Oh Wow!Spectacular !Luv everything about this orchid.Went to Krull Smith Friday.Had a small show but gorgeous orchids.I received a couple tips but it seemed like the vendors had different opinions.Having trouble w cattleya’s.Their fine I get a new growth and then the growth turns brown and dies.So frustrating.I think I might be getting water on the new growth.Thank you for sharing this beauty!😊
Thank you Diane. I’m slowing lately with buying orchids, I got too many I run out of shaded area after the hurricane broke off big branches plus winter is fast approaching. It’s hard to find an advice on caring for orchids suitable for your needs because there’s so many things to consider. I also have new growth that dies off. Yes, it’s very frustrating. It is also possible that the mother plant is not strong enough to continue new growth. Now that you mentioned this, it reminds me to water my plants with Epsom salt (Magnesium supplement) . I’m not very diligent of doing this. I just finished spraying yesterday for thrips. Buds are not forming because of it.💕
Thank you 🥰 . This is something new I think in the market , that they combined the 2 awarded species. I also have the regular schilleriana specie in mount that also bloomed this year. I might post it too for comparison. This one has a redder petals than the regular ones in my opinion. If yours is a mature plant, place it in a brighter light during winter so it will bloom on spring or summer time.😊💕
The peaceful sound from your pond and a beautiful orchid. Lovely. Thanks so much.🥰👏❤️
You’re very welcome 🤗💕
