Very good solo!!! Plenty of techniques making it has real DP climate and sound. I think Blackmore would hear this solo with respect and would be happy being motivation for new generation of guitarists like You! Happy new Year 2018!
You can get a DP sound out of it. Just turn the gain down ... Blackers doesn't play with much gain at all. That is what makes him so unique - trying shredding clean at insane (Marshall Major ) volumes - it's difficult isn't it:)
Blackmores an oddity. Ive a had a few of these guitars and they aint easy to play. Low gain, high action (if you wanna bend without choking) and extreme noise from the high output single coils. I dont know how he does it.
@@uv77mc85 the action can always be lowered and a good set-up and intonation job always helps. As far as the noise goes, check out Fender Noiseless pickups as well as Seymour Duncan or Dimarzio models. Noise- free performance just a few choices away !
@@rickleblanc8900 the problem is the 7.25 radius. If you want to do big bends without choking you have to have the action quite high. I have owned 3 blackmore strats and currently have one with clapton electronics. Great sounding guitar but i would rather a flatter radius.
Finally a video which shows the scallops in the fretboard, and also that the Blackmore guitar has a nonsymmetrical and progressive scallop. meaning that on the lower strings Low "E" "A" & "D" there is no scalloping so you can play power chords easily, and on the upper stings "G" "B' "E" the fretboard is scalloped so you can control those strings better. i've had fender stratocaster with vintage tremolo bridges for decades. It is a myth that the tuning of the strings get detuned easily. From my experience detuning does not happen easily. It does happen but rarely. The trick to keeping in tune is: after stringing and tuning the strings, pull the strings with your fingers hard. Then re-tune. Repeat this process 10 times or more. Also , clean the nuts and the saddles each time re-string is taking place (oil the nuts and saddles if possible). Fender strat vintage tremolo bridge is simplest mechanism for all guitars which I dont see a need for the locking tremolo shit. Locking tremolo bridge system is just way to cumbersome when tuning/retuning/re-string.
Great info but I kind of disagree. In my experience, vintage trems can hold tuning only when you dive them, because when you bend a string it goes out of tune until you dive the trem again. EVH was know for using a 6 point trem guitar and by diving it at times he could hold the guitar's tuning during live presentations. I personally prefer Floyd Rose bridges over vintage trems for the tuning stability and the ability to beat the heck out of it while still being perfectly in tune.
The only problem that I see with the guitar is it needs jumbo frets. If you look at Blackmore guitar that he plays they're not these little skinny frets. I didn't realize that till after I purchased one mine was made in Japan though

I just got the Ritchie Blackmore guitar from Sweetwater. They installed a Graph Tech Tusq XL nut and set the action to fender spec. The neck only frets out under the most extreme bends. and it plays pretty well, but I'm thinking the action could be lower. I'm wondering if it could be setup with lower lower action without fretting out. How is your guitar setup?
Man that’s some bad-ass sweep picking on that solo…. whole thing is bangin’! In your opinion does this Strat have as strong an output as one with humbuckers? Seriously thinking about getting this one. Thanks

Just a question from a very novice, why in the middle no pickup installed? Can we modify install an additional pickup? What may be the best pickup for the middle?
Richie Blackmore does not use the middle pickup at all. However, there is a regular routing under the pickguard for a middle pickup, so installation is possible without any woodwork. I did it without further issues. You need to change wiring of the switch and the tone controls accordingly, If you intend to do this as well then let me propose to build in other pickups. The Seymour Duncan quarterpounders are powerful, but they are no humbuckers, so you are facing a lot of hum, which annoys Richie Blackmore as well. He never used these pickups. These are built in for cost reasons I guess. I replaced those by DiMarzio Humbuckers in Single coil format, which sound great without hum.

+NeoGeofanatic J'en profite pour te dire un gros merci!! Grâce à toi je me suis lancé dans la guitare et je regrette pas du tout :D \m/ Continue de faire ce que que tu fais parce que t'es génial là dedans ;)
Nope. Much higher output. But Ritchie didn't use high gain amps. He used the 200 w Marshall Major heads, modded to put out nearly 300 watts, but for gain, Ritchie used the quarter pounders or the 500T's and ran the guitar into an Aiwa reel to reel tape recorder as a preamp-booster.
What is your band's name? Also why did you have the camera angle shot in a way so that nobody can see your face? Is it because you're just so self conscious that you don't want to be seen? If so, keep this i mind: Your playing is good. You have nothing to be embarrassed about but if you let your shyness keep you from showing the world your face, then you're really limiting your future possibilities! Be bold!
Great tones out of your guitar. I would expect nothing less from a guitar with Mr. Blackmore’s name on it.

Hi. Those Seymour duncan mics sounds like the original Fender ones?
Ace of Spades album is by Stratocaster.
良いサウンドですね~。ただギターだけの音では無いのでアンプとかエフェクターのセッティング見たかったですね。

Almost kind of sounds like Diary of a Madman at the end.
How much does it cost this customed version? I'm in love😵😵
quite affordable
What is your band's name? Also why did you have the camera angle shot in a way so that nobody can see your face? Is it because you're just so self conscious that you don't want to be seen? If so, keep this i mind: Your playing is good. You have nothing to be embarrassed about but if you let your shyness keep you from showing the world your face, then you're really limiting your future possibilities! Be bold!
No middle pickup, why don't they just make it with a 2 pickup scratchplate, lol.
Well it gives you the option of adding a middle pickup... also probably just easier to use the stock plates.
