I have installed them as usual over the smart gallery. But i cannot find any further files to install. The script is described as exe file. But there is no exe file. I have already a support ticket. But it is weekend. Maybe someone knows more?
@@andreriva768 Yes, it's being a common situation, because Reallusion has not still automatized the installation of the Python plug-ins, meaning you should manually install the plug-in. To do so, please, go to your order history and download the plug-in installer you'll find there. Execute the installer having iClone closed.When opening iClone again the plug-in should be in the plug-ins menu. Hope it will solve your case as it did with many others. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but there is nothing I can do to make the installation automatic, as it's up to Reallusion.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to install the Python Plugin for the "Nature Terrain Generator" pack - please manually download the Plugin installer from your Order list and execute it. After that, when you open iClone, you should find the "Nature Terrain Generator" plug-in in your iClone's top Menu "Plugins".

Please allow option for importing 8k textures closer to photo/film quality rather than just for games, I have my own library & hardware that I could use with it without issue. Would be cool if you could add a voxel landscape plugin and with the ability to paint wetness.

@@GameArtsCafe iClone would struggle managing 8K textures in most of cases. I think iClone is not a tool to create final cinematic quality renders. (At least at the moment). About the voxel landscape, we are limited by the current Reallusion Python API functions. It's evolving though, so in the future I hope we could expand our possibilities
@@antareusltd2974 I create 8k & 16k assets and use them in my projects, it's fine. Running RTX 2080 i7, 32 GB ram, 32 GB virtual memory.. Also iClone 8 apparently has some good optimizing features coming. I use Iray and even if not for film people want top stills for posters and other work.
I tried the program, the ground still lacks realism. I wonder why the floor is not in the Enreal, and the plants are like the one in Enreal. It will be in the lead if there is a good ground, more realistic, hopefully in version 8.

Actually, you can use your own textures in the tiles and the rock props. But keep in mind that the tiles need seamless textures to get a perfect connection. If you are able to create your own seamless textures with displacement maps, go ahead. Select any of the provided textures and after the terrain is edited substitute the textures by your own ones using the eyedropper and the bucket. Remember to link the materials to leave the graphic memory use under control.
@@antareusltd2974 Okay, now this is definitely interesting. If the tiling process works like in QM then this will open endless possibilities. Need to do some experimentations. Even if it doesn't as long as we can add textures then I'll probably find a way to make seamless tiling, I hope 😃.
@@Cola-42 If you don't add displacement maps in your textures the tiles will always join, but the aspect of the terrain will look "flat". You can change the color maps leaving my displacement maps, the textures will not match but you can obtain interesting results. The topology morphs are applied to the mesh, so in this case they will always work despite the texture maps.
@Dark King The rocks and morphable bases provided with the pack have optimized UV maps using one single island, so in those items you can just drag & drop your textures and they will work beautifully, if you don't tile the textures in the UV settings, the images used don't even need to be seamless.
I just bought it, installed it via smart gallery and all the textures and props are there. But I can't find the python script. The Menu under Plugins-Python Samples doesnt schow the Terrain Generator. Tried to find the script and launch it manually, but no luck so far. What am I missing?
Looks like they forgot the python script in the package. It is available separately, though, for another $19 as far as I remember. I bought it separately and it works fine. Does anyone know how to ask for a compensation. Guess I‘ll contact Reallusions Customer Support and ask them.
You have to install the script by hand. I do not own this script at the moment. But this is the case for all other scripts i use. They cannot be installed through the gallery.
Reallusion told me you have to do these steps... 1. Download the installer from your order history, then execute the installation. 2. Start the plugin from the menu: Plugins > Nature Terrain Generator Obviously you not have to pay extra for the plug in! Sorry for the inconvenience, but Reallusion manages the plug-in installations in this way.

You can toon shade in Iclone. Load the ground you want, then use toon shader to adjust.

That's some of the most unrealistic terrains I have ever seen. 7:43 looks almost like a 90s game
That scene is just raw terrain, you still need to layer stuff on top. See 8:24 for where the potential is. 90's terrain was way worse.
