Guys, if this is your first playthrough don't forget to explore this whole area carefully. There are many collictibles and secrets. BTW if you're wondering how he knew the code to the door, there's a cafeteria to the right. Use the light so you can go behind the counter and check the menu on the wall. The code to the door is the one with the name of the hotel, obviously
@@Ricky-tr2hd You have to play both stories until they reach the same point and meet each other Even if you finish Saga's story way too soon, you'll have to go back to finish Alan's until both stories meet
In case anyone else runs into this issue, when you enter the door at the very top where the lighting is red or dark depending on using the lamp it will loop you over and over. Go through the hallway with the lighting red and use the lamp outside the door then go back upstairs use the lamp and then go back down the hallway and the stairs will be there to go down.
Because everything is a maze, and you end up running in circles a lot with no assistance with navigation except for a vague map. You have to walk forever to get to the other side of the map when exploring with Saga. With Wake the clues on the map aren’t helpful as nothing is a direct path and most things you can only get from the top of a building or find after running around the clue a bunch (like with echoes and words of power) The game was good, but could have been much better if you could select something on the map and be guided to it. It’s not fun to have to keep retracing your steps because you can’t figure out how to get to one little area. Trying to get all the collectibles is quite tedious.
Yeah exactly, I tried to get used to it but every time felt like I was running in the circles and the running around in this game is so slow that it makes going around the maps more tedious and wasteful. The story is great and the characters too but I wish they included a little easy hud for moving, for the people who want it.
So fucking true, imagine if all the game was as Saga, it would have been amazing residen evil-like experience. Alan's part is pure fucking trash, I dont even want to play it so I speedrun via youtube videos.
Go to the nearby cafeteria, use the light to gain access behind the bar, look at the menu and you'll see the price of the Oceanview drink is $25.50, which is the code.
I think I had a bug in mine: when you change the lamp on the outside, it should move you from door to door. But however, my game didn't. It moved me from the same door to the same door no matter how the light was on. I ran around the area a few times, saw the police officer that I missed next to the saving point, talk to him a bit, then went back up, now the light on top affected where I ended up. Before it didn't.
Could you take that shotgun in bar? This is my first time when I can't take something because of full inventory. So I went back to safe space, made inventory half empty and still I can't take that gun...
These pretentious assholes don't like simple design. Alan Wake was way better than this trash and it was trippy and was easy to follow along. This is just annoying, having so damn many shadows in the damn street that doesn't attack you too. Plus the light charges are also BS, you burn through them so quickly.
I don’t know if I love or hate this game lol it looks stunning but it’s weird as hell!! Is it a musical or a horror game or what?! The saga Anderson game play is better. What the hell is gods or Asgard?! lol I mean who thinks of This? They could have just kept it a straight forward linear paranormal police investigation. That’s it.

I received a message saying I'm near end of the story for Saga. So, I guess I won't see any of this? I went to her at this point.

Same here! And not only the game design. So boring, so annoying, so flat ... + the digtal sells and we all got caught :(

@@techwizardeu The game is a confusing mess. But it is kind of neat too. I don't recommend it, but I paid for it so I'll continue on.
True man
I swear I did this thing the same way as this guide and I was stuck here forever
The only parts of this game I dreaded were the Alan missions😂I just wanted to play as Saga the entire time. Idk why they made the game like this

This game is very confusing...
I got tricked from reviewers saying its a 10 out of 10, “evil within” shits diarrhea all over this game ! Alan wake 2 gets a 5 out of 10 from me …
