I have a theory: I think Skip Bayless created Nick Wright. Because over the years, with how much Skip is pro Jordan and always will take digs at Lebron over anything he does, out came Nick Wright who is obviously very pro Lebron. Most talking heads are pretty in the middle over the Jordan vs Lebron debate. But with Nick Wright vs Skip Bayless, its almost like Extreme Left vs Extreme Right. By the way, I'm definitely on the Nick Wright side. Because Skip Bayless has lost his damn mind.
Lol. Y'all wildin. We wouldn't have the #1 seed without him. He missed the playoffs. So what? He played 49 games, and started 44. He stayed home to take care of his family. There are players that got rings that did waaaaaay less.
No matter who you believe is the greatest basketball player who has ever played basketball Lebron James is one of the clutchest basketball players who has ever played basketball. Also everything Nick Wright said about Lebron James in this segment is right on the money.
The problem with the "clutch" argument is its subjectivity. Its not a standardized statistic with a clear definition. Here are some other gripes I have with Nick's argument. Coming from a statistician. Mentioning lebron "taking and making" more clutch shots in the playoffs than anyone else. Of course he did. Look at how many games he played vs everyone else. An equivalent comparison would be a ratio of clutch shots made / games played. This creates an even comparison for every player. Another gripe is using fg% to talk about being a good "shooter." The two are not always linear. Shaq had a 58% fg percentage through his career, some seasons he had 60+. Finishing around the rim and shooting are not the same. You might be able to use free throw percentage to make an argument (hold more validity) but it's still not a fair metric to use in that argument.
I like listening to Nick. He brings stats into his analysis as well as logic and unbelievable reasoning. He is almost always objective. His human nature is taking the 0.001% that he is not. Exactly why Skip will never think about calling him on Undisputed. Nick will embarrass Skip beyond anything and i can picture Skip wanting to fight, losing his voice, flipping and banging the table. Shannon is so cool 😎, he let Skip lies and hate on LBJ like nothing the world has ever seen.

i love this nick wright and colin duo.
That might’ve been Nick Wrights best segment of his career
Tyler herro SNARL LMAOOOOOO where you at breh?
Like I said after Game 3, big mistake. LBJ wiped that snarl off him and Herro flopped... LITERALLY!
Nick just comes to slay Colin. Best thing on TV.
ADs defense in game 4 helped his mvp case but he dont have a chance after his game 3
I love Nick Wright but dont care for the rest on First Things First. Really enjoy hearing both Wright and Cowherd with each other.
Colin and nick have good chemistry
Nick Wright is a genius. Plain and simple. Very wise
Thank you Nick Wright!
i love nick wright
Nick Wright dropping 💣s.
106-1 mind blown 🤯
Everytime I need someone to echo my points I google nick. Smartest man on tv💯
At least hating skip bayless is fun,
Colin is straight up upsetting
"You're gonna have a bad season if you have to face Mahomes every week."
LOL.
Not a cowboys fan but nick mentions the cowboys pass rush and completely avoids mentioning Aldon Smith 🤔
LeBron's go ahead shots efficiency is higher than those ppl perceive as extremely clutch, aka Jordan, Kobe. AND he's a playmaking threat. It's all about perception.
now that was good Nick Wright
Nick is probably a backwards hat kinda guy
Where all the Heat fans I saw after game 3?
Oh yeah, like Herro's snarl... non existent!
They crawled back into they’re mother’s basements
Yo Nick for the W again. He is hilarious ... keep up the great work
I have a theory: I think Skip Bayless created Nick Wright.
SO WE JUST GONE FORGET ABOUT LEBRONS TIME IN MIAMI
Im here after the LAKERS CHIP!!! Whos with me and waiting for Colins reaction?
I completely forgot about of Avery Bradley. Do he deserve a ring at this point?
Of course he does.
Lol. Y'all wildin. We wouldn't have the #1 seed without him. He missed the playoffs. So what? He played 49 games, and started 44. He stayed home to take care of his family. There are players that got rings that did waaaaaay less.
No
He's on the roster
Nick makes some really good arguments for Lebron
The clippers were never good -Nick Wright
Love Nick Wright and Colin going at it ... Always great and makes me laugh ... Good Stuff Guys!!! LeBron James is The King of This Era!!!
Colin’s comment to Nick’s wife at the end was a little weird lol....
Nick the mastermind of sports ⚾️ 🏈 🏀
Love Nick's first line-
Dude I'm a LeBron fan but it's so annoying hearing Nick Wright talk about LeBron.
Can't mention pat macafees show when quoting rogers?
We needs Nick vs Skip
Nick, you laid out some good data today
The clutch narrative is one dimensional. LBJ is clutch with blocks assists steals shots etc
I like Nick on the show
Bron is clutch. That 56-0 and 160-1 closing stat is ridiculous.
GIVE SOME DAMN CREDIT TO PAT MCAFEE
His reaction was 🔥🔥🔥😂
JIMMY IS THE MVP HEAT IN 7
I wonder if Kyrie has 100+ wins without LeBron on the same team?
He has lost 100+ games
Missed 100+ games
People saying AD are saying it because they don’t want it to be lebron. I guarantee if you press those people on what they think about lebron, you will find more than half are anti-lebron.
The Clips and Cs would've matched up way better versus the Lakers, styles make fights
I kind of miss the days that Nick Wright slightly acknowledged that Colin was his mentor. It was a beautiful rant of analytics and statistical dominance followed by a tip of the cap.
Nick always comes with the stats to back it up, can’t deny facts
Nick is WRIGHT again!!!
What do you think of Eric biennemy and Trevor Lawrence for the jets
Can you guys give credit to Pat McAfee for all of these Rodgers quotes? Jesus
