4:17 As someone who uses Danza aspect a lot, I think it's more helpful than people realize. Especially in certain match ups.
Neith ults? Summon the clones and let them eat it.
Nu Wa summons minions? Summon your clones and keep them occupied.
Need to do an objective? Drop the 3, spawn 2 clones, and watch that thing melt at an alarming rate
Do I miss the CC at times? Absolutely
Is there a use for going with the clones? Absolutely to that too
I don't know how many times A sobek Yanked my clone lol
I agree, it's so fun using the clones. I didn't really use him much with cc even though it's good.
I second this. I made diamond as a carry using danza aspect. I absolutely love it. Theres alot of potential with it once you build into intelligence.
Little surprised on Danzas. I feel like the clones are a massive benefit. . Watching your clone get ulted instead of u is so much fun. Seeing an army of those little trash pandas is a W
it's the difference of experience and player imo... in plat and below they fall for it all the time, anything above you shouldn't be confused by it. The main issue I see is, people watch videos like this and take it as gospel, not considering that they are the type that would benefit from it while others wouldn't. Also, match type plays a huge role, his aspect in dual is kind of dumb, but in conq/assault it is quite useful.
I say give Danzu’s clones the ability to use on hit effects.
@ that’s fair. I think it’s ok for them to have some aspects that are just fun to. I been playin the morrigan a lot to and turning into our Danza when we have one and it’s hilarious
Ra and Hun Batz are the best examples of how you have to change scalings or base damage when giving them the aspect. Ra aspect needs to lose scaling on his 1 and 3, to keep it in the support or solo roles. Hun Batz should, IMO, lose almost all of his scaling on his 2 to make up for the stun. Just losing some base power from passive isn’t enough.
Guy from the smite server woah
A aoe stun on an assassin with a aoe cc ult makes no sense.
You can't balance it, even if it did no dmg it would be used.
@ I think you can balance it, you just have to bring it down to guardian or warrior levels of scaling and base damage. If you were to bring the down the scaling on his 2 to be anywhere from 15-20%, it would be a huge loss on damage (the current scaling is 40%)
@@marcmckenzie1983bingo. Batz has one of, if not the best team fight ult in the game. This being balanced by the fact it’s on a long cooldown and he doesn’t have hard cc in base kit. The stun is so powerful
It already goes from 95% strength scaling to 30% and it’s still objectively better. The damage isn’t the issue, if anything it should have that bad scaling AND a cooldown increase, that stun is too potent.
Problem is that they suppose to be "play the game differently" type of thing, meanwhile in every single case aspect is objectively better or worse, so you taking them 100% of the time on some gods, and 0% of the time on others.
This makes 0 sense... Ofcourse you either take them or you dont... If you wanna stun people with a shield bash on Ares you pick aspect... If you wanna give your team an aura instead you dont pick it.
adcs with aspect make no sense for me in some cases. they are adcs with or without and some of them are broken
@@FrostBeam009 No, you are taking Ares Aspect in 100% of situations, or you are trolling. That's the problem. And don't argue. Stun + 100% chain hit chance > shitty aura. And it's with every single god with aspect.
@@FrostBeam009 yeah ares is way too op with that aspect both as a solo and guardian
That's the general point but you're exaggerating it a lot. There are plenty of aspects that are sometimes used but not always used.
With Cupids Aspect I 100% believe you should be able to attach a Heartbomb to an Ally god as well. That way you dont have to get your allies to dive in to get the bonus effects for heartbomb.
In my experience the danza aspect is great, because it feels like getting a taunt with your 2 is much harder than in smite 1, and i think the combat blink is partly to blame. The aspects can tank hits for you, confuse the enemy, tank camps and late they pull their weight
The danza clones blocking Neith ult feels so good lol
In my opinion, the biggest problem is that Hi-rez is working too hard to think about the aspects, because 3 aspects every 2 weeks and 1 god per week with a month that will release 4 brand new smite 2 gods, is just too much to think about good mechanics and especially with the number of bugs that need to be fixed with each new patch.
its fine tbh itll all just be fixed with time i like the beta feeling of random shit that doesnt HAVE to be used they could be completely ignored.
