- A shear wall in a building is a structural element that is designed to resist lateral forces acting on a building such as earthquakes and wind load.
This video will give you a better understanding of shear walls, why shear walls are provided, and if shear walls completely prevent the collapse of buildings.

I am sorry🙏. At the ending of the video, I mistakenly deleted the last seconds of the video. But I hope you already got the idea and concepts of shear walls? God bless you all🙏.
If you want to see more videos about shear walls or any structural members, you can let me know. Once more, God bless you all🙏
new knowledge i learned today. Thanks for the so informative video!
You are welcome
Thanks man, very helpful ❤️
You welcome❤💙
Thank You 😊 Brother, very informative...God bless you😇
You are Welcome dear. Amen. God bless you too
great video
thanks bro
You are welcome
Thank you❤
You are welcome dear
what is the difference between structural wall and shear wall in practical construction? how to construct the shear wall different to structural wall and bearing wall?
Shear walls are structural walls that support not only his weight but also support and resist lateral loads. The load bearing wall will support his own weight and the vertical load produced by beams, slabs, and even other walls.
I will make a video explaining this question in details
great video
Thanks
thanks the video is very helpful. I would like you to work on the background noise.
Ok dear. I will work on that. Thanks for letting me know
Bro plz try to make a video on latest construction techniques.....for conventional buildings
Ok. That will be the next video.
Hi brother, what kind of software did you use for the simulation?
Not mine. But you can use Blender
@@Innotutorial thanks brother
@@shamamba02 You are welcome brother
It's "sheer," not 'shear," which refers to removing wool from sheep.
Really?
@@Innotutorial en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shear_wall no he’s dumb
It's shear wall not sheer
Are you lost? @Justin
You are obviously not in the construction field
He might be referring to the way SHEAR is commonly pronounced. In the same way as SHEER and not SHARE.
OR He's more confused than the rest of us. 😜
