Good video but I have seen you have to also look at the level of cricket you're playing. Some lower leagues will use a ball with a very hard core so it's better you buy a bat with some hard wood. Then come the pitches, again, in lower level competition, the pitches will not offer a lot of bounce so it's better to buy a bat that has most of its bulk and sweet spot near the bottom, so you're able to play the drives with more power and find the middle of the bat more often. For lower level competition I have seen bats made by Asian brands do better due to their fuller profile with the spine going all the way into the toe.

uss samay jab batsman flow mein dikh raha ho, do not experiment much, kyuki uss samay sarey decisions galat hotey hain aksar. instead stick to the good length area and try and bowl as slow as possible with some loop in the ball...
