ThatKiltedGuy and Vancouver Carpenter have good drywall/finishing repair videos. Typically, cut out old/damaged drywall leaving no 'fuzzy' paper, cut repair hole square, add wood backing everywhere there's old-to-new drywall, put screws in old and new, prefill gaps with 'hot mud'/quick-set mud (comes as powder, mix w/cold water), tape and finish with Plus 3 (add water and mix well--runnier mud for taping), sand with 180/220 grit, use stain blocking primer on any stains, drywall primer before 2 coats of paint. FibaFuse tape is best, but it's fiberglass and pricks your fingers. Use ONLY hot mud with mesh tape. I like paper. I hope this helps.
Concise, easy to follow and helpful. Thanks 👍👍
Nice video thanks. I usually charge a bit more and clean off the entire roof and reseal all corners
