    "Masculinity isn't toxic." Right wingers always say this. ALWAYS. There's a reason people use the phrase "toxic masculinity" and not "masculinity." How do they not see the obvious strawman in this argument? If masculinity was inherently bad, we'd just say "masculinity," without needing to specify a bad version. This isn't hard.

      I think of it like mushroom vs toxic mushroom. One is neutral/unspecified and the other has a negative modifier. Now I think about it there are plenty of things where people can understand how negative (and positive) modifiers work - but putting toxic in front of masculinity just makes some people's vision turn red.

      I think the same thing but It's possible that a lot of toxic traits are things that are positives to them. I mean, look at one of Candace Owens most recent greatest hits, keeping your emotions bottled up.

    Fight your fears - wear a dress
    Be respectful to women - as one
    Earn money - transitioning cost alot
    Be yourself - self explanatory
    Be strong play sports- but aren't you the people saying I can't. Oh well can't be masculine. Better be feminine and take my E.
    Most of that is just trying to survive in this world.

    Crying is healthy for you cleans your sight orbs and helps you release what you are feeling. And you can be masculine and still cry. I cry at the drop of a hat and I can still be as strong as I feel I need to be.

    Jake there is nothing toxic about doing whatever you can to discourage the broccoli haircut. I mean, most male hair "styles" are dull and/or goofy looking, but that one in particular seems like an intentional affront to aesthetics as a whole.

    Ok I want to know the target age demographic for PragerU Kids. The vocabulary they are using seems unfitting for "kids". Teens I guess, but I think teens would feel embarassed being fed videos from a channel labeled for kids.

      It's amazing how millions and millions of dollars are pumped into PragerU and this is the best they could come up with. Compare this with old educational shows like Bill Nye the Science Guy which had less of a budget and was still capable of being far more creative than this. Or take a look at that poor af excuse for a kids cartoon they made. Something tells me the guy behind their finances is using most of their money to fly to Epstein Island or something

    huh, now why does that sound familiar....
    I just don't understand the entire conceit of this video. "Toxic masculinity doesn't exist...but here's some healthy ways to be masculine without being a douche :D" genuinely, remove the first part and this _could_ be a liberal video (likely not a leftie video because most lefties by and large seem more keen on removing the idea that men have to be a particular way to be men, but my point stands)

    I love how prager U completely ignored how weird getting offended at all at people who ask you to stop making weird noises is. The only issue for them was optics. And then the woman who asked politely for the man to stop, they were like “lol. Women are mysterious creatures you have to be patient with.” Like bruh, the woman there wasn’t the problem. She was NORMAL. If you have to be “patient” with a polite request, YOU’RE the one with the problem

      Honestly I found this kinda hard to follow as an adult who decently politically engaged. Like men should be strong but not try to prove it? You should think for yourself but respect authority figures?