I dont agree that we should look at usage for aspects, we should look at winrate. Because if we have two equally balanced and fun aspects, but one of them is more supportive/hard to play, people will prefer the other one much more, and this is not a problem
we should look at both to be honest
I agree to a certain extent. Like Herc's aspect will naturally have lower usage because he's mainly a solo/jungle and rarely a support. But it's still useful to look at with proper context imo. Like Mordred aspect being 96% is clearly a problem and Loki's being 1% is also clearly a problem.
@@Inters3ctthe problem with loki is his is only usable if your in party and have communication with them. But most smite players are solo players so loki aspect is useless for most the player base.
Me and my bother have made use if loki accept and had great success with him on loki and me on another assassin or solo laner
@@sixsam6766 Even with parties and in pro play it sees almost no play. I'm glad you and your brother are doing well with it, but anyone can do well with something sometimes.
Aspects r the single best addition in smite 2 imo. However its just a mechanic where option a or option b is always better than the other, and it makes feel a little 1 dimensional.
Also equipping an aspect should change the ability descriptions in “gods” tab.
Geb aspect is neat and all but if they really want to make geb a more viable role outside of support they need to make fundamental changes to his shield. A couple of ideas would be to make geb shield function like a hou yi mark and be able to place it on an enemy, or a damage boost when placed on yourself, but loose out on the cc cleanse/ bonus health
Geb aspect is broken in Assault, I played him with support/bruiser items only several times and I was top damage and top mitigated without even trying
They NEED to make it so the aspect realllllyy hinders some parts of them but changes the kit to be strong in other example being like wayyy less base dmg and scaling but it can be used in support now like healing or peeling. Hun batz being the most blatant example of a aspect being so much better than the default, aspects need to be BIG changes that nerf some parts of them kid heavily but buff parts/change them to make them feel and play completely different.
I really hope a dev sees this, I’d like Thanatos’ aspect to work more like old Sevarog from paragon. You only get stacks when you kill enemies with your 3 soul reap. But in exchange for the added difficulty in getting the stacks you get 2-3 prots and 75-100 health per god kill and 1-2health per minion kill. This makes him play a bit differently as you will need to decide when to use your 3 for silence and damage, and when to use it to gain stacks.
Alternatively you can follow old sevarogs passive more closely making it so you gain health for every stack and at certain thresholds, say 50-150-300, you gain a large chunk of max health and a nice bit of prots. Extra when you hit 300 stacks. Minions give you 1 stack when you soul reap them. And gods give you 10-25 depending on what you think is balanced.
Please upvote this if you would like the devs to see this!
This is a VERY serious compliment here. You were my most watched RUclips channel last year according to my highlights & I’m so happy that you’ve taken off the goggles, and started being more critical of the game.
The current issue with the game can be summed up in 3 words IMO, “Lack of creativity.” The game is not a flop, but with the way the devs hyped up what they could with UE5, it’s starting to make me question their imagination at this point.
I think what aspects need to actually achieve the fantasy is to exaggerate more. Crazier advantages with MUCH MUCH crazier disadvantages. Something like straight up removing the strenght scaling on Hun Batz 2 for the aspect would not be relevant for the tank builds for which this was meant for to begin with and would be a justifiable trade off to have for an 8 SECOND COOLDOWN AOE STUN
I do enjoy the more crazy ones like Cern aspect for sure
Increase the cooldown drastically to guardian cc in smite 1. Application of the cc has more value than damage. Why do you think Athena posed a huge threat for 2 seasons back in 1?
Better yet! Why do you think yemoja is permabanned in all those special events like omnipotence?
And we all remember the release sphinx bauble times.
@isaacvitela5131 The problem is that the cc comes with damage on an assassin with the best team fight ult in the game. Athena and hemlja have great cc but they are also frontliners. They won't be hiding in the jungle to turn a fight because their team would just get run down without them.
