Congratulations, Jennifer! 🎉 I run but have always said a marathon would be too much. However you (and some other running influencers) have me inspired to take on this distance!!!
That's awesome! Would love to run a marathon in Manila some day. Here's some running tips to help: - Have proper running shoes. Best to get fitted for proper shoes. (I normally get one full size up since our feet swell during activity) - Always listen to your body. It's ok to take walking breaks when you need. It'll help on the long run. - Keep hydrated. Especially with the air being so humid in PH. - Mix up your training with some strength training and make sure recovery is part of that plan as well. Stretching before and after is a must. - Nothing new on race day. (ie clothes, shoes, hydration, etc ... All that should be locked down during training to make sure your body will be comfortable with what you're going to put it through. - Lastly, have fun. It's your first time. =) Enjoy the vibe!
Hi there. Yes, I normally take water sips in between stations because of how I train with my gels intake/fuel and a lot of the time I’m not near a water station.
Thanks for coming along on this journey with me. I hope you all enjoyed this series. On to the next adventure!!

would you take a waterpack if you were to run it again considering the amount of water stations? Trying to decide if I want to take the extra weight
