We bought a new SoundBlaster for our IBM 386 around 1991 and this was the first game and tune we loaded up to hear it in full stereo sound! It was awesome! Now I can finally hear it another step up yet and it brings back the same feelings memories. Thank-You
@cliffordadamrumble6436 been replaying the game recently (picked up a copy at my local retro nerd shop) I had forgotten the level of pain the dam inflicted on 7 yo me. 31 now and I am still feeling it.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES: The game I love to hate and hate to love that can basically be summed up with "DIE IN THE FUCKING DAM." These days younger gamers would call this game broken and terrible but standards were different back then and we didn't know any better. Plus, for a lot of us, that probably was our weekend rental so we had to make it count. One way or another we were gonna figure this game out. To me it's not broken and terrible, it's quirky with a learning curve. AAAANYWAY... great cover tune, guys! :D
I cant even, this is perfection of a music of a game that for me in the childhood felt so darn fucking good. Hard as fuck as this game was, it was sooo entertaining
I was thinking to myself today about how bad ass the title screen music is to this game is. Then my next thought was "Hey I wonder if Vomitron put out a new album and covered it?" Today was a good day.
Had this game on my 486 using several 5" floppy disks (as in, the actually floppy ones). It was actually slightly different than the NES version, but doesn't matter cause you only get past the water level once every 3 tries lol. OMG I forgot about having to move and jump in a certain way to make sure you did the backflip vs the standing jump.
Man, this was my least favorite "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" game, but the music was totally on spot. You are delivering killer playing, great job :)
you guys really rock, you are the best band of covers ever keep doing this awesome badass goddamn work lol we love your work I hope you don't wait like the last album 6 years to make another disc :( I'll be waiting for the next track of this new album :D
No it wasnt. If youre good at it its over within 40 minutes, so to expand the game it had to be made a bit more difficult to keep people like you and me trying and dying. Its actually just about surviving the dam, the S part with all the sea weed and then get the pizza often at the next stage, head for next house with 2 buildings tightly together and stock up on scrolls and then its mostly smooth sailing from there.
@@timmoen1083 What did you play on, emulator? Has experienced almost 0 lag, and just push B as any turtle and you smash them right through like they arent even there. Play the game yourself and you will soon see how hard or easy it actually is, dont let other judge it for you and pictures dont do it justice, its an old game with old programming, it hasnt even heard of Demon Souls or Dark Souls. But if you wanna difficult game, then go for Ninja Gaiden
Dude! You are the king of retro NES Metal! My absolute favorite is Blaster Master Metal! You should seriously work with Kenji Sada, the creator of Blaster Master, If he ever decides to re-release a remaster of the game! You're music would make the game even more incredible!!!
Seriously. These days with save states maybe. That or you practice your ass off and demonstrate some real patience skills. Kinda like what Double Dragon requires.
I fucking love this game. Yeah, it's tough as nails. But there is nothing more satisfying than finally beating Shredder by slamming him in the face with Scrolls. This game deserves more love. Hell, if they could take some inspiration from it and create a spiritual sequel, that'd be awesome.
Look, you aren't doing yourself any favors calling the project Vomitron (gross), but I gotta say, this sounds glorious. Whoever is producing these, hats off. This is amazing work.
This compilation is probably the best video game soundtrack comp ive ever heard composed front to back, instrument to instrument.

It’s been 30 years and I still find myself every once in a while humming that underwater theme. It was the most tense part of the game.
You know, me too! I thought I was the only one. haha.
You know shit was getting real when the music on that level started speeding up and getting heavier.
I never could pass it. I always had to get my younger bro to beat it haha
@cliffordadamrumble6436 been replaying the game recently (picked up a copy at my local retro nerd shop) I had forgotten the level of pain the dam inflicted on 7 yo me. 31 now and I am still feeling it.
We were too young for this s*** or not enough jap
I love how they separated it in two parts, 1-The ones you remember, 2- The ones you are hearing first time.
Amazing. This sounds like what I always thought it should outside of the console. Love this.
Best game metal music maker still . Amazing production/playing/engineering. Just wow every song.
One of the best soundtracks in videogame history and you've done it perfect justice
This is fucking awesome. Also shows other musical sides of yours I haven’t yet seen.
It's appropriate you end this jam with the Water Dam theme... since no living person ever got past that without Game Genie.
Excellent mix!
You have my support
I WAS NEEDING THIS MY WHOLE LIFE
I JUST DIDN'T KNOW IT YET

This is the sickest remix I've seen in a while. Nicely done!
I cant even, this is perfection of a music of a game that for me in the childhood felt so darn fucking good. Hard as fuck as this game was, it was sooo entertaining

I've been waiting for you to do this track for years (the intro part)!! I play it too, but yours is just so good!
This is really awesome
I love you guys so much! So glad to hear your music again! Outstanding as always
THIS IS EPIC!
Great as always! Keep the good work guys!
Excellent !!
Damn, this is the best remix title I've ever heard. I've listened to a lot of midi and melody remixes, best ever.
I love this game. I loved the music (best NES MUSIC EVER imho). Love the Turtles, comics etc.
But this game was unreasonably difficult.
No it wasnt. If youre good at it its over within 40 minutes, so to expand the game it had to be made a bit more difficult to keep people like you and me trying and dying. “Smooth sailing”. So many enemies appear on screen at once that the game barely functions.

Ninja turtles was my 2nd NES game, I got it when I was 5 in 1990. I played on Nintendo like everyone else.
And yes, ninja garden was also insanely hard, my brother got it when I was around 5 or 6.
srsly the best soundtrack to the good old NES era, along with battletoads
"you have my support"
Stupid banana raincoat wearin bitch
@@andrewkramer4021 wait, you can just walk over it ?

I could never get past the underwater stage. I haven't tried since I was a kid and will look forward to try it again someday!
That was fucking awesome. Cover more tmnt nes music pleaseeee

Your stuff is so masterfully produced and kicks so much ass!
Would have loved to hear metal version of stage1 of the arcade version of the game.

@P Nis shut up piece of shit
How is it that NES TMNT managed to have completely different, but just as cool, music to the cartoon? Awesome covers. 🤘
Amazing!
I'd love to see Vomitron665 produce and publish a remixed version of both of the Golgo 13 Soundtracks, Top Secret Episode & The Mafat Conspiracy.
The title theme is so awesome
Look, you aren't doing yourself any favors calling the project Vomitron (gross), but I gotta say, this sounds glorious. Whoever is producing these, hats off. This is amazing work.
Why is there so little views of this video?!?! :o
RIGHT?! And who are the 6 douchebags that actually hit thumbs down?
The boss fight sequence feels like a lightning bolt came down and hit me directly on my dingus.
awesome
That damn dam! I can hear the seaweed after all these years...!
god damn this is the best ever
Fuuuuck this is my jam. When it started, I thought I was listening to stone cold crazy!