@tb41406 yemoja isn't really built for frontline and is more effective as a backline.
And the aspect already reduces the damage, unless you are indicating the frequent use of it, then that is more of a reason to increase the cooldown.
Athena was a threat because of how often she was able to use the cc. Sure she only had one, but with how often and effective it can do. Damage is more of a 2nd thought.
ASPECT BELLONA NOT EXCITING? man hasn't build eros bow on her
I mean W key plus left mouse isn't terribly thrilling lol.
@@TheWoolyninja4 eros bow heals your teammates
It's insane really lol I just pop it on a little squishy dude and heal them
For Geb, I would say his aspect is quite strong in Duel, because it can be used very well for wave clearing and also long-distance poking, especially if you go bluestone as a starter item. His cd reduction per enemy hit is also quite good for Duel. I think aspects could also be considered in different gamemodes, like now Khepri and Athena are viable in Duel because of their aspects!
I think what they do now is set the base for the aspect system and later on when the game doesn’t get so many updates and addons the balance will come
Yeah, I definitely think there's a lot of stuff going on in the development of the game that's taking up a ton of time obviously. That's why we don't have things like hud editors and why the assault map is so rough. It's worth noting that this aspect system, along with the game is in beta. The game was so rough in the first alpha and has improved so much already that I have some level of faith that eventually when the time is appropriate balance will get better.
@@pfitz9346 hi-rez doing layoffs probably when they've known about Smite 2 for years is so annoying. They need to work DOUBLE time to catch up to the polish of Smite 1. Pulling this beta shit in 2025 when games like Marvel Rivals are a complete experience already is so fustrating.
@@hydra4370Marvel Rivals had an alpha and beta too, like all games do. Smite is currently in beta and they're not as big of a company as NetEase or blizzard
Don't be stupid
Loki's Aspect should change his ability 2, and bring back the old ability 2 that trapped the minions. It was very fun.
I think aspects are the best addition to smite 2, but they need nearly perfect execution for it to not be either game breaking or worse than the base kit. Even stuff like Morri or mordred aspect are always picked over the base kit, not because its op, but due to how much better they are than the base kit
Aspects are an excuse on why they won’t rework gods. I’m calling it now that when they decide to nerf/buff they’re gonna use the aspect as the target. I really wish HiRez kept their word on anything. Not a single god has ever been rightfully changed, they say they’re gonna rework gods yet they are literally the exact same look at Loki and Anubis.
The only decent change they’ve made to gods is fixing Cupids model.
I think Aspect Khepri should lose the ability to ult anyone except himself, and the cooldown should be shortened significantly (20% shorter than base? Bring it closer to normal cooldowns) to make it so he's distinctively a damage khepri if you aspect, or an agressive frontline khep.
A simple fix for thana aspact is just make his bonus dmg scale of HIS health not enemies, that way it forces thanas to commit to a bruiser build to maximize the aspects
Hi rez really had a chance to make the support loki meme into reality and they fumbled it.
Aspects should shift the God's overall damage scaling and prot to fit the role the Aspect is trying to put them in. Not just the skill the Aspect changes.
As someone who likes playing Cupid. I feel like a good way to buff the aspect would be to allow heart bombs to stick to allies. Maybe give a heal/health shield when you're at max passive stacks? Though, that might be a bit much considering that the aspect already does a lot of stuff.
I think for Hirez couldve maybe brought back some old loki mechanic for nostalgia like adding a detonate to his agonizing visions that can be prefired and then done something weird to shift him like removing the extra damage in his passive in exchange for self healing. But to be honest as a solo player Im always looking for ways to bring gods into solo.
I'm really surprised they didn't give Loki back a taunt on his 2 at the cost of reduced damage on his other abilities to make him more viable in lane. Idk, feels like the obvious route to go for an aspect.
And then you look at that wack datamined Artemis aspect 😂😂😂 genuinely the worst aspect so far and would make her unplayable idk how they thought taking away her cc for a small heal on minions would be cool
It's for better clear basically, and sustain in lane.
