It’s not gonna wean if you’re just gonna offer what it’s always after which is the tits. What the point of biting and pushing it away if you’re not really trying and giving up after 2 tries? Not weaning and limiting milk and clinginess after birth is only gonna get harder every day you wait. Now it’s already got separation anxiety and won’t part for a second because it’s not accustomed to not being attached to its mother. Mother needs to be harsher and show her authority, these mothers give up too easily when weaning and that’s why they never succeed, they wait till their pregnant or have birth to wean because their newborns aren’t able to nurse since their older sibling won’t allow them by draining their mothers milk for themselves or cutting and preventing the newborn from nursing. Majority interrupt their siblings by biting them secretly while the mom is distracted or sleeping and most are too dumb to punish the real culprits which is the elder offspring, instead they punish the younger.
