For me it was the (Green with white line) wire (5:42) but you should always test yours to make sure its the right one - 5:00 you want to turn your "day" lights on and hazard lights when testing, you want to quick connect to the "solid" 12v and ground wire- 5:08 . If you wire them on the blinking signal wire your Halo Light will only blink on which side you turn on your blinker XD. The other wire is (Green with yellow stripe) this "For Me" was my blinker but you should always test before you modify the wires. Hope this helps you!
@@NorthDakotaCarGuy Well, first, I really don't want to take the bumper off my car, but I also want to put it in the right way. also, maybe it would be more useful if we got a detailed video of how to install the wiring correctly, assuming that some of the viewers didn't know how to hook wires together. lol imagine making a better installation video than the actual company lol good job brother i just bought these for my eclipse spec d has a shitty install video that's not even of an eclipse.
Ive been told to wire the 12V Fuse box to the "running light" but in the video you say to wire it to the turn signal? How will the halos work with them wired like that?
Its no different if you run it from the fuse box, you still use the same 12v source just closer or farther from the box. Its the same wire, unless im not understanding what your saying correctly. You don't want to run a separate 12v power source because then they will be on all the time when the car electrical is. Hope this helps!
@@AlmondC yep. Make sure you don't wire it to the blinker signalwire there'll be two 12-volt wires. One is always solid and the other fluctuates for the blinker. If you install your 12-volt power wire to the blinker wire your Halo's will flash when your turn signal is on 🤣
I got the same ones today but the halos and the led lights don’t come up when I plug the directly I didn’t do the whole wire thing that u show here is that the reason?
ight fuck this bro i just bought these halos thinking they would just plug in like the oem lights. good video man but damn this is too complex💀 returning the halos
Nah man it's totally worth it! Trust me it's not as complicated as it seems! It always seems complicated but if you do the research and you follow the steps you'll be just fine! And if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask ✌
Thanks! One more question. It seems as though after installation, my turn signals have stopped functioning. Did this happen to you? If so, do you know of a fix?
@@NorthDakotaCarGuy i did everything right i’m just a little slow. The lights were on, it was just broad day light, so it was hard to tell. But they look amazing
If you draw power from the main headlight your headlights will be slightly dimmer and the Halos will not come on by themselves you'll have the Halos and headlights on at the same time
I just got these for my 2000 rs, this helped a lot thank you
Wish the music wasn’t louder than your voice
I understand everything but when u used those quick connectors it looked like a green wire so I was lost, so what color wire will the turn signal be?

So i dont have the same headlights. I don't have the turn signals, but i do have that black box that is connected. Idk what to do with it.

What gauge is the wire that connects to the signal wire?
I believe its 18-14 gauge wire range. 6:00

@@pullingonthestrings No this did not happen to me, does your halos work? If so do they blink on the side its turns on.
@@NorthDakotaCarGuy I figured it out. Apparently you have to have the key in the ignition for the turn signals to work. 😂
@@pullingonthestrings lmao!! Glad you got it to work! Thanks for messaging back
Where do I get the fuse box?
It usually comes with the headlight already installed. If not you can usually find a 12 volt Quick Connect fuse at your local automotive store
What gauge wire do I need
I would run a 16-gauge for this. And then you will need a 16 to 18 quick-connect or what some Call of vampire clip.
i did exactly this, but the halos don’t go on, only the low and high beams
where did you wire them? Did you wire them to the turn signal?

Yes I think so. Does it adversely affect my signal lights?
@@manvsfishmanitoba no it will not effect you turn signal that much (not noticeable)
