I have experienced similar battles with pornography during my walk also, I once went several weeks into that wickedness, the first couple of days the guilt was incredibly heavy, by the end of the first week, I was looking forward to the next moment I would sin again. I remember after I chose to quit again and return to the fold, it took almost a week of prayer to even feel like I was still accepted. That particular sin against the body is not a joke at all!! It is only when looking back and really seeing it for what it is that one truly understands how serious the spiritual battle is. I'm not going to be anywhere close to perfect until the adoption is complete, but something I learned that is so helpful in the battle, is 1 peter 5:7-9 instructing to be firm in the faith knowing that our other brothers and sisters are struggling with the same trials. May God give you strength in faith and spirit.
