    The stash builder goal is going to be your biggest challenge. That is a hard one to meet when you have planned to do so many through the year. It will be interesting to see how that one unfolds!
    Loving this kit! ❤

      It will be! I think it means I need to buy around 50 kits this year! I need to go back to previous years and see what my buying patterns look like. Thanks for watching!!

    I love your cover sheets. Thank you for the WIP and chat. I really look forward to watching and listening to you. Sometimes I go back and watch your older videos just to hear your soothing voice or your great laugh 😂 Thank you so much and can’t wait for your next video. Love you, Theresa

    5:19 You may need to use a powered USB hub. I was having the same problem. I found out that the USB port on the laptops and Mac books do not have not have enough power to run more than one hard drive at a time. A powered external USB hub will help.

      Oh, interesting. I’ll have to share that with hubby - he’s the resident tech expert! Thanks for sharing!

    I came too late to the diamond painting art to get any of Carrah-Anne Aldrich’s pieces from Craftibly and I’m so sad all of her kits are archived. I literally love every one I’ve seen (and am not willing to play the game of paying outrageous prices for anyone wanting to detach “rares.”) So I’ll live vicariously through you and others doing them. I love the work you’ve done so far on this kit and I appreciate your company while diamond painting, even if you’re feeling a bit discombobulated and not 💯 together on your goals, you’re still doing a great job! ❤

    Hmm the .01 cent billing - having worked in medical insurance a long time - it really seems to be a chance to get more money- a penny here/there doesn’t sound like much- but add it up across patients- nothing to sneeze at. Hope your daughter is doing better 😊

    • @DiamondPaintingAnonymous
      @DiamondPaintingAnonymous  9 месяцев назад

      I had that same thought, but every time I’ve seen it, it’s been written off as part of another service. So the whole process doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. 🤷‍♀️

    In Canada, in my province of British Columbia, my daughter was diagnosed with cancer. All the specialist visits, all the lab work, the months of Chemo, the months of chemo maintenance, the hospitalizations , etc……not one penny out of pocket for any of the aforementioned. How on earth would she have survived in the US medical system? I just don’t understand how someone like my daughter would have survived financially. How many people die because they could not afford the massive bills that would come with Cancer treatments in the US, even if they had insurance of some kind? So sad

      @DiamondPaintingAnonymous  9 месяцев назад

      Sadly, you're right. There is some financial assistance available, but not everyone qualifies for the help and there's not enough of it. For a lot of people, one serious illness can be a financial catastrophe and often leads to bankruptcy or worse. We are definitely lucky she has good insurance.

      I should have noted that all the costs for my daughter’s cancer treatment were covered, not by insurance, but by our goverment as it is for everyone.

    The 1 cent billing is a Medicare billing requirement. Because it is a Medicare requirement, the software for billing puts it on all bills.

    • @DiamondPaintingAnonymous
      @DiamondPaintingAnonymous  9 месяцев назад

      Interesting - why does Medicare require it? And why for $0.01? Does Medicare pay the $0.01 for things that should be included under the office visit CPT?

    • @gailf1853
      @gailf1853 9 месяцев назад

      @DiamondPaintingAnonymous nope, nobody ever pays for it, but it is a reminder for medical professionals to ask the questions. Do you feel safe, how do you feel outside of the main issue. Can we catch someone on the slide into a mental health issue, address something at the start instead of a small thing turning into a big problem.

    • @gailf1853
      @gailf1853 9 месяцев назад

      The one cent is for programming as a zero charge can be problematic to show on the bill.

    • @DiamondPaintingAnonymous
      @DiamondPaintingAnonymous  9 месяцев назад

      @@gailf1853 Interesting. Not sure why that wouldn’t just be a checkbox during the patient intake, rather than having to be reflected on the bill, which presumably, the nurse/dr doesn’t generally see. I get the point behind it, but it seems a bit of a strange way to go about it. Thanks for sharing!!

    wow how many on average do you complete each month? I’ve been fairly slow but multiplacing helps

    • @DiamondPaintingAnonymous
      @DiamondPaintingAnonymous  9 месяцев назад

      2 a month is probably average, but it also depends on the size of the kits. Thanks for watching!!

      No, I would swear someone told me there are three Spangler events this year, and one was in March. I haven’t looked yet, though.

    150 a month budget but you want to increase 35 kits? Are you planning to buy budget paintings?

    • @DiamondPaintingAnonymous
      @DiamondPaintingAnonymous  9 месяцев назад

      Clearly I didn’t think this one through! I think I have enough points to get some kits at a couple of companies, and I have a chunk planned for BF/CM sales, but I don’t think that’s going to be enough to get the stash increase I was hoping for. I may have to rethink that goal!
