I really wanna get into more of Dapper's stuff. But it really has been so hit or miss for me. Mula Mula was an absolute hit. Beach Hut Man, Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, and Hindu Kush just came off as such thin versions of the OGs. It really does feel like the success rate is about 1 out of 4 work for me. Thanks so much for sharing. Also, Travis seems to be a wonderful guy.
Their version of Nautica Competition is pretty amazing. I wore the OG back in the day & basically begged Travis to make it & he definitely nailed it. It's one of my favorite Dappers as well.

Julianna’s Perfume makes some of the best dupes around. Dapper is next after them in my opinion. Oakcha’s dupes tend to smell rather flat or one note. Not bad. Just… not complex. Although that does make some of their dupes good for layering. The quality is okay. However they delete bad reviews. Which is very dishonest. So I don’t think you can trust the reviews on their website. They’re also rather overprice. I’ve heard bad things about DUA and with Atl I’ve heard mixed reviews.
I've come close to pulling the trigger on their Nautica Competition clone ever since you posted it on IG a while back, Sarah. Today may have to be the day to just go for it, I'm just not sure I can get my hopes up and then have my heartbroken if it doesn't smell at least pretty close. 🤣
@@GlamFinds I have the search for it saved on eBay and Mercari (your idea, that I borrowed)... Hoping to some day find it available at a reasonable price, though "reasonable" is yet undefined lol. That might make for an interesting video topic, actually. Your experience online selling your fragrances, and what other people do with theirs.

No, he sends them to a lab but sometimes, makes some of the overly niche stuff more wearable (that's why I often prefer the Dapper to the OG, i.e. Nishane FYF is better in the Dapper version)

I feel the same way. I ordered Ébène Fume from them, and it is NOTHING like the original scent. That’s why I don’t buy from them.

Do you recommend Dapper over other brands such as Dossier, Alt, Alexandria, Layered etc?
