Since Chan trained at JYP for seven years, he trained with a lot of Twice; Sana has said they were/are close! When Stray Kids had their last concert in Osaka Japan, I guess he said some comments in the Kansai dialect--the Japanese line of Twice helped teach him (since they're from Osaka) 😊 There is a sad but sweet story Momo told on a live once about how when they were trainees and were on a strict diet, Chan gave them his meal tickets so they could eat.
Anyway Twice and Stray Kids are my ult groups so that was my Chan x Sana essay 😅

Chan gets so embarrassed when his sunebaes (however you spell it....I really have problems spelling) show up. It's cute and funny to see him stumble over everything.

I think Chan sometimes has his professional mode where he places a lot of weight on greetings, manners, showing proper respect, but then he has his casual mode where when he's close to someone he seems to have much lower boundaries. You see it sometimes when he's with Felix, or in more casual moments but especially with non-native Korean friends he seems to have this sibling dynamic where they bond via teasing and definitely not showing the hyper-respect, so my guess would be he and Sana have that kind of dynamic- a little like Chan does with his sister Hannah. But Chan with his seniors is always so fun to see. He was a trainee so long and from such a young age I think they played a huge role in becoming a substitute family system for him, his relationship with Young K is very sweet because Young K knew him since he was about 13. But I've always loved how Chan seems to have so many good friends in the industry and isn't shy about talking about how fond of them he is.

Always love watching Chan interact with his seniors. He ends up being so incredibly cute hahaha. And yes, he's very close with Sana. ANd quite a few other Twice members too. I loved your reaction. ANd your little explanations about Korean culture, the bit about the difference in formal and informal speech. DId not know the special phone-only hello, so that was nice information. I can see how it would feel very awkward to use formal speech when you're used to using informal or casual with each other. In my language we still have a difference between informal and formal "you" and I know it would feel really weird using the formal you on camera when I don't use it normally with that person. In Korean I know the formal speech goes further than that, so if that one word would feel awkward, I can only imagine how it would be in Korean.
The video where Sana heard God's Menu...the entire thing is just so wonderful. Young K's part was longer and the other Skz members join them. Seeing Seungmin getting all star struck with Young K there is adorable (he's a huge Day6 fan, which I'm sure you know). Jun K. also came. But it's far far too long to ever react to.
There's a Chan's room where Young K was the special guest. Not sure if you've seen that. But it's wonderful. Young K teases the #$#* out of Chan and CHan is adorable. i don't want to spread any hate energy here but there are times where they interact/support each other , SOME 개인팬 (solo sana stan) who don't like, when sana talks about chan. There this one time when sana congratulate chan in bubble(app) for winning KINGDOM(reality show competition), a lot of sana solo stans shows negativity about it. They just don't like chan being with sana. And as you can see, sana barely have interaction between them now, not like before. But they're close to each other, sometimes chan said on bubble that he always asked sana and mina to improve his japanese when they we're on tour.
Chan is fun loving social person he is close with so many male and female idols . I am not exaggerating he is friends with half of k-pop industry. It's fun to see there a little bit of awkwardness between them not so many female and male idol interact on camera and skz had still a young group that time. As time pass the awkwardness of camera is gone as you see in EDM day program they interact freely. But it's fun to watch their interaction .😀❤
