use, but the weekend. I'd have to think twice and proceed with caution, using just a spray to start, before trying in the office.
Fidah that’s exactly how I felt when I finnally got around to trying it, it’s an amazing scent and I won’t be without it once those bottles are done. Thank you for watching and commenting dude !
Wow two decades and you have not finished it yet lol do you not like it ? Jk. That’s definitely a vintage bottle you have I’m sure it smells great and lasts a long time when you wear it. Thank you for watching and commenting Jim !
Ironically I slept on Polo Green for a very long time. Tried the classic match and it smelled like just a pinecone airfreshener to me. Well the REAL Polo Green just got here, It's extremely green, very much like a pine tree, very strong and rich smell. So far, I think this just might be the most masculine scent I've ever smelled. Thanks for the review.
I did a re-review of this close to Halloween of 2020, I have the classic match and i don’t think it’s that close, same realm but it has a much rougher burnt smell to it IMO, this is one where the vintage has a distinct difference in a part of the scent and that part is the first half, thankfully the dry downs are still close
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Mine came in a white box and said tester. Any opinions on Polo Green testers? This is my first bottle of it ever at 44 years old. This is the one that got me interested in colognes circa 1987. I asked a male waiter, "What are you wearing?" "Polo", he said. The rest is history. Still in my top ten favorites.
Vic Zampa Scents yes this has certainly stood the test of time I’m happy it’s still In Production and it’s current formation is awesome I think, I can only base my option of the older versions based on the after shave I own.
A friend of mine has that scent, and he told me that it is his favorite signature fragrance . He says it lasts all day, and projects really well for the first couple of hours. So to cut a long story short . You validated everything my friend said about Polo Green . Keep it up Sir .
Ahh finally. I have been waiting to see this review from you. Well done bro. This is such a great frag that is going 40+ years strong. The opening can be a bit harsh to those used to mall scents but the drydown is magic. Totally agree this scent is different than the rest of the line in terms of both strength and smell. You are cracking me up with your hatred for Polo Blue 😂. I like Polo Blue for a gym scent. Next review I’m waiting for is Aramis. Be well man.

I can’t do polo blue lol. I should review Aramis soon I do own it along with the aftershave. Thanks again for watching
What a great review! I’ve been wearing the green Polo for 40 rears now, and it just keeps getting better. It’s not rocket science to understand the newer fragrances don’t have that beastmode quality that even an edt had from the 80’s and 90’s. Scents were made to last back in those days. Hey man, great review. I've been wondering if you had this one. I had to laugh when you talked about how you came to this one late. I agree with you about the other Polo scents - very underwhelming. And yet, I think only of Polo Green when I think of Polo. This is my all-time favorite scent. I remember first smelling it back in the late 80s in high school. My goodness, this stuff could mask the scent of anything you wanted to hide! I think every guy in my school wore this stuff. The school must have reeked of Polo. Sadly, I've been disappointed with the recent reformulations. They still smell mostly like the older versions, but with poor performance. And yet, you seem to be getting good mileage out of your new one - awesome! Thanks again for another great review. I've basically stopped watching a lot of the well-known reviewers on RUclips, including those who occasionally review classics. Literally my introduction to fragrances beyond the aftershaves my dad wore. Still have difficulty believing that I had the balls to wear this in the 9th grade, but I'm pretty sure I never did more than 2 sprays. Beastly stuff back in the 90s.
bob saffron thank you for watching and commenting and for the recommendation, someone else recently recommended a scent by rogue to me I have to check them out !
Trascents definitely in strength for sure but I’d have to give PS fine cologne the credit for having a longer life span in terms of longevity but I think polo green has a better scent to it imo at least.
It reminds me Quorum by Puig altough Polo it's not such spacious, dimensional as Puig's scent. I feel densy pine forrest in it, and of course tobacco. Very masculine, but not so good as Quorum.
Marcin Kwiatkowski that’s interesting I’d have to say I feel the opposite and enjoy this much more than quarum and think it’s much higher quality which it is. Oh well agree to disagree lol regardless thank you so much for watching and commenting sir!

Armored Saint wow what a list, but definitely check out the Perry Ellis by Perry Ellis it’s one of my favorites! Thanks for sharing the list dude !
Will do. I feel I have to try that one and Aramis 900 now.
Armored Saint every tried aramis Tuscany ? I had it as a kid...took it from my dads bathroom cabinet lol I have never seen it since
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey I haven't tried any of the other Aramis besides the original 1965, which I am wearing now and might tomorrow at work. Knowing me, I'll change my mind by morning. With over 50 others to choose from.
Armored Saint fragrance fan problems
Lol
Great review buddy onr all kinds of reviews channel tfs
onr detailing news thanks for the support !
This is superb this says I play croquet at a country club American royalty ...I feel I need to rock this in a V-neck not (t-shirt) cardigan or a polo shirt ...I seriously have gotten 20 year olds compliment me every time I wear it that pine tar birch tobacco ..I use Nivea energize bodywash to enhance the pine note you can probably use your Pino Silvestre bodywash you got ...
Reed Thompson yeah this scent is really a classic, very masculine and deep, I Don like most of the other polo scents but this one has stood the test of time fo sure and never gets old
You would like Safari it's made in 1990 . And I still like Polo Sport 👍
Cool reviews bro..Thanks
Ste Vie thanks dude! And thank you for watching and commenting
I was wondering if you have ever done a review of Georgio Beverly Hills for men from Elizabeth Arden!
Patrick Odell I have smelled the latest formulation but it was a while ago and I do not own it. Not sure if I’m going to buy it or not just based on how many scents I have already, I need to go through some first lol
just got this perfume yesterday. 1 set 104USD
It’s a great scent and perfect for this time of year ! Enjoy man
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey thanks bro..great content as well
Literally my introduction to fragrances beyond the aftershaves my dad wore. Still have difficulty believing that I had the balls to wear this in the 9th grade, but I'm pretty sure I never did more than 2 sprays. Beastly stuff back in the 90s.
this one is special in that way, it really is such a great scent and it was everywhere back then from what i have been told, i love the scent
If you met a woman named Lauren, would you pronounce her name the same? 😆. Great fragrance.
Mikeaveli2682 lolll 😂😂 no probably not but that’s just how I have always heard it pronounced when speaking of the fragrance.
A real classic. Thanks for the review. Check out Mousse Illuminée by Rogue, which is Polo Green on steroids.
bob saffron thank you for watching and commenting and for the recommendation, someone else recently recommended a scent by rogue to me I have to check them out !
Compare this one to Paul Sebastian and things along that line
Trascents definitely in strength for sure but I’d have to give PS fine cologne the credit for having a longer life span in terms of longevity but I think polo green has a better scent to it imo at least.
Scents Of South Jersey ok Kool it is a great cologne
Trascents they both are great for sure !
it would be really great stuff but to me it has a burnt rubber smell to it underneath the top notes
Ahh I love this one it’s my scent of the day today actually lol
It reminds me Quorum by Puig altough Polo it's not such spacious, dimensional as Puig's scent. I feel densy pine forrest in it, and of course tobacco. Very masculine, but not so good as Quorum.
Marcin Kwiatkowski that’s interesting I’d have to say I feel the opposite and enjoy this much more than quarum and think it’s much higher quality which it is. Oh well agree to disagree lol regardless thank you so much for watching and commenting sir!
@@ScentsOfSouthJersey Well, people have a different taste :-) But I must emphasize that i know only the current formulation of Polo Green, and both: vintage and modern versions of Quorum.
You have a 4.2oz bottle, not 3.4oz. I believe it’s 118ml.
I think this fragrance smells like Christmas & Christmas trees