I agree with almost everything, but I don't understand why are you saying that Mordred's aspect will always be better than his base kit. Not necessarily. Adjustments can be made to both the base kit and the aspect, the knockup is a strong CC, I think it can be balanced.
Always better based on what their design philosophy was/is. A cdr reduction rather than full reset on the dash works.
The base dash is a disrupt tool that Mordred really would need if you couldn't just combo or run down the opponent for free instead
Some random notes for readers of comments. Geb aspect in assault is HILARIOUS. Bacchus aspect+crit in jungle from a random the other day went SO hard. I'm afraid to try it
Hecate's Aspect needs some work imo
lategame come with a bit of cdr that thing has permanent uptime, so you basically just have 2 abilities and a passive yoy recast every 5 seconds
Oh and its beyond broken in non conq. Arena and Assault always have people castibg, so it racks up insane dmg and basically makes your whole squad
Aspect Hecate nearly won me a 4v5 in assault 😅
Not saying its right but did you ever play Hel in smite 1 lol. Smash the keyboard as fast as humanly possible.
@@TheWoolyninja4 oh absolutely! Got hel to Rank 8
Difference between Hel and Hecate? Hel needs to aim and/ or time her kit quite a bit. And her range is quite average for a mage
Hecate just presses 2 every time she can and you get punished for casting any ability in a range where no one else can hit you+ deal less dmg for your troubles
Its a badly designed aspect and i stand by that.
Would love to see Aphrodite Aspect where her heals don't scale but the birds stay on enemies +2 seconds. As a Zhong Kui main I would appreciate this as an alternative.
would love to see Aphrodite aspect where she gets fkn deleted from the game.
Thank you.
Obviously all rated based on conquest but if you ever roll Hecate in assault that aspect is basically a free win button
I’ve been having soooo much fun and some success with tanks support Vulcan using the aspect. Just running circles around people in the middle of the thumper, spamming abilities is so much fun. People expect Vulcan to be squishy, so surviving all that is dropped on him while the team cleans up is awesome.
This video got me thinking. It would be cool if we got seasonal aspects.
Abilities changing with the lore for example!
Let's say that ganesha turns evil with in the story, they his aspects gives him a more "evil" and aggressive playstyle.
I think the aspects are a great way to see if gods could benefit from reworks without just overhauling the god. Like with mordred if everyone uses the aspect then change him to that and give him something different.
Vulcans aspect:
I sat on solo for the first 9 mins without the need to go back, thumper's hp and mana regen are bs
I’m concerned that if they “go another direction” for loki aspect, they’ll give him back his smite 1 release 2 again, and we’ll once again be subject to loki s p l e e t p o o s h
Aspects add diversity and/ or just enable a buff to certain characters without the need to rework their entire kit.
Its a good mechanic and bad aspects are fine too.
I just don’t like how a good chunk of them are “same play style but now they support :0” and “same play style but now they jungle :0” imo I haven’t seen enough true shifts in play style besides role swapping to make me want to try gods i initially didn’t like before.
I'd rather aspects give different abilities all together instead of removing the effect of 1 ability and adding an effect for another.
Like give Zeus back his shield for an aspect, have an offensive shield ability and a defensive shield ability so he can be bulkier but sacrifice movement speed and attack power and go solo or support even.
I know Pokemon Unite is a bit too different compared to a typical MOBA experience, but so is Smite. But I love Unite's freedom to change your kit when you play, i.e., when you hit a level that lets you learn an ability, you can choose between 2 abilities to learn, so even if you know what Pokemon the opponent is gonna use, you don't know what their kit is gonna be.
They probably won't do this because it's too much work and few aspects are like this so they likely don't want to do this, but what aspects should do to truly change a god's role is just change an ability. Hecate Athena and Geb are close, with Athena or Hecate probably being the most different.
Cern aspect is a good example of why a new ability would need to happen, because Cern was originally designed as and balanced for years as a ranged AA hunter and you can't do something as little as what they did to change his role.
