Hey Phoebe. I've not been to Pumpkin but stayed 4 days at the Education Centre on North Keppel. Saw my first dugong right at Reef beach..Walked to the other side and was told and show the large Indigenous Middens. Snorkeling. Eating. Sleeping. Seeing Ocean Luminous Creatures on the beach at night . I didn't want to come back. Happy Travels. Where in the world Next. Seems you've been everywhere
@@travelforphoebe you can usually only access North Keppel cap ground and I'm sure it's very basic. I was lucky working at a school in the area to access where I did. It's off limits mostly as it's Qld Education Lease.

I was quite surprised to find on the Pumpkin Resort website that you can actually rent the whole island for less than $3,000 per night ! that's an amazing value when you think about it. I bought gold lotto ticket for next week so I should be able to make the reservation next week :)
I’m glad you say that cos I thought it was reasonable too! I thought it would be $10k per night or something. If it were a family holiday or something and everyone contributed, it’d be quite the surprisingly affordable getaway! I think each cottage can accomodate 4-6 people! P x
