It would’ve been way cooler to have a realization bossfight for each option in the end. Angela forgiving Roland would incite a realization against herself from LC. It is only by overcoming greed and desire that she can come to forgive Roland for trying to betray her. Roland forgiving Angela would lead to initial stubborness, hence a realization between Roland and the Black Silence. He has to realize that this will lead ultimately nowhere, and from there, he can finally forgive Angela.