If I took Chiron and made his AA melee then gave his 3 refund that's not going to make him an assassin, it's just going ti make a nonsense kit with no flow to it.
Fen Supp is a cool idea but few guardians are designed with a cc that requires buildup and opportunity cost (spends runes), and an ability that's basically only damage and mispositions you (fen 3). All 3 Ymir's abilities have strong, immediate utility and even the 2 isn't just damage, it applies a powerful instant slow (unlike fen's stacking), his passive, and has some range and AoE. If they want Fen supp he needs a completely new Passive, 1, or 3.
They need to think of a kit in the context of the god being a Guardian (or other role), then add a Guardian-styled ability, and if they can't do that then it's too bad for the god and they shouldn't make a half-baked attempt like Cern.
Also, ras aspect is probably the best. U play ra as a dog character or go bruiser with him. Changing how his kit feels and allows you to turn with your ult to aim but you lose soon much more dmg.
Best aspect by far.
They depend on comp
If you're solo tanking as chaac and take the aspect, you need tonplay accordingly.
Got a guardian partner in joust? Perfect time to use the aspect.
A lot of them are comp dependent
Certain New Aspects and New Items have me concerned of bloat. I looked forward to Aspects to shake up gods playstyles/roles and Items to enforce clear tradeoffs that players have to make, but recent item changes have me worrying of item bloat returning, and as you said, some Aspects are so good there's no reason not to use them. It's supposed to be a clear trade off, not a buff you can't live without.
And we have a huge list of gods coming. Imagine the balancing on that
I think Danza's aspect should be reworked to focus on making him more INT focused. That would give players a true alternative to a normal STR hunter build and allow players to go all in on the decoys.
IMO aspects are less balanced because it feels like they’re not following a template of how much of a kit to change and how to change the kit in a neutral manner.
I personally wish they lean into more drastic changes for aspects and really flesh out the playstyle they want to implement. Aspects have the potential to be THE game-play feature of smite 2 if they give it more love. Being able to give a god a completely different playstyle while retaining part of the kit for their feel and fan love is amazing. if they can add some small model changes to hint at the intended playstyle along with some minor vfx changes and focusing on 1-2 significant kit change and 1 small change they could have the most fun gameplay addition that smites ever had.
Aspects done the right way imo would look more like danzaburo who has the function of his ability 2 completely changed. Compared to bacchus who only has a scaling swap. It’s night and day difference. You could literally play bacchus with and without aspect and not know which one is which because everything about him functions the same.
I hope they take some risks while smite 2 and aspects are still in infancy and go for more creative and meaningful gameplay changes rather than +1 number changes. Even though some of those strict number changes are good like Vulcan I would say thats more due to his +1 changes from his smite 1 to smite 2 kit with mods.
A handful of the aspects the team made to me feel like, what change can we make that takes the least amount of work to implement but still does something. While some aspects they clearly put more effort into. I wouldn’t even be mad if they went crazy and gave a full rework to a gods kit and called it an aspect. Considering smite is mythology based and every god has multiple facets to their power and stories, having aspects inspired by other aspects of their lore that weren’t used is such a goldmine.
Right now aspects are an incomplete system with no structure and lack that extra bit of care. Depending on how far they want to take this, aspects should be the best part of smite 2 and a genre defining feature.
Why couldn’t they just give Loki his taunt back and call it an aspect
cern aspect is actually rlly good u build like a bruiser bellona and u put the reaper somewhere in there it’s kind of broken
Solo cern with that aspect and bruiser is so fun
I disagree with the Athena aspect, i dont think there is a single situation where jumping on an enemy is better than protecting your teammate. Even playing her as an assassin in the jungle as i do. I would rather have a shield for a teammate to help them survive until i can come in to help them. athena has so much mobility catching an enemy after landing is never an issue. On top of all that, if you have a team that doesn't engage once you start your ult, you are not in danger and can juat move on throughout the map without getting collapsed on.
