I think it’s cool Whitney brought up her conversation with Jason, and mentioning he is a nice person. We all know we are analyzing teenagers, and it’s always good to remember that their portrayal in the show is not a reflection of who they are in real life, despite their problematic behavior (aka. Stephen!).
And Jason on the Hills New Beginnings comes across as someone who has matured a whole lot emotionally, he's been open about having had therapy and he seems to have gained a great lot of insight from it. So my opinion on Jason as a grown man is totally different to the boy he was on Laguna, and the young man on the Hills original seasons.
@@pizzakrydder2515 I agree. He seems to be doing well and loving the life he’s made with his wife and kids. I couldn’t imagine whatever he was going through as a teen while also playing the “bad” guy on TV. That’s a lot. I’m proud of him.

Yessss. It makes me a little sad how much Stephen is getting, because I know he’s a genuinely good person.
I think Whitney was spot on about Stephan being popular in High School but College not so much. He probably relied on LC, Kristen and the show for an Ego boost.
I think that was everyone though. I’ve seen interviews and they all were bullied or unpopular. People would laugh at them when they walked by and play the laguna beach theme song. The college people thought the cast was too good for them so they made them feel like shit. It happened to quite a few of them!
This is honestly everyone when they get to college. A lot of people hang onto to high school after that graduate like even if people pretend like they’re “popular” in college, they’re really not. It’s culture shock for sure like they expect college to either be the same as high school was or be even better when odds are, unless you buy your friends through Greek like, it’s probably not

I have always been amazed by Jason trying to live a sober life around all the parties and stuff while filming. Happy for him and his family to be moving somewhere new.

Timmy and Whit: I was a snowboard coach and instructor for 10 years and also skied when I was little. Here's my thoughts - Skiing is easier to learn right away and make it down the hill, but harder to progress technically and look good doing it. Snowboarding is harder to pick up right away (unless you've done other board sports), but once it clicks you can technically progress faster. So the learning curve is different for both. Either way multiple days on the hill in a row is what you need to make them click!
I agree!! For me I tried skiing first. I broke my leg on the third time trying. Once my leg healed I became a snow boarder...lol. Fun times!!!
Just had this discussion with my father in law today while we were out snowboarding and he was skiing. So true! Now I’m getting the hang of boarding it’s been easier to progress.
Fell waaaaay too many times on the snowboard. Frost bite and bruises. What a day.

Skiing: You will be up on your skiis and down the hill in no time! You will also be going so fast it will scare the hell outta you lol. Doing zigzags will save you!
Snowboarding: You will fall on your ass all day and he super soar from all the squatting you have to do. Leaning into it while you zig zag will help you build up your balance.
Jessica and Jason were calling & seeing each other all throughout the time he was with Alex M & all the way to the beginning of him & Lauren dating. You can hear the cast elude to it here & there throughout these sodes. So when Alex says she doesn’t think Jason really ever liked Jessica I think she was mistaken. Jessica was his constant until he got serious about Lauren.

11. The drinking games that could be played .( every time Jessica wears terry cloth, or juicy tracksuits. every time Nick rolls his eyes at Jessica, every time Joe Simpson is creepy, )

Siesta Key and Simple life are fine shows. Newlyweds is a game changer.

3. Jessica shopping with her mum and saying cute 500 times.
4. Jessica and the famous tuna-chicken of the sea comments.
5. Everytime Jessica says she has nausea.
6. Nick drinking beer and watching sports and then inviting his brother to drink beer and watch sports.
7. Jessica calling Nick in the huge mansion and him not hearing.
8. Jessica buying egyptian sheets and trying to wash them and Nick being annoyed she spend so much money.
9. Jessica burping nonstop.
10. The christmas episode where they visit both families. So hilarious.

This is just me, begging again, for Kell On Earth. You both lived in New York, Whit worked for Kelly, Tim does the best Kelly impression. It blends perfectly in with the series we have watched together!

I have a theory that the reason Stephen was so interested in whether or not Kristin and LC saw each other in Mammoth is bc he wanted to know if Kristin found out he saw LC the day after Valentine's Day. Talan found out at lunch with LC, but we never saw if he told Kristin or if production told her later. Not that Stephen seeing LC meant anything but one complaint Kristin always had for Stephen was that for everything he shared with Kristin, he always seemed to give LC a smaller version of it just to keep her strung along.
That actually makes a lot of sense. Otherwise, it made no sense to ask her about seeing Lauren.
Kristin said in an interview that production would make Stephen bring Lauren flowers which I think is kind of mean of production as Lauren thought the gesture was heartfelt but it wasn’t. Stephen was always 100% into Kristin but production forced the love triangle and as LC was really in to Stephen it was t hard to reel her into it.

The look on Whitney's face and hesitation to say something when Imelda walked in the room wearing a maid outfit. We all knew what she was thinking. We all knew.
I didn't even think about that but I know no matter how much money I had..I would feel weird having a housekeeper 24/7 to make me food etc. I would have someone to clean but it would be like two hours a week. NO way would I have someone in my home all the time like that. It would just make me feel awkward and wrong even though I guess if you pay enough it's not wrong.

Like they're a person and I'm a person and we're equal and I just wanna hang out with them. Then again, Casey's staff probably makes more than I do and gets benefits and cool perks so who knows?
I guess you could see it that way and I'm not so sure I could have someone work in my house like that either, but a lot of times those workers love it and they are so happy to have a job. I'm sure she's treated well and paid a good salary.
IDK about everyone virtue signalling about how having staff makes them 'feel weird'. Yes capitalism is a weird concept but you're paying someone for a service and in any capacity you should feel weird if you're abusing the system. Having a properly looked after housekeeper is not worse than buying cheap products made by exploited staff for instance

We all understand that this show was filmed when they were teenagers. The reactions are perfectly fine because we all are thinking it. We also should all be aware that they have grown up and are not the same people they were! This is entertaining.. I love it.

After Laguna Beach Season 3 please do Newport Harbour. It was like a Season 4 of Laguna Beach so to speak and it would complete the whole Laguna/Hills series. It was really good. Made In Chelsea is so good but it’s like 40 seasons and it’s still going lol😂😂😂. I would love to see Timmy’s reactions to Mark-Francis and Victoria though😂😂😂.

Let’s not forget that Whitney doesn’t remember her life on tv apparently. It was on The Hills after show and the Season One dvd extras, just like the LC house tour that was on the after show and Season One of Laguna Beach dvd extras. On Laguna Beach and The Hills all the cast members did house/car/shopping tours that were on the after shows and dvd extras. MTV Cribs was for actual celebrities (rappers/actors/athletes, etc) and their mansions (which we later found out that some of them were fake)😂😂😂not a reality star living in her parents house just showing her bedroom. No offense to Whitney though I’m just saying.

I realized I hadn’t watched season 2 of Laguna and was watching it alongside your reactions. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next, so I downloaded the season and now the storyline with Jason on The Hills makes so much sense! It's very Cavallari. The 1st season kind of dragged because she tried to make it more about the drama with her employees and the store but by the 3rd season it was more about her and Jay and her store. It was good I like it. I think it's on peacock

Are you going to do Newport Harbor (its filmed in Newport Beach) which came out after season 3 of Laguna Beach before The Hills, no remembers that show and then there was also 8th and Ocean that followed young models around in Miami that was also a spin off. Those would unlock so many memories for me hahahah
