That guy was really cool you can tell he's in it for the right reasons making people happy with great food
I just liked him standing there as they were tasting it.
He knew it was good.
Going to give this a go this weekend.. just need to locate some Freekeh...which I must confess I've never heard of..
James Halliday try to find a local Arab grocery store. They’ll tell you everything you could every want to know.
@@abeg1571 the chef is Israeli. Go to an Israeli shop
@@zazapachulia6981 I'm sure he wants a good quality and honest experience.
@@zazapachulia6981 nope, freekeh is a staple in all of Middle East.
I love how this episode isn’t about a specific restaurant or some crazy food experiment it’s just a chef, cooking his grandmothers roast for the hosts. As genuine as cooking can get and I’m all for it.
I love how obviously proud and welcoming this man is. I hope he leads an amazing existence
what?
Ma'Halious Walker relax
@Ma'Halious Walker I think this guy is from Persia
@Ma'Halious Walker shut up dude

At the end when we was like “all of us” to the crew. Put a smile on my face. Cooking is all about sharing
Found you guys less than a month ago and have watched all of your videos and have learned a ton!! Thank you!
I love it when he calls the camera people to eat at the end.
That is one happy crew.
This is a guy whose super proud of what he made, and it looks freaking great. Love me some lamb, my family cooks food from a variety of different cultures and use lamb neck for the best freaking broth you can make. I bet this tastes awesome.
This is like The Zohan became a chef instead of “make hair silky smooth”
My God this is so true
Wash it down with some Fizzy Bubblech
Underrated comment
lamb is silky smooth
I don’t get why people say the hosts aren’t fun, I swear one of the best!!
I like how the chef invited everyone at the end and said come on all of us
It’s the Israeli culture... it’s a little different from North American culture.
@@maxmaxmaxmaxmaxmaxmaxmaxmax1 That's just conviviality, it's not entitled to one culture. Any decent friendly person around the world is capable of it
@@shitisreal4046 Agree. My family is from Mexico & they are very giving as well. They give the cops that raid the party a plate of food to go 😂
I know I've complained about past episodes of this show - editing in particular - but this episode was GREAT! Loved the enthusiasm, the videography, editing... just all in all a great episode that reminded me why I subscribed to this channel in the first place. Keep it up!
i love this guy! you should feature him more often..
This is such a great series! Ben and Brent are awesome hosts; so enthusiastic, funny, and eager to learn techniques from other chefs. Binge-watched every episode already!
Thanks so much!
I love this show, I am a devout meat eater, you guys make me happy.

Love watching these with absolutely no deli or butcher knowledge
If you get the chance to spend some time with people from the middle east, especially if you get to experience their hospitality, you're in for a treat. Some of the most wholesome, down to earth and generous peoples you'll come across. Good work Chef.
He's so proud of his work. God, I wish I was that happy doing what I do.
never too late for a change in direction
I would imagine it gets old mopping up peep shows.
Always respect grandmothers. In all their cooking glory.
Lolol 3:40. He really said wawaweewa. Wild
I choked on my food when I heard that... I thought I was hearing things.
Huey Lewis grew up so fast
Literally the first time I've heard it said unironically.
was hoping someone else noticed
Yakshemash!
"It's aggressive already, we take it to a different level of aggressive"; love this guy's attitude!
I loved the chef he’s just so friendly like it’s so nice to see.
This Show just keeps getting better and better. Keep it up guys!
Great show, you guys seem to find the coolest chefs and neatest dishes. Definitely stopping by your shop next time Im in NYC.
May this show never end
Loved seeing the chef throwing the tomato pulp in the cast iron. People are terrified to do the same in their home kitchens.
I love meat and the accent of the different people cooking it
Tomato snot is where most of the glutamates are, so that's going to be some good sauce.
This mans energy is contagious. The way he encourages and so humble.
That guy was awesome. Love the show, guys
Ofir rules and you rule.
oh man I love lamb, especially when my cooks lamb bones with molokhia, life changing plant, so underrated in the Philippines but apparently in the Middle East, it's precious
Wow... Much Love and Respect to Our Grand Mother's... We Love you!!! Light to the Content Creator's who reminded Us just in case we forgot! Salute!!
I love it when butchers aren’t afraid of adding spice.
I was brought up with lamb neck stew. Pearl barley, onion, potatoes, carrot ect the works. One of the only things that I wish I could recreate from my childhood, I can remember eating it for days adding more water to keep it running. Great stuff 👍
This dude reminds me of all my brown friends and it warms my soul when he speaks . “We are going to try it all together, what you think , no ?”
Gents, thanks for the great idea. Any chance you can provide a list of the ingredients? Thanks for another brilliant episode.

Ben and Brent: **Turns chicken into a porchetta**
Haha!
Good to see Bob Belcher has finally discovered RUclips.
:25 he almost flopped his handshake so bad that it dislocated his shoulder 😂
Middle-Eastern Porchetta.. now that is out of the box thinking right there.
This looks delicious.
The filling looks so good with that meat.
I've been buying lamb from a small, local farm at a farmer's market for years, and they know that I enjoy some of the less popular cuts, so often times they'll make sure to bring a whole neck to the market, just for me... I've got to give that particular recipe (with regionally required modifications) a try! Oh Yeah!
Okay! This is a great inspiration. Thank you so much! :D
More lamb! I grew up in iceland. Icelandic lamb is the best I've ever had. Try and make hangikjöt from scratch! Translates to hanged meat. It's cured and smoked lamb. We eat it at Christmas dinner.
Smoked lamb sounds good, never heard of lamb being smoked tbh
@@YusuphYT Smoked lamb would be my last meal on death row!

As an Arab and him saying they’re upping the aggressiveness I was happy with that statement. Sounded like something my father would say
Look at this kid beam while they gush about his dish, I wish to god I could be so proud of my work
Ras el hanout is one the best spices in the world, as far as I know. I know it's a cliché nowadays, but it's really adds on the umami flavour. Maggi is probably my favourite herb when it comes to "European" umami flavours. It can be found in Switzerland, where I originally come from.
Ohh, rare to find a fellow Swiss around here!
@@amirchollet2975 Hello, it is. Cheers.
I love chef watching them eat and rave about it like a proud mother 😆
*N E C K M E A T*
Dude sounds like Yanosh from Ghost Busters 2 🤣🤣
This is what it's all about. Taking something most people don't want or even know how to use and making a delicacy out if it.
When they rolled it and tied it the chef goes “wawawewa” my boy just quoted Borat
Get that man a show. Also that looks incredible

Bob Belcher is doing great with this new show! Say hello to Linda, Tina, Gene and Louis.
3.42 “ wow wah wee wah” you know that it’s about to go down
Ras el Hanout is a moroccan spice mix. You can't say its middle easterian mix. But the rest he is correct. Every spice shop owner had a mix that makes him special.
Chef: You are goingk too fill eet wid a lowt of Hearbs and Freaky...

Dude, that looks amazing.!! if only I could find all those spices so I could try to make this.

At what point in the roasting did the parchment paper and foil go over the pan? Kinda skipped past that. Thank you.
He’s the real Zohan
Feeling the need to riff on this, it looks awesome!
Honestly, that looks so damn good.