It's harder to use but there is merit to it and top players use it a fair bit. If you have wards everywhere you can catch an enemy out of position and blow them up before their team can help. Also makes split pushing practically unviable against it cause a damage Athena can usually blow up an ADC before they can respond, especially if their beads are down it's a free kill.
It's good because you don't have to rely on teammates.
Late game it becomes hard to use the ult to rejoin your team since you can't ult your teammate and the enemies can just melt you when grouped
Hun batz’ aspect is beyond a joke.
Respectfully, I'd have to say Hun Batz aspect is unworkable and needs scrapped. An assassin having an AOE stun on a low cd for a base ability is just not balanced in general.
I think they should increase the dash distance a bit on base Mordred and leave the aspect as is.
I’m loving the Pokémon diamond and Pearl soundtrack on a smite video! Two things I love; Pokémon and Smite! ❤
Hot take make old Loki's decoy an aspect and have base Loki be the debuffing damaging decoy
After playing with it, the biggest flaw with Fenrir's aspect is that it actively runs counter-intuitive to how Fenrir support is played. Don't get me wrong, the AoE Howl buff and slow on Brutalize are genuinely good, but losing so much damage in Brutalize is contrary to why Fenrir support sees so much use: as a high pressure kill lane. Losing all that damage also heavily hinders his ability to help clear wave and solo farm as you get into the mid-game.
Even looking at it from a numbers perspective, Fenrir looses more than he gains; the AoE Howl doesn't give his teammate enough power to make up for the damage he loses on Brutalize outside of very late game (which you make harder to get to due to such a cut to your farming efficiency) and the slow isn't nearly enough to matter.
Being forced to use Unchained for damage/clear instead also is counter intuitive for support because you're now being forced to use your only hard CC for minions/camps. While this also applies to someone like Geb, Fenrir also doesn't have the benefits of a large AoE that can still hit enemies and a Shield to use for peel.
what's even more fustrating is when the aspect is on by default for some fking reason, so you end up playing jungle fenrir with a support kit.
Long time player here this isn’t a negative I’m just curious. Do you ever worry the impact that your negative video titles have on newer players?
Love you videos even if I don’t agree with everything. Just curious if your influencing newer player in a negative way with these titles
Not particularly. The benefit of calling out bad stuff so it can be fixed makes the game better overall and will outweigh the few people who see a video title, don't click on it, and avoid the game because of just that.
Sobeks aspect make it one of the best jungles, no joke.
aspects are just a pointless feature which just makes it harder to balance around, there was no need to add them
I have the perfect aspect for Loki whenever he kills an enemy all allied gods appear as Loki to all enemy players
i think with aspect hires has this problem now of what should be an aspect and what should be a plus 1... like ra heal sticking to gods could have been a cool plus 1 it fits his kit so well too, but its stuck as an aspect now. The idea of aspect is pretty cool but i wish they did more then just change 1/2 abilities, like i dont get why hirez and some ppl are so afraid of a god changing too much, when the og god is right there and no one is taking them away lol
they want geb to be more a damage dealer? not only change his 2 but make his shield a ticking bomb that shields like 20% less and does not cleanse and explodes a bit latter! like go all the way hirez! they want gods to be played as any role but still are stuck in the "but what if ppl dont like it, we cant change too much" state... then why remove roles if you dont want to use that feature completely
Id like to see more drastic role shifts. Solo Support, Solo Jungle, Adc Mid, just dont feel very interesting. Depending on the state of the game balance, these role swaps happen naturally because the lines are already blurry. I want aspect to enable characters to go places they never would otherwise.
If you're playing assault or arena. Some of the aspects are really fun.
