Right! I feel as if they barely talked and got to know each other in s2. Most of their interactions consisted of them arguing and fighting. In s1, Daphne and Simon talked, they built a friendship, they flirted, and they fell in love and I could track it. It was so beautiful. I miss them. I’m so sad their characters have been written off the show now. 😢

Love maybe a fantastic, fabulous and exquisite feeling but....it is only for those "perfect people" in our society....and for those who are below average in beauty and do not have a high power accustomed with them or their family....it's still a castle in air....
I’ve watched season 1 three times and I’m sure I’ll watch it again. Beautiful story, actors were perfect for their roles. I missed Simon in season 2, but maybe he’ll visit in a later season. I loved season 2, but nobody can match Simon and Daphne.

i finishing watching the series finally after i had put it off for a year and it’s safe to say i loved it. it’s a real shame rege won’t be coming back to the show next season.
I enjoyed the first season. I bet it was a pain to do the big rain scene at the end of the series. I wonder how many times they had to do it? I bet at least twice. From her pov. Then his pov.

Phoebe is definitely returning. Rege has apparently left the show to pursue other opportunities - at least a few of which I hope involve him with his shirt off - but I'm sure he'd be willing to pop back in for a cameo. Word on the street is that the focus is shifting to Anthony and Kate, so I'm really looking forward to seeing their story on screen!

Two things that bothered me a little was that wedding ring. Where is the diamond and emerald ring that was in the book. Also Daphe confessed her love for Simon but Simon’s confessed like in the book was made several times. My favorite confession was when he said, “I love you so much it scares me sometimes”.

i think she just wanted to make sure if simon loved her or not, because he never expressed earlier. Also, she wanted to move on. Even though it was hard, but Simon was not expressing his feelings as well.
Simon didn't know how to Express love because he was not given love for most of his life and when daphne confronted him with love he didn't not know how to deal with her or the love she was offering him
In the book Simon said in another life, he would be on his knees begging for Daphne’s hand in marriage.
The book showed their characters more in depth. I wished the show would have let Simon confess as in the book, “ I love you so much it scares me sometime” And once he said he loved her ,he could not stop saying how much he loved her.
