Why did I put a drink vending machine in my garage? Plus, I'll show you how I set up the machine for double-deep can stacks and run a few vending tests.
I love these videos of vending machines being used at home. I have an 80s Dr. Pepper machine in the garage myself, it really is a lot more fun than just grabbing drinks out of the fridge. Like yours, mine has the original cooling deck and wiring. I did wire mine for free vend, however.
Thanks for these pop machine vids. I just bought one and of course dude lied, it didn’t work perfectly and I had to watch a few vids to get it going. Very helpful. Aaaand you’re exactly right. We consume ALOT less pop now that we keep it all in a machine. I do have one question. We got the machine working and first two weeks was great. But now a pop is jammed in the rotor and I can’t get it out. Any suggestions
@jlb9133 you can remove the motor from the front, lift off the retaining plate and lift the rotor up at angle and turn it without pulling it out of the rear socket. See the "rotor disassembly" video recently posted.
I bought a similar vending machine, and the exact placement of wide columns as yours. except the guy who sold it to me didn't tell me that the first 3 selections were not for cans. so i have to buy shims now for all the 3 wide columns. would any body recommend the website to were to buy the shims?
Can you tell me what the model number is? The rotor style determines the capacity and type on the 90 series. D&S Vending Inc usually has parts for most of the Dixie Narco machines out there.
@@carinoscarwash7240 the 500 series is different than the one in the video which is a 90 series. The shim sets for the 500 series can be found on D&S Vending's web site.
Forget another question is when I load the machine instead of the gate section when I close the door an put the money in it does not give me time to push a different button like Dr Pepper before the coke will fall
I have an 1981 Dixie Narco Pepsi machine the brake does not stop the cam when it vends causing the vend as soon as i money in it. Can you show or explain how the cams work and how to replace and adjust?
I have the same exact coke machine several problems I’m having is one every time I put the last quarter in the machine before I push the button the can coke drops can you help me with that next question is sometimes when I put the last quarter in it will drop 2 drinks instead of one before I push the button
Quick question on my 276E. So my 12 oz Body armor bottles are not dispensing consistent and on another selection for my 12 oz cans they won’t stop dispensing 2 at once, how do I fix this?
I bought the same exact machine that you have and when we put the money in and press the button to select it doesn’t drop the can we select. Can you please tell me what I gotta Do to fix it PLEASE? I’m not sure if maybe it’s the wiring cause my lights on the selections aren’t red like yours.:(
It takes hands on diagnostics to troubleshooting these machines. Everything is driven by the main relay and switches. Buy a "free vend" switch online and plug it in where the coin mech plugs in. If you still can not get it to vend then replace the relay beside it. If that does not work then you will need to trace every circuit one by one to find the fault.
Which coin mech does it have? There are little switches in there where you set combinations of nickle, dime, quarter, etc and the coin values varies between brand and models.

I have a wireless remote relay wired into mine for that too. :D

See the autovend video. It is a switch/cam timing issue on that coke rotor.

What type of rotor is in the column, is it a double or single column space and what color cam is installed?