Think with the Hun Batz Aspect just tone it down to a Root rather than a Stun
So what I think they should with batz is take away the prot shred and replace it with a reduced damage inflicted debuff and/or weak anti heal debuff on the target for the Aspect version OR halve the cc duration and lower/remove the STT scaling
I think Batz Aspect is just unworkable tbh. Even if it removed the prot shred (a change that makes a lot of sense that I see brought up all the time) and removed almost all of the damage on the skill, aspect 2 would still be borderline the best skill in the game. Just being a huge AoE, unmissable, 5 second cd (with cdr items) stun is way too powerful. Maybe he'd move more into support or solo, but I still think he'd be broken there. And that's with the biggest reasonable nerfs you could put on it. You could like... nerf his 2 CD by 10 seconds if you take the aspect or something to make it more balanced, but I think that's a pretty unreasonable change. The aspect should just be scrapped instead.
I feel like danza should have had an aspect that makes him inti an intelligence based assassin out of jungle. Like they made a big deal about hiw he can build intelligence and get decent burst damage
I personally think aspects should have never been put in as this was almost always the outcome . Some are too good always picked , some are ass and will never get picked and some are balanced but is a must pick and is essectially the gods kit now .
A skill/rune tree like leagues would be much more intresting as aspects are too big of a task to balance especially when all the gods are in the game
Usage is an important thing to look at, but win rate should always be looked at with it.
For example high usage/low-average win rate often means amazing design and balance maybe underpowered. I think laceration khepri might fall here.
Another example is low usage /high win rate. The more counter picky options aren't often picked but when they are they win. I think cupids would fall here.
Idk maybe Anhur’s base kit is better for ability focused? Which is ridiculous because it’s never been super viable. But with the recent buffs to his ult maybe it slams with full power/pen
Get aspect with staff is hilarious though 😂 the dmg numbers in team fights
Imo mobas with scaling abilities is already harder to balance properly due to having more levers to manage.
In addition to that adding aspects which are very similar to dota facets. which almost instantly shifted balance badly when that game usually has good balance. Aspects are very ambitious for Smite even if they were in a spot where they could focus solely on stabilizing balance and not on god/aspect releases.
Not sure if Smite 2 Just happens to always put me against less good players, but I've had nothing but heavy success with Danza aspect jungle. Its really potent and has become one of my favorite junglers. Funny since I did not like Danza much in Smite 1.
Imagin having a rework aspec, so it is just a reg god rework (potential disabled for rank play) and see what design the community like more after a month or so
They keep releasing gods in incredibly broken state and it's very bad for the game. How can Hun have almost 70% winrate without them doing anything about it? It was the same with Aladin and it took them like 3 nerfs to bring him down, they will drive the players away before the game even picks up any steam, if that is even possible.
They could make mordreds aspect his base kit, and make an aspect that removes his dash but grants him like prot scaling on his ability damage (like bacchus)
bro is cooking with the khepri ult aspect idea
Theres talks that they are just going to make aspect mordred base mordred because its so much more fun and viable than base kit mordred
Vulcans aspect is AMAZING In support… I don’t understand how people are seeing things the way I do in smite lol. Maybe I should be a content creator.
I know your a conquest centric channel but your honestly just wrong on Loki (you’re right on conquest) but in joust it’s a legitimately fun ability change, keep the current one and give him another one later on imo.
With time and more god releases these aspects (will hopefully) fall in line as some gods will naturally counter some. Like is there a punk ass Mordred that you just cannot catch because of his aspect? Well don’t worry because here’s Artio to break his kneecaps backwards. Is this Hecate just tossing up her aspect enhanced 2 every four seconds? Well would you look at that here comes bakasaura to use just one ability and stab her in the chest with his max attack speed build. Is Aphro running the meta right now?(this is unrelated to aspects honestly) Well Cerberus is here to make sure that healing shit does not fly.
In general I think god releases should be prioritized far more than aspects, because as more gods come in there’ll be more options to see just how powerful these aspects might be especially among the meta gods whoever they’ll be
I dont understand why something that become fun has to be labeled as problem..i played against the "problematic picks" many times..and the times where they became op were cause my team was full of braideads..if u are at least cooedinated isnt so destructive..
Stop. Giving. Aspects. CC.
the issue to me is giving every god an aspect. not every god needs multiple playstyle.
It's not about "needing" another playstyle. It's about giving more options to a god, which is a good thing and is something that every god should have access to.
