Thank you for the explanation. I looked for that in the video's description but saw nothing there. Can it be added there, too? (At first I thought this song might have been about David Olney, but that did not look like him in the video.) Our time here is short, but a song lives on forever. (Savanna Chestnut wrote a song about that, "Smoke on the Plains".) Michael Rhodes was lucky to have such friends to write one like this so he will be remembered forever.
Such a perfect reflection of Michael Rhodes (everything about this song is so very very special). A beautiful Man. Thankyou for celebrating his life and memories through the gifts of music and love.
One of my favorite bass players of all time! The other being the bass player on this song, Glenn Worf. These two were the reason I stayed in Nashville for 17 years. I studied Michael’s approach to his crafting of unique bass lines and emulated it as much as could. His feel, tone, and attitude to music was second to none. He was a true original. God Bless You, Michael. We miss you. ❤
I was not familiar with any of the folks involved in this group before but happened upon it and found it to be one of the most, ahem beautiful songs I've ever heard. Bravo.
❤😊Rodney always aces every song he ever sings in. Beautiful voice from early age to 73.Please dont quit.❤
This is a tribute to Michael Rhodes, our dear friend and world class bass player.
