I follow Caroline Parker a Brit who lives in Boston (but is moving back) she just paid around £7K to have her baby girl in the US on top of her monthly £1K insurance cover - Couldn’t believe it! Very grateful for the NHS x

As someone that has an all in one washer dryer, AVOID! They are so much less efficient than separate machines

I second this! My cousin has one and does nothing but moan about it, but her house is so small she can't have a traditional set.
We had one and it never dried it, had to basically take most of it out. Least with separate you can do two washes faster

For Americans with an employer. The average insurance premium is $54.00 a paycheck. Employers cover more than 80% of the cost of insurance. If you are self employed then of course it's expensive, but there are government subsidies for those people as well.
They don’t have 9hour wait times in A&E or 3-9 months wait for a operation there the UK’s NHS is horrendous healthcare to many people no staff or beds

Hey guys! I work for an American health insurance company. You understood perfectly the deductibles etc…but my tip is to please read your Evidence of coverage before doing anything health treatment related. Every plan to every person (depending on premium you pay) has different prices for diff services you get. You might have a higher or lower price for going to see your PCP than someone else with the same plan. Deductible is also what you pay before the plan pays anything. You need to reach that for the plan to kick in. In your case…after you’ve spent 1500. Hope this helps!! Good luck on the new journey!! Loving this new life 😍

Lol...y'all just wait till that extreme Texas heat & humidity of the summer kicks in! Spring time is nothing! Elle you could check World Market for your chocolate digestives. They're still a bit costly, but not no $40! We love Best Buy as well. It's a great store! Hooray that the fridge is finally in! I'd recommend getting LG for your washer/dryer also. Ours have lasted well over 7 yrs. now and still going strong. 👍 Check out Kirklands bcuz they've got great things for the home I think you'd really love. exciting stuff the furniture looks amazing over there, like you said the pantry you will need to decide what your family wants to eat, once you get things sorted you will be able to stock up and shop around for the best prices and possible meal plan so you don't have to spend time in the Kitchen all the time. The US can be more expensive than the UK but you will get the hang of it. Love the Fridge freezer. all good stuff guys can not wait to see how you style up the house. love to all xxx