Include sobek aspect with Loki and Mordred I just felt nude and that I dropped the soap. Why the hell the push doesn't push gods the full way is dumb and awkward to use what the point on the 3 change? You heal barely anything and the reduction is barely noticable.
Its funny you put the least used aspect in well balanced lol
What % of use do you think is acceptable for an aspect?
Personally 50/50 I think is the wrong place for the aspect vs non aspect place
Also some of these I wonder if the aspects should be flipped. Mordred as example, I think the knock up has a place but it’s definitely what I consider a counter pick situation rather then always do it thing
I do like the idea of aspects but feel they haven't been done well and they came out too soon. I think their focus should be to get the game out with as much content as Smite 1 before they added a completely new system like that. I get that it is a way to draw people back in but its too much of a distraction. Also the fact that not everyone has one kind of shifts the favor for the ones that have it. Why play the same stuffy Zeus if you can completely throw people off by playing The Morrigan. I do think they could be a great addition but needed to be much later, its like setting in the skylights before having the roof built.
Where would you place Achilles, Sol and Ama's aspects that were recently shown off?
Also I would like to say this video near perfectly describes a point I've been trying to make (with a few disagreements like Ra aspect, I think it works and is fun but should reduce base damages a fair bit but add int scaling to his heals, so its not a strict upgrade for full tank and making "enchanter" Ra viable)
Currently I'd place Achilles' in well designed good balance and Sol's and Ama's in great design poor balance (I'm predicting Ama's will be busted and Sol's bad)
I actually haven't seen Sol and Ama, will have to check them out. Achilles I think is fine because he has an aspect built into his kit so it doesn't need to be crazy. In terms of Ra they could do a little bit more balance with it but Mid non-aspect int Ra is already more popular than Aspect Solo Ra so if they keep going with it, there's a chance the Aspect becomes unviable.
@@Inters3ct maybe they could buff Ra solo a bit with/without aspect, but my main problem is that it is supposed to turn Ra into a healer/support mage but just kinda... Doesn't, as you take it for solo Ra but no where else, because it's just better there but doesn't give enough benefits elsewhere
@@chickenmanphil I actually prefer ability-based Sol so I think the Aspect would be perfect for me specifically
Hey, so you just kinda stole my post from reddit and made it a video lol. Glad to see it.
ama aspect coming soon🤤👀
I would main loki aspect before playing sobek aspect tbh
1:05 you say that Anhurs aspect is better. But Zapman said he prefers the pen from the base kit since it’s better in the early game. Response?
I'm not an ADC main nor as good as Zap so likely he's right, I mainly said that because it gets used at a higher rate than his base kit does in Elite Ranked lobbies where the best players are playing to win.
@ :) love the vids boss keep it up
@ also, I’m just a casual viewer misinterpreting the wisdom passed down to me from on high. Who knows what the zap truly meant.
Very high level players just play a different game compared to most people.
What applies to them doesn't always apply to everyone else.
@@mekacrab yeah but the point he was making applies to everyone. The aspect doesn’t matter as much as pen until late game and most games don’t go late. So that applies to most games that f6 at 15
Pretty good list but i gotta disagree on sobeks man, it is just straight up bad, i think the idea is youd walk behind enemies in lane and push the towards your team but past that its a straight detriment, in any chase or fight. A better way to balance would maybe rework is ult and have it permanently stack damage instead of health, and maybe he could throw it like fizz, either way that aspect is a huge dissapointment as a sobek main and i hope they scrap it for something better
I still think smite 2 is the most unecessary game in hirez's repertoire of games. Couldve made a game adjacent to smite on a new engine without defecating on the old established title but instead we went forward with a sequel
Mordred making jt bis base kit and getting a new aspect is the way
Hecate aspect cant be counted as well-designed...
I think Anhur aspect is the worst design.
Its mostly just rushing the releases of aspects. Some of them are actually very easily fixed, others (stop adding cc) not so much.
Gonna make them burn out more on creating new heroes and abilities.
